Depressed: I've been cutting since I was nine years old. I want to be happy! :(
Hi. So I'm just about sixteen and I've been depressed since I was nine years. I was physically, sexually, and verbally abused, and I was also neglected until about eight months ago by my parents. I'm in foster care now, but I still have horrible flashbacks, panic attacks, and am extremely paranoid. I'm still really depressed and want to kill myself. I've been cutting since I was nine years old. I feel like everyone would be much better off if I was dead. I feel like no one gives a damn about me. I just need to know what to do. I really do want to be happy, but I don't know how! help!

well this is going to be hard for you but your going to need to practice into taking some time into thinking POSITIVE thoughts,look at yourself in the mirror,look at your best feuature and compliment them,wake up every morning telling yourself "Ready for my day to start because my days gunna be an awesome day" And well leading to suicide is a very bad road to lead your life.Life hs morals and reasons why we live,ask yourself what do you like/love? give yourself a something to look forward to,being happy just comes to you you cant just be happy outta know where,because it all starts with postive thoughts !I know this must be a hard road for you but you must stay strong and come up on top, don't let your violators win, it is hard but you can be strong and maybe you can also help somebody else in yous situtation. trust me there are more girls and boys that are going threw what yo wnt threw and feel the same way. they just need a shoulder to lean on. - dont let anything tear you down,ANYTHING, Overcome anything,ANYTHING. -Dont give up,good luck! AND GOD BlESS! Suicide will only make them win, don't let them get the better of you, KEEP YOUR Head UP BEAUTIFUL, remember it takes time to heal.

I recently lost my older brother to suicide, and i'll tell you right now that leaving that way is not the answer. He thought he wasn't loved and that no one would even notice/care that he was gone. I can't tell you how wrong he was, and i know he's looking down on all of his friends and family wishing he wouldn't have left the way he did. When someone decides to leave this world by choice, it's not like the world just goes on like nothing happend, every single thing changes for everyone who knew that person. I understand where you're coming from regarding feeling like no one cares and that this would be easier, but i'm strongly asking to reconsider. I want you to trust in someone, anyone and let them know what's on your mind. I want you to tell them that you do want to live and be happy, but you don't know how to. People all around you will drop what their doing to help you out in any way they can. I would give my life to make sure my brother knew he wasn't a waste of space, but unfortuantly i didn't find out until it was too late. Don't give up. Life is so damn hard, but just look past all the hurdles and think of all the good you're going to expierence. I really hope you don't do something you regret.

I may not know you, but i do care about you, and killing yourslef believe it or not would hurt someone. it would hurt God, me and others. i know life may not be easy right now, but it would get better and see the positive of live.
1. others are death, But God allowed you to be still alive
2. I am still breathing and i have a roof to life under.
3. God loves me
Think about positives, and anytime you are having attatcks just pray to God..HE does listen.

im so sorry to hear that but you have to look at that in the way of how those people are going to feel as them knowing that they did that to a human bean and they have to live with that tittle all there life. im not saying you should but i will be sorry for them because they are the ones who will suffer. why put your self in the place of choosing life or death, thats just going to give them something to feed off of... knowing that they accomplished what they wanted.. to hurt you. feel more up about it your in a better place now, forget about the pass... and if this story is true pleas dont hurt yourself because what went on your 16 and believe it or not im also 16 and just hearing that some one would do such thing to their own child makes me sick. just focus on your life dont care about what people think about you. and get back to me for anything.....
