My bro is in iraq and its hard to deal with cause one of his friends was killed and the other one shot last week. how should i deal with it?
It must be so hard to be going through this right now. I honestly can`t imagine what you`re going through. There is no exact way to get over it and deal with it, but you have to talk about it, don`t keep it bottled up. Confide in a family member or very close friend, and if you can`t express your emotions through them, get a journal online or for you to write in for just your eyes. i dont feel myself lately. i dont like me. i cant sleep. i cry for no reason. im really mean to people around me. this year my grades went from A's and B's...to all F's.

Don`t feel ashamed or nervous on how to tell your mom. Just do it. Once you do it, you`ll feel sooo much better. Just sit her down, or when you are alone with her, say "Mom, can we talk?" And explain that lately, you aren`t yourself and how you truly feel. Your mom will support you in every way - you`re her daughter. Just do it, get it over with, and you`ll feel SO much better. I'm 13 and my brother is 15. He picks on me a lot and sometimes makes me mad but i love him very much. I just wish we were closer. I try to talk to him but he don't talk to me much. How do I get my brother and me to be closer?
I think that it's probably just the age, and even though he might not talk back, he is definitely listening to you. If you want to try to be closer, I'd recommend something that you both enjoy- maybe a day at the boardwalk, water sports, or just simply hanging out and watching your favorite movie. My parents fight a lot and my best friend keeps telling me that they're going to get divorced, and it really hurts my feelings. I don't think that they are going to get divorced because I know how they act around each other, but it just hurts my feelings when my friend says that. What should I do?
I hate to sound rude towards your friend, but it's really none of her business. All couples fight, even the ones who seem to be perfect, it's completely normal. Next time she says that, I'd tell her that I don't like it when she says stuff like that because she really doesn't know the true story or reason, and quite frankly, it's not her concern. Unless your cousin is a sympathetic person, she probably won't stop, and thinks its funny how upset you get. My advice is to just ignore it, this is pretty confidential anyway and really no one will ever know, or you can try talking to her, she might not realize what she's doing, she might be trying to "help". If your sister says no, and her friends say yes.. I'd believe your sister. Her friends might be jealous on her looks or if she's very skinny and doesn't eat alot. She might have a fast metabolism. Talk to your sister and observe her habits. If you see her not eating alot, throwing up, gagging herself, etc.. then tell someone like a parent, or try talking to her about her problem first, because it's not healthy and she could die from it. ok.. well mayy 22nd is this crossfade concert that REALLY want to go to. im 13 (f) lol and my mom wont let me go because of the place that its in. its called toads place its in new haven connecticut (kinda ghetto but not really} and i need to convince her to let me go, because she doesnt understand how much that i really want to, their my fav band and blah blah blah.. so what im asking is how can i convince her to let me go? thanks for the help! ashley
I doubt you will be able to convince her, she seems to really care about you, just realize why she is doing this, especially because of the areas. Maybe she could..go with you? I mean, she could just sit there and you can still have a great time seeing your favorite band live. Or, you can maybe see if theres other tour dates at a different location. Hope I've Helped! ♥

Oh My GOd! My sister is so annoying, She Wears my clothes, wakes me up at 5:00 on the weekends, hits me, puts fake worms in my bed, Steals my C-D's, and my parents do NOTHING about it! HELP!
She probably really looks up to you- sisters can be annoying but in the end, they are worth it! Sit down with her and ask her if she'd like it if you did that to her. She probably doesn't realize what she's doing- believe me I've battled with a younger cousin lol. Hope I've Helped!

I have tons of cousins but one of the families-which i am closest to live in NY. There are 3 Vayia who is out of college owning a dance studio, Karin who is a sophmore in college and Stefanie who is a senior in high school. I'm in eighth grade and i have 2 older siblings. Whenever we go to visit them they always butt me out and hang with my sister the whole time. Obviously it's because they are closer in age but i want to hang out with them. Everytime i go i try and act more mature but they still leave me out. Help me
They probably look down on you as "the little girl". They also probably don't realize what they are doing, so you should really tell them that your not a little kid, and you'd love to join them. Most likely, they probably don't know that their hurting your feelings. Or, you can try inviting them to do something with you that's really fun, and they'll see what a great person you are! Psh! She shouldn't be all stuckup and thinks shes better than everyone in her family. I would totally say something, believe it or not I have to someone in my family once about something different, and I felt SO much better afterwards. omg my parents are so annoying. they are constantly on my case about ANYTHING. for example, i got a 95 on a tuff quiz. they were just like blowing it off. and keep in mind im almost failing that subject. They make a big deal out of low grades but when i get a high grade they just blow it off. and when im home alone, they CONSTANTLY keep calling me like every 5 minutes. and now i sprained my ankle and they keep telling me to do everything normally. i hate when they call because your probly thinking"they call b/c they love you" but no thats not it. and my dad always tries to play around but he just doesnt know when to quit. and if i forget to do like the simplest thing, my mom flips out at me. my parents just are so annoying. How can i make them less annoying? if that makes any sense?
they probably don't realize it, so i'd advise talking to them and telling them how you feel, its worth a shot ♥

im 14 and my sister is 17. she has a boyfriend that shes really close with and a just got a car. shes supposed to come every other weekend but since she got her car she never comes. shes always at her boyfriends and if she does come she just leaves anyways. i really love spending time with her and i miss her a lot cause i never see her anymore. i know that shes older and doesnt want to spend time with her family, but i still do. what should i do? i dont know if i could really talk to her.

Grr, I hate this! My family hates who I am and what I am. They want me to be just like a prep and shit! I so totally don't want that. I'm a full on metal head and I usually never go to church since I made my communion. They listen to Ja Rule and all this pop bitches like Britney Spears and Hilary Duck...and freaking spanish songs. I hate that shit and like I don't know how to tell them to fuck off and let me be who I want to be. Some one help and no fucking lables please, no freaks or else I'll laugh in your face!
Your family has to accept you for who you are. Don't ever let them try to influence you! Explain that you are your own person and you are not them.
