Famous Battles of the Spanish American War

So i need to do a project about famous battles of the spanish american war but like i'm not entirely sure what qualifies as 'famous'. I know the battle of San Juan Hill was famous and Manila bay but i'm nt sure what else. I have a list of pretty much all the battles but i know thats not what my teacher wants. Anyone know what battles were 'famous' during this time?

I am a female senior in highschool and I currently like a guy who is a freshman. He's three years younger than me. Is that wrong? What should I do? Sex with yeast infection

Is it okay to have sex with a yeast infection? I've had this for over 6 months, the gyno keeps giving me medications to try but none have work because it's a type of yeast infection that is resistant to medications I guess. I was put on this cream for 3 days and about 2 days after using it I had sex with this guy -we used a condom. As far as I'm aware he did not have any itching, etc. I don't know if it's just luck, or if it's because he used a condom or if it's because I had just finished using the cream (but I still had the infection?) now it's a long story but I'm driving to see someone 4 hours away next weekend because that's where he's playing hockey right now. Sleepless

I love sleeping, I sleep ALOT. At least I need to sleep 12 hours a day and sometimes i sleep more.
I never wake up because of a nightmare or such. I am also a very heavy sleeper.
But its been more than a week, I havnt been able to sleep well. Like I sleep but i'd wake up 7 or more times in my bed because of different nightmares i am having.
no light and not any noise, my room is perfect for sleeping.
Why is that happening to me? I love sleeping and the nightmares suck. Like 7 different dreams, and its been going on for more than a week.

bleaching gone wrong...

So today I decided to be spontaneous (bad idea) and attempt to go blond. I have med/dark brown hair. I ended up at the drug store and came back with Loreal Super Blonde... its a bleach. So I did everything according to the instructions and when all was said and done, most of my hair ended up a light brown which looks pretty nice, but the top of my head (probably 2 inches from each side of my scalp) is a horrid yellow/orange. I know the typical piece of advice would be for me to seek professional help. But honestly, I do not have the money for that right now. I've contemplated 2 options: using a blond dye over everything and hoping for the best... or just re-dying it my natural color, or almost black. Would black do the trick? I am helpless. Thanks a bunch!

There's this guy I REALLY like. He goes to my school. He looks at me A LOT. Like, he's always starring. But, whenever we actually get to talk, he get's nervous, chokes up, and is REALLY shy. I don't know how to break the ice and get this moving along. I'm not trying to push things, but I know that he has a great personality. I just wish he would show it around me more. my friend had problems. she was on medication and she and her parents didn't see eye to eye at all. they'd always fight and she was prone to self mutilation. she called me up one day about a month ago crying. i went to her house and she was standing outside with cuts all over her wrists and thighs, saying she and her mom had a fight and she couldnt take it. i know she wasn't trying to kill herself. if she was, she'd be dead right now and she's not. i invited her to stay at my house and at first my dad said no. but he said she could stay for dinner. so we ate and everything was perfectly fine. then my dad told me that she could stay as long as she needed to but as soon as i was about to tell her, her mom called, demanding that she come home ...

children do not care

My children, particularly the 10 and 11 year-old, do not seem to have any regard for rules. Simple requests, such as bringing down dirty clothes and linens, are ignored. Their only response when asked why they did not is only a shrug or "I don't know". We have noticed that this behavior is carrying over to school, as well. When asked if they have any homework, etc., they almost always say no, but we have been contacted by teachers that they are not turning in assignments. We have removed games, TV, ipods, computers, cell phone use and at one point removed our oldest from basketball, but they really do not seem to care. At least not to the point of any improvement. I don't know how to discipline someone who simply does not care. Need advice...

im 17. im on birthcontrol althou for the past two months stupidly i havnt been taking them on time everyday. and because of that my period will come a week ahead. (i think so) last month my period first day came as brown and light. its annoying i thought its because i didnt take a pill one day out of the whole month. well needless to say when i fenally got red blood it was lighter than usual. this month i seriously would miss at least 2 pills every week i have no clue why i didnt mean to i just am very busy and tell myself oh ill take it when i get home and dont. My brother-in-law moved in with us due to a divorce. He never cooked a meal, nor cleaned. He had my mother-in-law come so she could pick up after him and cook his meals. She started resenting the fact that I wasn't doing chores for my brother-in-law. She even demanded dinner when she'd return to the house with my brother-in-law.
