The other day when we were at the mall I saw this really pretty ring and told my boyfriend I really liked it. Later on he asked me what I wanted for christmas and I told him I wanted that ring.

Last night he called me and said, "Is there anything else I can get you other than that ring, because I don't really feel comfortable giving a ring to you" I was really surprised, he said he didn't think it was a good idea because "rings usually mean something else."

I honestly wasn't thinking it to be a "Promise ring" or anything like that, I just really thought it was pretty. Now I'm sort of hurt, not because he won't buy it for me,(and I know its not a money issue either) but because of what he said about not being comfortable giving it to me. I don't know why but it makes me doubt our relationship, and I'm upset about it. What should I do? Should I try to talk to him about it, or would that just make things worse?

OK well heres the situation.. Mike was being all nice and sweet to me. I known him for a good year and I liked him last year and he liked me. Lets just say wrong move by me and I never got my chance with him. Well now this year we have a class together and we flirt like crazy. Well just recently my uncle fell ill and so Mike put "hope your uncle gets better sara" in his MSN Personal Message space. Well he's like my support system when I'm down. I always tell him he's the bestest and he says you are too. So basically it feels like he's into me but thats where I got lost I'm guessing. We had made plans to hangout just didn't know when exactly. Well we still haven't set a date yet but we know what we're gonna do and he seems excited. Like he was like
"Can I go into A.E while we're at the mall?" and I was like
"Yes of course, but can I go into boathouse while we're there?"
And he said yeah of course and that we'll go together.
Basically he lights up my life(sotospeak) But now I'm confused by him. His p.m read what I said up there and well my family came over and so I was downstairs with them so I was on msn as away, so I never had the chance to see him sign in. Well when I came back up his p.m said "get better soon nicole." Which I understand that his friend is sick and all and thats fine but what I don't get is, when I changed my status to online in a matter of 5 seconds he was away and then next time I looked(about 10 min later) he was offline.

I know I didn't give enough useful information for the question I'm about to ask but please make do with what I gave.

where to start. I've never really told nebody about this, but my best friend knows. alright, well, I met this guy online, and we became great friends, and one day he told me that he loved me. and he gave me the day, and I realized, I loved him too. Well, this guy... has to be the sweetest male alive, I love him with all my heart, we talk about everything, now, the problem is, he lives in South Carolina, and I live in california. I'm a country girl, hes a city boy. well, our diffrences dont bother us. comming in march, will be our 4 year anniversery. another problem, hes turning 20 this month, and i'm only 15. again, we dont view this as an issue.
we talk online practically 24/7, he stayed up till midnight califonria time for me last night for new years. we've sent letters back and forth, talked on the phone, we've done a ton of things. well, he wants to meet the year I graduate. well, theres two problems.
1. My Mother. she is the most over protective thing EVER. though my oldest brother had an online girlfriend in PA, and visited her for his graduation present, but they knew about his gf. buuut they dont know about me and my bf.
2. my religion. I'm mormon, and i'm not supposed to date until I'm 16 (this september) and i know for a fact my mom wouldnt approve of him. he doesnt approve of my guy friends, any of them over the age of 16, little lone 20.

though I do think i'll have some more freedom by then, I dont know if it'll work. plus, after hs, i'm planning college and a mission...and more college. by the time we can really settle down, he'd be like 32, and yes, we've planned all this out, and hes upset with that idea, but I dont know what to do!

2. since hes upset about him being the age he would be, should I just drop off like, going on a mission, or a few years of college? should i just go to an out of state college, and move in with him?

3. Do i keep this stuff from my parents? they once got into my e-mail and found a ton of e-mails from him, and i was practically dead meat, I blocked his sn and deleted his e-mail off my list in front of them, and they stoppped bothering me, so what he did was change e-mails and I unblocked his sn, that was 3 years ago. I have a boyfriend who I have been going out with for 4 months now and at first he was so sweet and really nice to me. Over time he started getting mad at the littlest things,, like how I dressed or did my make-up. He would call me a whore or a slut and other things, and about a month after that he bcame abusive. He would always loose his temper and hit me. Never in front of anyone though, and he just got worse and worse but I never told anyone. So after school yesterday I tried to break up with him, he got so mad and punched me. He said if I ever tried to break up with him again I would regret it. I tried lieing to him, telling him I tripped and fell but he wouldn't by it.(I'm guessing my black eye gave him a hint) He asked me if my boyfriend did this to me and I said yes. He lives close to the school so he asked me if I wanted to go to his house to get cleaned up and I said yes. When we got there he helped me wash the cut and everything and we started talking. He asked me if it was the first time my boyfriend did this to me and I told him no, then I told him everything. For some weird reason I trusted him. He walked me home and when we got their he hugged me and then he kissed me. He said he would take care of my boyfiend. I ddn't really know what he meant but I let it go. I was to happy he kissed me. I was late to school the next day, but when I got their I was just in time to see the fight between my boyfriend and the other guy (Lets call him Matt). They were broken up by the police officer. Q: I met these two guys (who happen to be roommates) in one of my classes back in October and the three of us have become really good friends. But I've started to develop a little crush on one of them, and we flirt constantly. People have made remarks about how we act like we're already together (due to the constant bickering and teasing that occurs) but I also realize that people are just people, and they don't really know the situation. People tend to be wrong about those things anyway.

The three of us work at the same place, go to school together and hang out pretty much every day, outside of the previous two. But Lee, the one that I'm starting to fall for, and I have hung out a few times alone, and we have the best time. We always end up resting out heads on each other's shoulders when we watch tv/movies, and recently he's taken to tickling me as his new method of winning our arguments.

At the same time, he has a girlfriend back home (we both moved away from our respective homes for college) that he's been with for 5 years, and so I'm really not sure what to make of any of this. My head tells me that I'm just setting myself up for a big fall, but there's something about the way we are when we're together that just makes me feel like it's right. he's the most genuinely nice guy I've ever met (let me tell you, I've met some real keepers...) and the fact that he can always make me laugh (and vice versa) is a plus as well. I guess I just don't know if I should trust myself when I think that this feels right.
