falling for a guy over the internet!
first off im 16. ok so a few days ago i met this guy on facebook. we started talking a lot, and then talking on myspace. we dont live like anywhere near eachother but, i really am starting to like him! he is only like a year or 2 older, super cute and funny. and hes so sweet. we have a lot in common too. i mean im not too worried hes gonna come and rape me or anything haha, i havent said many personal things, and he seems like a good guy, im even talking to some of his friends. we talk a lot, and it seems hes starting to like me haha. please dont say omg be careful he could be an old creepy guy haha. i am just wondering, is this weird? whenever i talk to him i cant help but smile. am i weird to feel this way? haha thanks.

Hi. Well for starters I dont think its weird to start liking someone you met on the internet. But think about it everybody seems nice on the internet. I think you should really get to know him because he might not be what you expected. Either he can be the nice guy you think he is OR be some crazy man who talks to many other girls and just wants to have fun on the internet.

its not weird. you like the way he talks to you. this has happened to me soo many times. i know you said not to tell you to be careful, but you should be careful. ive met people over the internet before and theyve been who they said they are.. but that isnt always the case. but the thing im going to warn you about is..(and i know this from experience) most people dont act the same online as they do in person. you may meet this guy some day and im like 99% sure he is not going to be the person you thought he was.

No its not weird. It just means that you really like him and that is completely normal. Meeting people over the internet is becoming a common thing. One of my best friends met her husband over the internet and her sister met her boyfriend of 4 years over the internet and started out just like you described. The way you're feeling is normal. You've met someone that you have feelings for so of course you're going to smile and feel good when you speak to him.

It is kind of weird, kind of not
You are falling for someone you dont know, who could be someone dangerous. I know you know that.
Also, you have never met him face to face, only talking online. You dont really know his personality by reading something he types. You know what i mean? YOu cant see his emotions or anything like that. Which is what makes it weird.
