ok this is how it all happened... my friend morgan.. has a friend and her name is kayla.. one day she signed on aim.. and went into a chatroom and saw kristen (which is me) likes alex krug... which is one of my best guy friends..and alex is morgans ex and she still really likes him and he doesnt like her and im going out with geremy for over a month and a half.. and i dont know how to tell morgan that kayla is lying about this.. i dont like alex me and him are only friends.. and shes getting mad at me for thinking tht i do like him.. and everytime i try to talk to her bout it.. she hangs up on me or starts cussing at me.. i dont know wat to do.. b/c morgan is like a sister to me.. and i dont want to lose her.. help me please wat should i try to do to convince her tht i dont really like alex?

Since she won't listen to you, maybe you could get Alex to tell her the truth... Or maybe write her a letter?

okay heres the story. my best friend cut really bad at the end of 7th grade(were in 8th now) and over that summer. the school, both friends and the administration, was aware but she never really got any kind of help. seh always carved peoples names who had hurt her or someone who was really important to her. okay this has to coem out to. shes bi so these people are girls. one was a best friend who stopped being friends with her another was a girlfriend and one is an x girlfriend. okay sorry that was kind of irrelevent. but anyway she got a lot better after this girl broke her heart. (i know you would think she would get worse) anyway she only cut maybe three times the whole school year. i stopped really worrying about it. but then in the past week she did it really bad. only me and this other girl who cuts too knows about it. before i always could see how unhappy my best friend was but this time i couldnt really understand. nothing really drastic happened and she seemed to be doing a lot better in recent months. okay heres my dilema. she siad not to tell anyone and if i did she would know it was me and not talk to me again or at least be extremely pissed. and i know shes not lying no matter how much i mean to her. now i want to get her help but i dont know how. i dont know if she can be helped with the additude she has now.
so: do i speak up and if so who should i tell?
what would be the best help to get her?
please give me any ideas. im open to anything. and dont waste youre time if youre going to be an ignorant a** like some people on this thing.

I think you should tell someone. Be a friend and risk your friendship, you can really help her afterall. Tell someone you know you can trust, like a teacher or your parents.

That happened to me too. I told them that they need to both get straightened out because they kept tugging at me, so I left them both alone. They sorted things out on their own and became friends and we all got along... It's not very likely but maybe it'll work for you too.

Clubs and sports are the easiest way to make friends at school. Also be friendly and outgoing. Being shy will get you nowhere. Remember that in order to stop feeling lonely you must take action and not feel sorry for yourself or sad when someone rejects your friendship. :)

My best friend(we'll say lucy) is going to prom with this kid(we'll say nick). Well recently they got into a fight because nick went out and picked up our other friend and brought her out to lucy's house after we had asked him to. Well we promised that we would give him ten dollars gas money, since he was low, if he did this for us. Well lucy has been practically obsessed with nick for the passed two years but he won't give her the time of day. Before lucy and i started talking i had dated nick and it was actually through him that lucy and i became aquainted. Lucy and nick are both seniors and lucy's dream was to go to her senior prom with him. Luckily thanks to the help of her friends, nick agreed to go with her. Well when lucy worked her ways nd talked nick into leaving without that gas money, he got really mad. (because he was on E when he got home) And the reason she didn't give it to him was because she didn't have change for a twenty. When nick got home he txt messaged me to tell me that he wasn't going to prom with lucy and this really upset her. Then another fight broke out because I have been talking to him AS FRIENDS and some of lucy's other friends don't see this appropriate. But when i don't talk to him, everyone gets mad at me and yells because they say there is no reason to hate him just because he broke my heart. So me, trying to be the peace maker, started talking to him civilized once again and now we're friends. (NOTHING MORE)Well he called me today and we got to talking. I begged him to reconsider taking lucy to prom because i know how much this means to her, nd he said: "Hmmm, i have an idea". Well this idea isn't any good :( AT ALL-- He agreed to go with lucy again to prom on one condition; if i sleep with him. He has been bugging me to sleep with him for the passed 7months because i turned him down the two times we were together. I know I can't do that to her even though it would get her to prom. And i don't know how to tell her because it would devastate her. But what if i tell him no and he wont go to prom with her? Then i will feel like this is all my fault because i didn't betray my friends trust.. I'm so hurt and confused-- please and thank you for listening to me babble!!

You shouldn't sleep with him just so he'd take Lucy to prom! Lucy would probably be more hurt if you had to bribe and sleep with him to have him take her to prom than if he didn't go with her. You should tell Lucy what's going on and why she should go with someone else, like someone who actually likes her and respects her.

Theres a girl at my school (not my friend but i talk to her) and her boyfriend recently broke up with her. She's heart broken and feels that she isn't good enough. Now she wont eat..shes refusing to eat and its scaring everyone. She is dropping pounds by the second and is always depressed. I really want to help her, but I don't know her family personally enough to tell them. Should I let her suffer? i would feel wrong not telling anyone.

You should tell someone, like a trusted teacher or her parents. If you don't want to personally tell her parents, write them an anonymous letter.

see i have this friend that is like bulimic & i tell her to stop but she never listens to me. i tell her that she is skinney but she doesn`t believe me. we have known eachother since we were small. she also talks painkillers & i kno its dangerous but she told me not to tell anyone...but i think she might die..she is already in rehab & is very sneaky..

If you really care for her well being than maybe you should consider telling someone, like a doctor or a caring parent. It might mess up your friendship, but atleast she might get helped that way. Good luck.

ok, well my two friends ALWAYS fight. and this time it's about depression aka attention. anyways, my friend (we'll call mandy) had depression all this year because of guys. every single one that she liked, didn't like her, but my other friend (call her taryn). taryn has always been pretty popular,and now has a very popular boyfriend. anyhow, back to the real story. when mandy told us that she had depression, i was the only one that comforted her. a girl (call her sam) was mandy's best friend since like 4th grade. and sam didn't even say anything positive when mandy told her about her depression. and now, like a week ago, taryn told everyone that SHE was depressed. and when she told everyone, sam was like all over her asking if she was ok and stuff.so, sam made it seem like she only cared about taryn, and not mandy whom she was friends with much longer. this is confusing, but important. they are fighting and both of them are asking ME what THEY should do, and I don't even know what I should do. plz, anything constructive will help! i rate 5's!

I think you should really be there for Mandy since she's less popular, without a guy, and had an old friend betray her like Sam did. I don't think you should ignore Taryn or anything, but it seems like Mandy can fall deeper into depression in her situation. Good luck. =D

there is someone who keeps logging on to my screen name! I think its one of my friends but everytime i ask her she denies it! the last question "i" asked i think she did. u kno the acting question. That question is totally inaccurate! I stink at acting let alone boast about it. She is in my acting class too so thats why i think its her.
