Hi. So I'm just about sixteen and I've been depressed since I was nine years. I was physically, sexually, and verbally abused, and I was also neglected until about eight months ago by my parents. I'm in foster care now, but I still have horrible flashbacks, panic attacks, and am extremely paranoid. I'm still really depressed and want to kill myself. I've been cutting since I was nine years old. I feel like everyone would be much better off if I was dead. I feel like no one gives a damn about me. I just need to know what to do. I really do want to be happy, but I don't know how! help! (link)

well this is going to be hard for you but your going to need to practice into taking some time into thinking POSITIVE thoughts,look at yourself in the mirror,look at your best feuature and compliment them,wake up every morning telling yourself "Ready for my day to start because my days gunna be an awesome day" And well leading to suicide is a very bad road to lead your life.Life hs morals and reasons why we live,ask yourself what do you like/love? give yourself a something to look forward to,being happy just comes to you you cant just be happy outta know where,because it all starts with postive thoughts !I know this must be a hard road for you but you must stay strong and come up on top, don't let your violators win, it is hard but you can be strong and maybe you can also help somebody else in yous situtation. trust me there are more girls and boys that are going threw what yo wnt threw and feel the same way. they just need a shoulder to lean on. - dont let anything tear you down,ANYTHING, Overcome anything,ANYTHING. -Dont give up,good luck! AND GOD BlESS! Suicide will only make them win, don't let them get the better of you, KEEP YOUR Head UP BEAUTIFUL, remember it takes time to heal.

I have 3 juicy jackets that I need to wash...I was wondering how to wash them. I had them drycleaned back at home but now I'm in college and that is an inconvenience/out of my budget. I feel like I cannot just throw them in the washing machine with my other clothes.
Should they be washed alone, on delicates, only dry-cleaned, etc..?

here's what happened..
yesterday i didn't go to school cause i was sick, but was feeling better. since i was i decided to hang out with this guys i've been talking to from my work. my mom called me around 9 30 and i couldn't tell her who was with cause he's 24. and i'm 17 so i couldn't say. so finally i did call her back after a million calls and said i'm with my friend livy. she got even more pissed but i said i was on my way home. when he dropped me off my mom was waiting outside for me. so i had him drive around the block to go to the front of the house so she wouldn't see. but when i got out she ran to the front of the house screaming saying that wasn't livy that it was a boy, i made up something saying it was her brother dropping me off. well then she held me by the hair and then dragged me to the back of the house not letting of it. then brought me into the house pinned me against the wall and started hitting me more. she told me to give her my phone, i said no. she hit more and i called her psycho so she went WAY more crazy. i said i'm going to my dads i don't wanna be here. she said if i did then she'd call the cops. i said if she did then i'd tell the cops what she just did. she said fine get out go live with your father. so i grabbed a few items then left. then she disconnected my phone. i stayed at my dads, i went to school, cheerleading, then went out with my one friend to the mall. the night went great until i realized i needed my uniform for tomorrow which was at my moms. so my dad had me go up there and stay the night. i tried saying sorry and all she did was still yell and say she wasn't putting my phone back on. and that if im staying then im grounded for a LONG time. i just walked up stairs. i called my brother saying i wanted to go back to my dads he said to just stay here to the weekend but its living hell.
but my question is..
should i live with my mom or dad?
my mom does pay for everything.. my dance and cheerleading and phone. and my dad can't cause he doesn't have a lot of money. and i love those things. but i cannot stand my mom anymore. plus its hard to live with my dad cause of memories from my childhood cause he used to physically abuse us. but there i can at least text and call people if i need to.. at my moms now i can't.

if your moms giving your life a living hell,just like my moms doing to me at this point,then i think you should just live with your mom,because if your dad was phisically abusive to you,then things like that wont change,it might not happen now,today or later,but if somethings bad goes wrong at work hell come hom and take out on you,people like your dad take everything out based on stress,and i hate for you to make the wrong decision :/,and plus your moms different then your dad,shell get over you trying to leave her because she loves you,she cant be mad at you forever,so just deal with it- but good luck!

There is this kid in two of my classes. I haven't thought of him as a boyfriend until everyone started saying we'd look cute together. We talk everyday. I sit next to my best friend in a class and he sits across the room, yet he still manages to find a way into our conversations and she says he looks over at us a lot. I said that he could possibly like her but i've realized, in the class we're in together without my friend, he sits behind this beautiful girl that has a boyfriend, but this boy that I think likes me always asks me for my papers and what we missed when he's been out for a day. When I walk into school in the morning, I feel like he looks at me as I walk to my locker to put my jacket in there. He never seems nervous when we talk, so I guess that is a good thing. He's so cute, he's nice to talk to, I can get along really well with him. The one day after class was over and we had a few minutes before the bell was over, he walked over to my desk to talk, the conversation died down so he went to go talk to a guy and then he walked back, the conversation died down again, he walked away and then he came back again. Do you think he likes me? I'd like him to make the first move, I would never be able to tell him I like him unless I know he likes me. So, what do you think?

Well i think that guy does like you because theres a guy that acts the same way with me at my school,and i just recently found out that he likes me,but be carefull because he might just wants to be friends with you,because theres another guy that acts the same way with me,but my friend told him i liked him and he doesnt like me,so it gets really awkward in math class because i sit by him,so idk maybe it was too soon?
but anyways,you should go with him making the first move such as flirting,like if hes showing more signs that hes "into" you then i think hed just ask you out,but it depends on what kind of guy he is,if hes a bad boy then give him a month or sooner?if hes sensitive then give him some time,or just forget it,he doesnt like you,and you wouldnt want to make a fool out of yourself,right?

Is it okay to have sexual thoughts,dreams, and want to make love with my grandmother. I dream about her all the time. i know this is wrong. i would never act on it but i always seem to think about her. I have even gone to the point of asking her if she would help me with a question. when she said yes i pulled my hard private part out and asked her if it was big or not. I had a ex g/f tell me i was small and it really was hurting me. She looked and answered my question . She would never cheat on my grandpa but what can i do to make these toughts go away. (link)

Just tell yourself the complete truth,such as ; why am i thinking about my grandma this way? this is just sick and wrong,why cant i think about someone my age this way? ask yourself this and itll just shock you or in other words youll agreewith these thoughts and just leave it,just like when i used to laugh at things that wernt really funny lol itll just be very random when i just start laughing,i just ask myself why am i laughing? and i stop laughing,because theres nothing fuuny about why im laughing.haha.

well you cant really do anything,really.im guessing your hairs thick like mine,so of course its gunna knot,what i do when i get in pool,i just put it up in a bun because i cant leave it down since my hairs curly and thick,and it well knot.

18/f 5'4" 150 lbs i'm trying to lose 20 lbs. my plan for the past 3 days and weeks to come was breakfast: bowl of special k cereal with skim milk, lunch: either a spinach salad with italian dressing or a turkey, lettuce, green pepper and rach on whole wheat wrap dinner: spaghetti squash or tomatoes w/ chicken and whole wheat rice or i'll have a chicken salad with chickpee beans or stuffed peppers (ground turkey & rice). and also i'll throw in an apple and orange for 2 snacks throughout the day. and my exercise is running 2 miles everyday. I've been doing really good with this goal and was just wondering if you think it'll work and how fast i'd be able to lose the 20 lbs. thanks! (link)

well im definatly not a weight expert,but if you stay on this goal of eating healthy things everyday and gettig your average execercise,then yes! youll loose some wait,your definatly not gunna loose 15 pounds in 1 week,but at least your loosing some pounds,right?its gunna take some time,just be patient.

I am a 15 year old girl, and I'm still waiting for my period! I know everyone gets them at different times, but my mother got hers when she was 12, and so did my older sister. In fact, my younger sister, who is 13, has hers. For a few years I've been getting cramps and moodswings and headaches once in a while, but I never get my period. What's wrong with me? Well of course youll get it! your definatly not an early bloomer but when the time comes the time will come,just be patient and wait,if you still dont get it tell your at least 17 then maybe you should ask for help,but dont worry i havva friend whos exact the same but theres nothing wrong with her.

How would you guys feel if someone offered to cook you dinner in their home for a first date? I think it's awesome but some people seem to think it's a bad plan (ie. too forward for a first date). What kind of message does that send?

well making dinner sounds a little too much but do watever comforts you,some people can pull this off on the first date but it depends on how the relationship is,i think you should just go to a restraunt and save the time and worrys,go with your gut on this one ! :P

I'm a junior in high school (17 years old) and I have an acquaintance who's a guy who I enjoy talking to every once in awhile during school. He's not exactly my guy friend persay, but we like to talk to each other during school. I'm usually the one who starts the conversation, but there are times where he suddenly joins a conversation I'm having with someone else when he's in earshot. He's hilarious and I've sort of developed a crush on him and I'm wondering if it would be possible to take it further by asking him out or something.
Oh, and I usually catch him looking at me sometimes from across a room or hallway, then we both look away fast like, "What just happened?" It's odd.

I love ballet and I take three ballet classes a week which is three and a half hours of ballet, I also practice at home. I started when I was twelve and I'm in a Ballet 3 class which is before PrePointe. I wish I could take more classes a week and go to a better ballet school but my parents and I don't have enough money. I'm going to try and start baby sitting but there are tons of babysitters in my neighborhood so that might not work out. How can I become a a serious ballet student without spending tons of money? Do I have a chance at becoming a ballerina one day? What else should I do in order to raise more money to take more classes? (link)

offer private ballet lessons you said there is alot of babysitters in area but haveing a talent like that why not share it with younger kids, for example piano players spread their knowledge by teaching. i know i wouldnt mind pay someone to show my nieces how to do ballet

i just saw the room mate and i think it sums up my friend exactlyy. im a girl and shes a girl, we hook up sometimes because she always wants to. She knew me for a month and got my initials tattooed on her wrist, she stole my class ring and wears it on her ring finger, and she told everyone at her school that we're dating when we're definately not. The girl in the movie the roomate took medicine for this but is it a disease ? what do i do to stop this girl i love her and care about her alot but i don't want her to be obsessed with me like this. sometimes when you care you hold back info (the truth) tell her how you feel on a one on one and not in front of people cause she might get embarressed.it might sound harsh but if she loved you enough then she would defanetly back off a little bit becuase she would care whats bugging you,and if not then offer her help,and if she doesnt take it find a new roomate,your not forced to stay there.

well Just like anybody,feeling unhappy without a a valentine sweatheart is normal,yes your gratefull but frankly i think your just dying for someone to comfort you,i mean hello it's valentines day? isnt anybody just dying to be with there sweetheart,but i think the real reason why is because this is your first valentines with somebody very special *coughf* *coughf* your first valentine boyfriend who cant on certain reasons tend to you,you wanted to have your first experience on this,i understand that you miss him and aint nothing like your honey to wine and dine you like a queen, so just take a rain check besides valentine's day is just a day with a title, if you want to repersent your love than everyday you should show the person that you care for that you love em.
