i overheard that a guy i like just as friends is getting me a ring for my birthday. it is a cross ring and i don't know if it is supposed to be something more than a birthday present. i don't know if i could accept it if that's the case...what should i do?

my friend for 5 years is starting to like me (yes, i have my sources) and i don't know what to do because he asked me to prom and i want to go with some one else. if i go to prom with him, i will be sacrificing my chance to go with someone i actually like, but if i don't, im a total prick...what do i tell him?

hey thanx for the advise. its funny how u said i should kiss him and see what the responce is. just the other day i was hanging out with him and he put his hands on my shoulders. he was facing me and was really close to me. as in it was like he was about to kiss me. but then im not sure why but i pushed him. i think i got nervous or something. no one was even around. i wish i had kissed him.
do you really think i should? how when where when. when this happened was after school but part of me is afraid he will get freaked out. also if my friend, that likes him finds out i think she might hate me. i REALLY want to kiss him though. haha thanx

I really fancy this guy (lets call him J) in the year above me and I know he knows who I am and I've hung around with J and his friends, although never directly talked to him and I'm not sure whether he's interested in me or not.
Recently I went to this youth club and didn't know J would be there, but he was. When I sat down I was talking to this other guy (D) and then when I looked round as we had stopped talking me and J somehow managed to lock eyes and then we both quickly looked away. Then later, J came up to me and jokily warned me that D fancied me, I just laughed because he had made a joke like 'watch out, its dark!' but I didn't say anything back.

ok, there is this guy who definitly likes me ad i think i like him too. i have a feeling he might ask me out and i want to say yes but i know that people are going to wonder what i see in him and probably laugh and make fun of me. he's a great kid and really nice and he listens to me but he's not very attractive. what can i say to make people not bother me if we go out?

Well, I started high school this year at a new school so I didn't know anybody. But now I have friends and one that I'm really close to. He and I Instant Message all the time, flirt, hug... I can tell him personal things and he will confort me when I'm sad. he's awesome. But I love him. I have a huge crush on him. But since I knew he didn't/doesn't like me back, last night when the subject came up I said I used to like him but that I didn't anymore. And he's like, "but I liked being liked by you. :-(" I said he gave me the idea he didn't want me to like him. So we recalled an awkward conversation we had a few weeks ago that had ended with him saying, "Why does this have to affect our relationship as friends?"...

i have this friend, and we've been friends for a while now, but now im starting to really like him. so i wuz talking to his friend (who also happens to be my friend) and told him that i liked him, but not to tell anyone. i kno that was stupid because i know he'll tell him. i was thinking that i'd just go for it, so that's why i told him. was that just the stupidest decision i could ever make?

so, there is a guy in my class, and his name is Michael. i REALLY like him! he ism cute and REALLY funny and he is the nicest guy in the class. but i am sad because i know that he will probably neveer like me. i know this because i can tell he likes talisha (my friend). he alsways talks to her and hardly ever me. i dnt care that he talks to her, i just wish he would talk ot me sometimes. i talk to him alot and he talks to me bak but he wouldnt start a conversation. i only met him last here and he knows talisha from ages ago.

My boyfriend is in high school and I'm still in 8th grade; We've been close for years and we've been going out for several months. To be honest, he's got a few girls in his grade that like him, so of course they're doing everything they can to get him to break up with me including starting nasty rumors and putting down everything I do.
When we all hang out *his friends and I* no matter how nice I try to be, they love to put me down and treat me badly; So he started just hanging out with my friends instead. But I feel horrible, I wish they could just let me be. What should I do about all of this? I never did anything wrong.

ok so theres this guy in my spanish class thats a year younger than me that i swear is perfect. hes taller than me hes cute hes smart hes funny hes athletic and hes so sweet. thursday after school i was walking in the hallway when he found me and asked me what i was doing over the weekend. i told him i was going to disney world because i was going there with choir and he was like oh yea thats right you told me that. and then we walked outside and both left. when i got home i realised he might have been trying to ask me out. but im not sure. hes really nice and he could have just been making conversation. he sits right infront of me and we talk alot everyday and he will just turn around and stare at me w/ a smirk on his face. i like him alot...

Ok, so i like this guy that goes to my church. The problem is, he's 2 years younger than me. Im in 8th grade, and he's in 6th. But you see, he doesnt act like he's in 6th at all. Hes really mature, funny, and im pretty sure he likes me back. But I dont know why, but i care what other people think about me. Would it be too weird for a almost fresman in high school to go out with an almost 7th grader? I dontknow!! I dont want advice like, who cares what other people think, because I do!! I don't know what to do, Some people might think thats too young, but i dont know. What should i do??

well i just got back from a party and i saw this boy who i kinda no and we were flirting and my friend told him that i liked him which i do! then later on i saw one of my old friends and we kind of went out a while ago but he was asking people if they had seen me so i talked to him aND HE likes me!!!!! but theres one more at school thati lkke and we talk but he has a g/f !!!!!! which one should i pick??????

okay well to make a long story short me and my boyfriend broke up and got back together when we broke up i told my mom and she was happy she hates him. but the thing is we got back together and im scared to tell her she'll like go crazy if i tell her we got back together. :( she said she didnt care if we were just friends he didnt do anything wrong though sooo uhh what do i do how do i tell her? should i even tell her? hey well im a 13/f and i have a boyfriend and he's the most awsome guy ever he like always talks to me on the phone and tells me he loves me and hugs me. What can I do

So there is this guy in my 4th Period class: lets call him 'Mark'. So Mark has the most amazing smile and breath taking eyes. I think I do like him, he seems different from all the other guys, more calm and layed back but heres the catch -we never talk. But I really wish we could. I'm not great at conversation starters or getting guys attention. What can I do to snag his attention then?
We always make eye contact and I think we always catch eachother staring at one-another. Its cute but I want to move on to something else. What can I say/do? I am really oldschool I think the guy should make the first move, but that hasn't worked for me. So obviously I won't be all "OMMMGGG *hugs*" or touchy-feely with him.

I'm grounded for about 2 weeks about I'm off grounding April 4th.
That's when I'm gonna hang out with my bf.
But instead of him talking to me all day and comforting me while I can't do anything since I'm grounded..
He goes out and hangs out with his friends and does other stuff and talks to me on the phone a little.
He has his fun while I'm grounded and lonely and can't hang out with anyone.
I've been talking to my friends on the computer pretty much all day and talked to him a little because he was 'busy'.
Wouldn't it be right for him to comfort me and talk to me all day because I'm grounded??!
I don't get it..
