Weight Loss

How long would you have to be on an elliptical bike to burn the amount of calories equivalent to the amount you would burn if you ran for a half an hour?


Also, if i ate just vegetables and fruits, how long would it take to lose weight and see results of the weight loss combined with exercise?

i'm 14/f. i weigh like 134 or something like that. i'm like 5,2. & my goal is to be 120 by june 1st. first of all i CAN'T run?! i don't know i have asthma, and i just can't do it. and i don't know the meaning of eating healthy. i ALWAYS eat mcdonalds! uhh. is there anything i can do? i wanna loose weight + shape up my stomache, and thighs. (and get rid of cellulite, uhh.) i'll try my HARDEST to limit the mcdonald's. any advice? tysm. :)

eating plan

okay so i know how dumb and unhealthy this is but i need to lose at least 5 pounds by friday: i am going to stick to fruit and then slim fast drinks for meal supplemts...and like lean chicken and tuna do you think this will work? i know its only a 4 day thing but i have to do it

fat stomach

13/f im overweight not alot but i just hate it. mainly for my stomach its just gross. i wana get skinny but not anorexic its sick! ive been doin crucnches but i found out they make your stomach stronger but it puts muscle under ur fat!?! im fine with muscle but i was doin it so much my stomach is strong but i wana get it skinnier and normal then i work on muscles.i wana get skinney. i want my fat stomach to be normal! what exercises for my stomach to get rid of fat i no running but what else? i like running but i never can go outside and i cant inside so what else for my stomach exept running?

ive noticed that i look fatter. like usually i hold my stomach in since ive been doing that since i was little (my mom would tell me to) and i wasnt really that fat or anything but i guess there was a little weight. well now its pretty normal, especially in public places for me to do it. but like when im sitting especialy at school it gets a little uncomfortable to do that.. and ive been gaining wait for a while, like i already got my period like a week after my 10th birthday so idk if its just puberty? or im just eating too much. anyways, i wanna get rid of this fat so i can actually feel totally comfortable with myself and not worry about like "do i look fat?" im not gonna go anorexic or anything, too. um like and ive noticed th...

Would you consider it "dangerous" to consume 500 calories per day and do an hour or more of cardiovascular exercise plus crunches/push-ups/leg lifts/jumping jacks ever day?

gaining weight

14/f about 5'2

Ok so earlier in this yr I was about 92-94pounds, then around Dec I was 94-97. Now Im like 100-103. Was it just the winter months (we all gain a few pounds) or what? i really want to get back down into the mid 90s. Im starting to (ok today I started and will continue) eat better and excersise and only eating 'junk' food on the weekends.

I mean you dont notice it but my stomach is "puffy", theres no fat on my pelvic bone but my lower back is "puffier" too. (I guess im gettihng love-handles)

Is speed walking a good thing to do? I heard crunches/situps can make it puff out more. And about how long if you really commit to excersising to 3-4 days a week?

i keep eating. like, constantly. i never ever eat this much. & im like not fat atttt alllll.
but, its been like an obbession. & i try not to
eat but i feel like im starving, i mean like what i've already eaten today was like:
-2 pieces of toast
(i normally dont even eat breakfast)
-grilled cheese sandwich
-2 brownies
-& soup.

& its only 5:00.
i've never eaten that much, like ever.
whats up with me?

ok i want to buy the ab lounge but does anyone know the difference between a regular ab lounge and the ab lounge ultra? like, what makes the ab lounge ultra better? i'm just curious cause if there's not that much of a difference, then i'm just going to buy the regular one because it's $94 (the ultra is $140). also, can anyone tell me if it's any good, and do u get good abs from using it? and for how long?

in april i am going to florida and i want to look a lot skinnier. im not fat but im not very skinny. i have a membership to a gym that i usually go to but im gunna try going 5 times a week and im also on a diet. im also trying to get abs by april but im not sure if thats possible. what do i have to do to make me look a lot skinnier and possible get abs by the end of april? also what are some excersies that you would remomend?

cause when i went to japan and went to a kareoke place, i started singing some songs like mariah carey. and if showed me how many calories i lost.

extremely uneven body

13/f. you can see my ribs but im overweight. like from the bottom of my ribs and up i look pretty much anorexic i hate it i cant lift anything and from bottom of my ribs down i am very big and overweight all fat no muscle. my stomach is most of my problem. but my ass is small but all fat and my legs are just plain big. so what exercises do i do. the docter says its bad but no duh she said to exercise but how. plz help me
