I'm a junior in highschool (17 years old) and I have an acquaintance who's a guy who I enjoy talking to every once in awhile during school. He's not exactly my guy friend persay, but we like to talk to each other during school. I've sort of developed a crush on him and I'm wondering if it would be possible to take it further by asking him out or something. Any ideas?

Okay so this is the first Valentine's day that I've had a boyfriend in... a really long time. Anyways we are in a long distance relationship. So it couldn't work out that we be together. But turns up he couldn't talk to me today, family issues. I just feel so ... sad. and its valentine's day and I should be greatful right? I should be so happy that I have someone I love so much. But I just, I feel alone all the way over here. and Idk WHY CAN'T I BE HAPPY.

hello, i wanna start taking the pill im 21 and im very nervous i dont trust condoms so i have the money and everything i dont care about going to get them , the only problem is , is it really necesarry to go to see a doctore before start taking them? or do i just get them and start the process? why do you need to go see a gynecologist if in fact i need to ? im very stressed out and its not easy to get an appointment with a gynecologist cause first id have to go into general apoointment with a general medicine doctor, then they could send me with the gynecologist etc...cause thats how health system works where i live, we don't have planned parenthood things here i am not from the US, why do they say you need to see your doctor before being p...

i've had sex for the first time with my bf this weekend and went home with an AWFUL uti... we still want to keep having sex but i don't wanna get more uti's. is there anything i can do after sex to avoid uti's?? please help me out guys! thanks!

heard this guy gave this girl hpv after i had sex with him but we used a condom also his ex has hepititus c wooow but anyway so advice on what the chances are? condom was fine didnt rip or anything and i also talked to a nurse who said hep c was rarely transmitted suxually?, anyway advice? but only serious advice please thanks

Severe depression and anxiety attacks, help anyone?

f/22 I was diagnosed with severe depression 4 months ago. It started with insomnia, I had trouble concentrating at Uni, felt insecure about my future e.g. what profession to choose, and then I started having terrible anxiety attacks & was crying all the time. I had to move back to my parents because I couldn't take care of myself anymore, and at some point I was scared to leave the house. Now I take an antidepressant and something against anxiety, and I'm also seeing a therapist and I feel a lot better, but I still have those horrible anxiety attacks. so my bf and i are having sex! we just started this weekend. he popped my cherry and i was bleeding for a little and i kept spotting all the way til today. anyways, it completely burns when i pee. it hurts soo bad. and my vagina burns a lot and itches somewhat. i told my mom i thought that i had a yeast infection so she just put me on some sorta medicine about an hour ago. but yesterday and this morning my vagina irritated me so much that my legs felt numbish and weak like when your sick. i looked up my symptoms and it said it could possibly be a simple yeast infecton and thats when i told my mom.
my discharge is a tanish brownish white and i think its obviously tinted that because i was bleeding yesterday and ...

Hi. So I'm just about sixteen and I've been depressed since I was nine years. I was physically, sexually, and verbally abused, and I was also neglected until about eight months ago by my parents. I'm in foster care now, but I still have horrible flashbacks, panic attacks, and am extremely paranoid. I'm still really depressed and want to kill myself. I've been cutting since I was nine years old. I feel like everyone would be much better off if I was dead. I feel like no one gives a damn about me. I just need to know what to do. I really do want to be happy, but I don't know how! help!

20/f. With my mom, most of the time, it's either her way or the highway. She doesn't know how to compromise and when she doesn't get her way, she usually throws a tantrum. I mean, not anything serious. Just like doesn't speak to the person responsible for her not getting her way, locking herself in her room, telling people to leave her alone. I find it very difficult because I'm an adult now and I want to compromise with her like an adult. Let me give you an example. I'm in college, but I live at home. She likes to pick out clothes for me to wear to school. Not because she thinks I'm a baby but because she's really into fashion.
