i also have a friend that is bulimic she wont listen to me either. i try to help her but shes really private and acts like she doesnt do it anymore but i know she does. i would sit down with her and have a serious talk about her situation tell her your genuinley worried about her and want her to stop doing this to herself she cant get mad at you then

If you really care for her well being than maybe you should consider telling someone, like a doctor or a caring parent. It might mess up your friendship, but atleast she might get helped that way. Good luck.

I am so sorry about this. You have to try telling her that shes hurting herself, and really..last resort.. you have to tell her parents. You cannot let her die. You have to tell someone. Good luck, and with the right guidance your friend will recover ♥ Don't be afraid that she will get mad, she probably will, but she will thank you in the end.

Okay, first of all, are you completely positive that she is? If you are, then you have to get her off the pain killers and to a doctor FAST! She will probably be mad at first, but when she's 'okay' she'll forgive you and possibly thank you for helping her. after that just be very alert and make sure she eats, and see if she has red marks on her pointer and middle fingers, thats a sign that she has been making herself vomit. She might hide it in plastic containers in her room (i just learned this stuff in health class), most likely in her closet or under her bed. If she goes back to acting the same way after you get help, you need to do it again because she had a relapse. Be sure to stay by here side and always be there for her and comfort her. Do not be afraid to confront her and tell her how bad it is to have an eating disorder. She could die, or less majorly, be increasing the chances of having organ problems or diseases. Eating disorders aren't fun, so you have to do something for your friend. FAST! hope i helped

Your friend is on the downward spiral of addiction. Just because it's not drugs don't think for a moment that Bulimia is not an addiction. It is caused by poor body image initially, but the binging and purging give her a kind of druglike satisfaction and high. She thinks she's in control. All you can to is speak up. I know you want and need more help, but only someone else close to your friend can help you. Talk to her parents, explain how she's cheating the system that is trying to save her life. I wish I could do more for you. Good luck and lots of support!

like the other people said, you should tell somebody that can help your friend stop. i had a friend who was bulimic and by telling someone, you can make your friend realize that sticking things down her throat is bad for your health and you wouldn't want to end up in a hospital or rehab or w/e just because you couldn't control yourself. make her realize how much you care about her and how much it'll mean to her if she stops. hope i helped

You need to tell someone. Even if she says not to. By not telling someone you are hurting her even more. She needs serious help. If you think she might die, why hesitate? You will be saving her life. I hope I helped! ♥ good luck
