Would asking him out be a good idea?
I'm a junior in high school (17 years old) and I have an acquaintance who's a guy who I enjoy talking to every once in awhile during school. He's not exactly my guy friend persay, but we like to talk to each other during school. I'm usually the one who starts the conversation, but there are times where he suddenly joins a conversation I'm having with someone else when he's in earshot. He's hilarious and I've sort of developed a crush on him and I'm wondering if it would be possible to take it further by asking him out or something.
Oh, and I usually catch him looking at me sometimes from across a room or hallway, then we both look away fast like, "What just happened?" It's odd.
Any ideas?

so the answere is,YES! ask him out,but do it whenever YOU feel whenevers comfortable,because who knows hes probably thinking he should ask you out also...gud luck! :P
