How do you prevent uti's (Urinary Tract Infections) after having sex?

i've had sex for the first time with my bf this weekend and went home with an AWFUL uti... we still want to keep having sex but i don't wanna get more uti's. is there anything i can do after sex to avoid uti's?? please help me out guys! thanks!
julie75 answered Tuesday February 15 2011, 2:15 pm: Make sure you're both nice and clean down there before you have sex. Definately avoid going from anal to vaginal sex to avoid cross contamination.
