how do you burn pics and videos from your camera to a dvd disc so you can view them using your dvd player?
This is a really hard question to answer without knowing what kind of camera and what kind of computer you have. You probably have a program that you can use for this, but different programs are available for different types of computers. Add additional information to your question or ask another question with more information. Windows or Mac? What kind of camera?
You will also need to check to make sure that your disc drive will burn DVD's. Some can't.

The whole thing could be really, really easy, but it's impossible to tell without knowing exactly what you're working with!
after upgrade to new hot mail, my menu bar disappear. Hotmail altomatcally direct to www.bay145.mail.live.com.
I cannot send, reply, delete or logoff
Hotmail is rather outdated. It's going to have weird issues like this. Have you considered trying a different free e-mail provider? I'd recommend G-mail. You can set it up so that any messages that get sent to your Hotmail account will be forwarded directly to your G-mail account. It's really neat and you won't have to worry about having to check two accounts. You can even have all of your messages in your inbox transferred over. It's great. Really, check it out.

Good luck!
I don't understand this stuff at all. But, my little brother is like doing all this weird coding stuff on the computer & I feel likes it a illegal, since some company supposedly just paid him 300 dollars to make fake accounts. He makes fake accounts & passwords for the website or something...?
Is this illegal? I don't get it. I feel like it is, but I don't understand it, & so he thinks its wrong my parents are punishing him for it..
I just don't understand why a company would pay someone to make fake accounts...
It's possible that the company wants to get information about people from their profiles and in order to see their information, they need to become "friends" on the website. Some people add mostly anybody that adds them and it's much more likely that someone will add someone that they believe is a person rather than a company. Another reason why the company would want fake accounts is so that the accounts can be set up to spam other users. For example, the may send messages to members of the website with links that will take them to advertisements, other websites that they want them to join, things that they want them to buy, stuff like that. I'm sure you've gotten a lot of spam messages. My guess is that this is what your brother is doing because it would involve some weird coding. I'm not sure if it's illegal, but the website below seems to think so. It looks legit and gives decent explanations for most of the questions you may have. Do not take this website as the complete truth because it may not be, but, like I said, it looks like it's the real deal.

I'm using linksys router and I'm not good with computers. I pressed the reset button on the back and nothing happened.
Most of these routers have the same default username and password.
username: admin
password: (leave blank)
If this doesn't work, try the reset button again. I believe that you have to hold it in for a full 30 seconds in order for it to reset.
In the future, try using a search engine to find the solution to these types of problems. There are probably tons of people with the exact same issue that have already asked this question and gotten it answered somewhere online.
Good luck, and let me know if you can get it to work!
You answered a question on 02-23-2010 stating that they had the xox wired to the modem and to go out and purchase a router. The question was "Why does my xbox lag when other users are on WIRELESS divices. I am having the same problem as I have a router and my xbox in wired and as soon as some one goes on a WIRELESS laptop or Ipod the xbox laggs and or looses conection completely. I saw some where it has something to do with the NAL connection on my XBOX but with the new NXE dashboard version I can not find that menu and see what it is saying. They say that if it says Moderate or Strict you will have the lagging problem until you fix that. HELP how would I fix that?
Hi, it is doing that because you only have so much bandwidth. Your connection can only support a certain amount of information coming in and going out at once. A router won't make a difference and it doesn't matter if you are using wireless or wired devices, they are all using bandwidth. Wireless devices just send the information through the air instead of through a cord right to the same place. Think of it like a highway. When you are just playing around on the internet, maybe there's a car or two. When you are on xbox live, there's a lot of traffic. When you are on xbox live and downloading a movie, the road is full and things will start to get jammed up because your connection can't handle it. The only way to solve this is to switch to an internet service provider that offers more bandwidth or contact your current provider to see if you can increase it (like adding more lanes to your highway). I know that Time Warner offers better versions of Roadrunner for a slightly higher price. Otherwise, you'll have to turn off your other devices to avoid lag, I don't think there's any way around it. You must either have a really bad connection or you are downloading huge amounts of information while trying to play xbox. Either get a better connection or go a little easier on the downloading.
I am thinking about buying this MP3 player is this a good choice? and what does "4gb ET" stand for? and is this a good option or should i just buy the one with the 4gb? which is better, or worse or dosn't it matter? thanks in advance.
http://www.walmart.com/Creative-Zen-4GB-MP3-Video-Player/ip/10652332
I got a Creative Zen a few years ago and it was really nice. I loved it and I was very careful with it. Then, it just stopped working for no apparent reason. A huge waste of money. In other words, I don't trust them. They're a lot cheaper for a reason. Look into the Microsoft Zune. They're a little more expensive, but I would say it's well worth it. Much better than getting an overpriced iPod. :)

If you're still really liking the Creative Zen, they are nice mp3 players. You'd enjoy it, but don't say you weren't warned if it only lasts for a few months.
Ok my Toshiba Windows Xp is getting really slow and so I want to defrag my computer does anyone know any sites that give free defrag software and works really good if you can I appreciate it.
Your computer should have come with it...go to "Start", "Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools", and "Disk Defragmenter" should be an option. I hope this works for you!
Ok I have dial up, and I download a lot of music and keep lots of pictures on my computer. I am gonna be taking online classes soon and my computer is so slow! I have a bunch of pop ups and I dont have a virus scan, which I know is bad because of me downloading music. How much does DSL or cable cost to set up and how much is it a month?
Roadrunner is $30 a month. It may seem like a lot, but think of it this way - it's one dollar a day. That's a small price to pay for not having to deal with dial up! If you set it up yourself, it's free. I highly suggest that you do that. It's a matter of plugging in cables - VERY EASY. Plus, if you can't figure it out or need help with something, you can always have someone from the company come help you and pay then. Just try it yourself first!
You can also make your computer faster by getting rid of all the spyware that you probably have. Virus scans won't pick it up. You need a separate program. This one is great: http://www.toggle.com/lv/group/view/kl25986/Ad-Aware_SE_Personal.htm
Do a full system scan and then scan for ADS! You should then do a smart system scan once a week or so to keep your computer at top speed. You will love this program.
Even though viruses probably aren't your problem, you should also download a virus scanner just in case. AVG free is an AMAZING virus scanner. It picks up EVERYTHING. Even things that top names like McAfee and Norton won't pick up. Don't feel like you have an inferior virus scanner just because it's free. http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/
Good luck! :)
ok so this morning my computer said "low disk memory space. click here for options" and so i clicked on it and it lead me to like some disk cleanup thing so then i clicked on clean up but now my paint on computer is gone! and so is my internet explorer, all thats left is my aol explorer. i have no idea what it did! i thought it was just gonna clean up a few stuff i didn't know it was going to delete my stuff! i'm freaking out right now can anyone tell me how to get them back? i'm sure there could have been some other programs that got deleted too. & no i dont think its a virus cause it was windows that requested a disk cleanup. please help!
First, relax. You can get them back. Find the disks that came with your computer. Put them in and find those programs and reinstall them onto your computer.
When your computer alerts you that there's low disk space, it means that your computer's memory is just about full. It'll run really slow and if it does happen to fill up, lets just say that's really bad. you should always have over 1 GB of memory on your computer. You'll start having problems if you're below that. The more the better though. I would say try to get 10 GB of free space. Manually delete files from your computer. If you do the disk cleanup thing, it'll choose programs to delete that it thinks you don't need or you don't use. If you can find enough stuff to delete or uninstall on your own, that's a much better option. If you have a lot of video files or programs that you don't use, get rid of them! Then run the disk defragmenter (Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools). The disk defragmenter reorganizes your computer and moves files around to maximize space. You can check to see how much space is on your computer by going to My Computer, right clicking on drive C and viewing the Properties. If you're not sure what I'm talking about, contact a friend that's pretty good with computers and they should be able to guide you through it. Good luck!
Can ending processes (such as AIM, internet explorer, etc) instead of clicking 'end task' in the Applications tab in windows task manager be damaging to the computer? or is it all right to do?
No it's fine. It only warns you because if you end an important Windows process, your computer will stop working and you'll have to restart it. It's not a problem at all, what you're doing is perfectly ok. Any software that you've downloaded isn't an important windows process that has to be running for your computer to work right. I hope that makes sense. They only warn you in case you accidentally clicked something else. :)
Hey i need a big list of all the facebook apps or at least a lot of them, or is there a site where theres a lot of them. thanks in advance. XD
You can browse through them on facebook itself. That's probably the only place you're going to find them. Click on "Applications" on your left hand navigation, then click the button on the top called "Browse More Applications". There's pages and pages of them and you can sort them in 4 different ways. You can also get a list of all of them if you click on the link on the right that says "All" and a number in the 4,000's. :)
I used to go into chatrooms through AIM called like "P. Diddy" and other celeb names or TV Shows just to look at different peoples infos. Now you cant do that, and I know there's a website you have to go to to get there instead. Does anybody know what it is? Thank you =P
I think this is what you're looking for. :)

Ok well one of my brother's friends always looks up..you know..bad stuff (like reading, looking, watching, every kind you can imagine) and it's so gross! and we only got one computer so imagine how grossed out i am when i see someone saved something on my acocunt..
Anyway, my computer breaks down sometimes so we gotta take it to get it fixed and one time the man told my dad that someone looks at dirty stuff so my dad's super suspicious.
Is there anyone i can do to delete all evidence form my computer other than the history so that people don't think it's me who watches it?
Set a password on your account so that your brother's friend can't get onto it in the first place. Give the password to your dad just so he doesn't get suspicious. If he questions you about why you did it, tell him. Say that you don't want whoever is using the computer to look at "bad stuff" to use your account.
To set up a password (just in case you're not sure) click the "start" button on the in the bottom left corner of your screen and then click on the name of your account. It's all the way on the top of the list of options that comes up when you click "start". When you click on your account name, a window titled "User Accounts" will come up. Click on "Home" then on your account. Click "Change my password" and you should be good from there.
Good luck!
mY EYBoARD iS So mESSED Up WHAT Do i Do HElp!!!!!! im Copy & Pasten letters lol HElp mE PleASE! =\

Ok...do you have a Dell? If so to their website and there's a place where you can chat live with a technician.
If you have a laptop restart it. If it's a desktop computer, first try unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in before restarting. It probably just needs to be reset. If neither of those things work you'll probably have to contact customer service of the company that you got the computer from. I hope it starts working soon! :)
okay this might be a little bit long.
but there was a guy called ryan who is a major jock and kept iming me and saying how hott i was and kept hitting on me. He staretd to text me too. 2 days ago, i found out that it wasn't really him, and that someone else made a fake screen name of him.
I really want to find out who really was texting and iming me. I have his Cell phone number. I tried going online and doing reverse cell phone, but it would only give me the City.
My friend tried calling him but wont answer.
How can i find out who it really was?
This type of passive aggressive behavior is usually something that a girl or group of girls would do to another girl. A guy wouldn't likely pretend to be another guy just to hurt you. I might even go so far as to say that it was definitely a girl or at least that a girl was involved. I think you should just let it go. Knowing who did it won't make it hurt any less. It could end up hurting a whole lot more. If you really want to find out who did it though, you know who has your screenname. Talk to each female individually about what happened and how sad you are that it wasn't really the guy. If they start laughing, you'll know it was them.
Oh, another clue for ya. Girls can't keep things to themselves. Whoever did this to you most likely shared it with at least one other person. Probably more.
Where can I go and see wich programms start running the minute I open my computer and change them?
The answers before me were very good and I'd just like to add something. Pressing "Control-Alt-Delete" will bring up your "Windows Task Manager". Click the "Processes" tab and it will tell you everything that is running on your computer at that time. The names are abbreviated so if you're not sure what something is, type the "Image Name" into a search engine and you can find out easily. Most processes can be cancelled manually from opening at startup by looking at the options for that program and unchecking a box or something, but you can always click "End Process" to shut down a program right from the task manager too. :)
okay. I want to try find aways find not intress be on here.. please help how i start habit where i want get one only twice week, like I get one once where i just check emails and messages. other day i chat with my family and freinds. only twice week of a moonth. please give me good reasons.
Just set a limit for yourself. Say "I'm only going to go on the computer 2 times this week." Once you've been on 2 times (even if it was on the same day) you're not allowed to go back on again until the next week. It will probaby be hard in the beginning, but once you get going with it, it will be much easier for you to budget your time and make the right choices about when you should be on the computer and when you shouldn't. Limiting the number of times you can be on will make it so that sometimes you can't be on and will have to find other things to do. All you need in order to do this is a strong will, which anybody can have if they believe they can. Good luck! :)
my laptop's CD rom stopped reading all CDs this morning. it has been giving me signs, finding it hard to read CDs. Can it be fixed? I dont have money to buy a new drive. or can i connnect a desk top CD drive to my laptop. i guess its cheaper.
Your computer could very well still be under warranty. I have a Dell and when my CD drive started acting up, I contacted Dell and they sent me a brand new one for free. So, contact whatever company made your computer and see if they can send you a new part at a discount or for free. There's no harm in asking. If you're not under warranty, your drive could just be dirty and not be malfunctioning because it's broken. Blow in it a lot and it might start working. If you want to go all out, get a pressurized can of air. I'm not sure exactly what they're called, but it's like a can of whipped cream with just air under a lot of pressure in it. The air comes out really fast and is great for cleaning computers out. Remember too, that the disks you are using could be scratched and it may not be your computer at all. Good luck! :)
I get really bored online. I need something to do, to keep me entertained.
What are some online fun things I can do?
Sites? Games?
I already do myspace. lol.
Thanks!
Try Runescape. I find it really interesting and entertaining when I get really bored. It's basically a free fantasy role-playing game. Everyone in the game is a real person. It's pretty cool and it'll keep you occupied for awhile.

I broke a few-month old Dell Inspiron laptop (don't know the model) at work today. It belongs to my boss, but the company bought it. I dropped it and the lcd is all screwed up now. How much do you think it would cost to fix? what should I do? The first thing I blurted out is "I can pay for it" but honestly it would take every penny I have, and I'm getting married in May, and that money is for the wedding. WTF?
You can get GREAT warranties from Dell. Since the computer is only a few months old, my guess is that it would still be under warranty. That is, if your boss got a warranty for it, which he/she definitely should have because things like this do happen. If it is under warranty, Dell will most likely replace it free of charge. If it's not, don't tell your boss that you'll pay for it. It's not like you smashed it on purpose. I don't think that you are liable for what happened. Try to get out of paying for it if you are told to. It's your boss's fault for not getting the warranty, not yours. I have no idea how much it would cost, but I can't imagine it would be more than a few hundred dollars. Just pray that it's under warranty! Good luck!
