Why can't I be happy???
Okay so this is the first Valentine's day that I've had a boyfriend in... a really long time. Anyways we are in a long distance relationship. So it couldn't work out that we be together. But turns up he couldn't talk to me today, family issues. I just feel so ... sad. and its valentine's day and I should be greatful right? I should be so happy that I have someone I love so much. But I just, I feel alone all the way over here. and Idk WHY CAN'T I BE HAPPY.

I'm very sorry. It's the same way with me, I have a bf, but I spent his day alone and I feel depressed all the time :( Well, I think you and your boyfriend should have a talk. You should just tell him that you feel sad (don't let this sound as if you are accusing him though) and that you don't really know the reason and that you need him :) Talking to him will make you waaaaay happier and he may be able to find a sort of solution, idk :) But i think you shouldn't just be sad and not tell anyone. If he's important in your life, tell him, and if he loves you, he'll help :) I hope I've helped you a bit. Honestly, I'm going through this right now, and I wish i could give you advice about how to generally be happy, even without him, but I haven't worked that out yet X/ The last thing I wanna tell you, after i read the part where you say that you should be grateful, yes, you should be grateful to have someone, but don't compromise. And as a matter of fact, even if it's gonna sound kind of weird, being sad about it and about him not being here shows that you are caring and that's good :)

well Just like anybody,feeling unhappy without a a valentine sweatheart is normal,yes your gratefull but frankly i think your just dying for someone to comfort you,i mean hello it's valentines day? isnt anybody just dying to be with there sweetheart,but i think the real reason why is because this is your first valentines with somebody very special *coughf* *coughf* your first valentine boyfriend who cant on certain reasons tend to you,you wanted to have your first experience on this,i understand that you miss him and aint nothing like your honey to wine and dine you like a queen, so just take a rain check besides valentine's day is just a day with a title, if you want to repersent your love than everyday you should show the person that you care for that you love em.
