Hi, I really hope you can help; i've gotten mixed responses from others...

Basically, my BF discovered that in my senior year of college (I graduated last year) I had taken two semesters worth of judo classes and he thought this was really funny b/c I don't look like, I guess, a "typical" jock chick--that is i'm not muscular or buff or whatever...i'm your stereotypical "girly girl" in appearance--tall, skinny, blond hair, blah blah blah and I'm like 125 lbs....so he's laughing at me, calling me "judogirl", etc., and I was fine w/all that, if a little annoyed, but then he made a mistake: he challenged me to a wrestling match...and I beat him.

He outweighs me by like 40 lbs. and is pretty strong but he didn't understand that my judo skills would use his strength against him and he just couldn't believe I won. I figured it was a one-time deal, but he was so bent out of shape that he's challenged me several times since then, and I've defeated him every time. It would be OK if he didn't take it so seriously, but he just becomes this mean pouty jerk when he loses and keeps challenging me and now i've refused to wrestle him b/c it's no fun and I hate his sexist attitude as well. But refusing to wrestle just makes him angrier and he says stuff like "you're just afraid i'll figure out your 'tricks' and win...it's so annoying!

I've considered just faking it and letting him win but I don't REALLY want to do that b/c I'm proud of my skills, and just wish he would be too...plus when he baits me w/all this "you're just a girl" crap, it gets my goat and i'm more than happy to throw him to the floor and pin him when he gets too tired to fight me off...

Have you ever beaten a boy at something athletic--whether martial arts or sports--or know a girl who has? B/c maybe if I can tell him he's not the only one he won't feel so bad... (link)
Hiya,
Sorry this took so long, my computer's been down.

Of course I've beaten someone in arm-wrestling. Your looks or size have nothing to do with YOU.

ok me and my girlfiend have been dating for 5 months now so the other day me and her had sex and she was giving me head and stopped so i put my dick in her and we was getting it on well i forgot to take it out and i cumed in her and it was alot i told her like right after i did it and i told her if she got pregnant that i wud b there every step of the way i just want to know if she is pregnant or not this was writtin 10-21-2007 and we had sex 10-20-1007 also im 16 and she is 15 does that effect anything and it was alot of cum because i felt it like shoot out 4 timees while i was fucking her but she stoped and put her pants back on n stuff and we kinda talked but then we both noticed that it was a lil wet in her pants by her vagina area does that mean all the cum came out since that night her stomach been hurting and she been getting tired alot im nervous please tell me if she is pregnant or not (link)
Well, within a day or two it's impossible to detect a pregnancy. It'll be weeks before anything would come out positive on a test.

It's very possible that she is, but its also possible that she's not. Being as young as you are, you should talk with a parent about your options and decide what to do. It's great that you said you'd be there for her, but at 15 many health care professionals will not recommend the baby be carried due to the underdevelopment of a 15 year old girl's body.

Stomach pain is often a "side-effect" of sex, and will fade away soon.

After having sex for the first time, I didn't feel chronic pain though it hurt for only a small amount of time when the penis was inserted inside the vagina. After a while, my vagina starts to itch and I examined it.. it contained white cottage cheese-like substance inside my vagina. I'm not sure whether the sex or lack of lubricant around the vagina area caused this. I don't know.
And also, I'm not sure if my hymen is broken or not.. I'm not quite sure how to tell. (link)
Hiya, sorry this took so long.

What you described is perfectly normal. Pain after/during your first time should be relatively minimal and last for a short amount of time.

The substance inside of your vagina could be one of three things: discharge, semen (unless you used a condom,) or an infection. If it's either of the first two, there's nothing wrong. You'll be fine. If it's the third one, then you need to see a doctor. If it's gone away since you sent this question out, then don't worry about it.

Since it was your first time, sex is usually a little uncomfortable and dry. A lubricant would help, but it wouldn't have anything to do with an increase of discharge. The vagina naturally produces the discharge to help wet itself down to prepare for intercourse. It shouldn't have anything to do with what you described.

Chances are, your hymen is broken. Not always does it break, but normally it will. That's, most of the time, where the pain during your first time comes from-- the tearing or breaking of the hymen. Some is assosiated with allowing the penis to fit inside you comfortably. A simple pelvic exam can tell you for sure, but your boyfriend can probably tell during sex whether or not it's broken-- he'll be able to slide into the vagina easier.

Okay, so that was long. But I hope it makes up for lack of speed answering your question. Sorry about that, I'm usually pretty good.

Hi - I was wondering about a couple of things. If my boyfriend fingers me, am I still considered a virgin? Is it when my hymen breaks that I'm not considered a virgin or just when i have sex for the first time? Also do guys have a natural sense of what to do when it comes to "sex play". Because my boyfriend and i were making out, and then he started playing down there, and i didn't mind cuz he's my boyfrined, but is it just natural for them to know what to do? or do they find it out from their friends/ siblings? 17/f (link)
Common question.

In order for you to lose your virginity, you have to have intercourse. A girl's hymen can break during all sorts of non-sexual activities.

I think that yes, guys have some sort of a natural sense during sex, or even sex play. I'm not familiar with any studies on it, although there most likely has been, but just from experience I guess, I'd say yeah.I'm sure friends and older brothers have some factor into it as well.

hi i am 20 years old and me and my boyfriend always have sex and sometimes on accident he precums in meand it happened a couple of times. the last time i had my period was on november 1st and it is now jan 10th am i pregnant
(link)
Pre-ejaculatory fluid has no sperm in it, and in that case, you cannot get pregnant off of it. If your boyfriend ejaculates inside of you, he releases semen, which has sperm in it. The only way for you to become pregnant is if one of his sperm fertilizes one of your eggs.

There's a few reasons why you may not have gotten your period. One, if you've had sex since then, without protection and he ejaculated inside of you, then theres a chance you're pregnant. Two, menstrual cycles can change due to stress and other related problems. If you still don't get it within a week or two, I'd suggest you visit a gynecologist.

okay if i am on birth control can i still become pregnate if a man cums inside of me? i was scared so i peed right after. im so upset that he did not tell me the condom broke. will i be okay or do i need a ECP? (link)
Yes, you can become pregnant if a man "comes" inside of you while you're on birth control. The pill, patch, or any other method of BC you're using is not 100% effective. Nothing but complete abstinence can keep you from conceiving. I got pregnant with my daughter while on birth control. It's entirely possible.

If he didn't tell you that the condom broke, that's a problem. You two should be communicating at all times, for your health and safety.

You should be alright, if you're also on birth control. It's a good idea to use a condom as well though, like you did.

HI i am 22 and my girlfriend is 20, we have been together for 2 years. My girlfriend wants me to cum inside her. What does it mean? Does she want to get pregnant or Does she want to keep me? She says that she just wants to feel it (link)
It means she wants you to ejaculate inside of her. I'm not sure whether or not she wants to get pregnant, that's something the two of you should discuss together. Basically, she's asking you to release your semen inside of her body, instead of using a condom and having that catch anything that is ejaculated.

I stumbled across this site by accident. I seriously doubt many of you have the qualifications to give real people proper advice. After reading some of your responses to people's inquiries i was quite astonished as to how teenagers find they are able to give quality advice and information to real people in need with such little life experience. If you ask me you are not in a place to give your "personal opinion" when people truly believe you are giving them the right answer simply because you claim "people think i give really good advice". (eg. i am still at a loss as to how a 17 year old girl thinks she can give advice to someone regarding conceiving a child) I know you try to come across as a "godsend" to poeple who are in some sort of personal crisis and need a fast easy answer but the truth is, in the cases where it really counts, there rarely is one; at least not from you. (link)
I'm 25. Not 17. As a matter of fact, answers that younger columnists have given to the same questions as I have are excellent. Most are things I'd say myself.

And the concieving a child thing. How many teenage mothers are there in the world? Look it up, I think you'll be surprised.

Don't come on here looking to start something.

on the vasaline it says not for internal use... could you still use it internally as in anal or vaginal sex? (link)
No.

Use KY Jelly or a lubricant specially designed for sex.

okay so im going to see the gynecologyst for the first time and im soo nervous. like i dont know what they are going to do to me and are they able to tell if your sexualy active? (link)
You have to remember something. The doctor does this all day, every day. To him/her, it's nothing.

I'd rather not get into the whole exam right now, but if you'd like an explanation, email me at madalyn987@yahoo.com

My mom wants me to visit a gynecologist...but I'm scared...(and I'm only 14!)..
Will my doctor tell my mom that I'm not a virgin??
...I dont want my mom to know yet... because I am too young for it...and she won't trust me!!
Does my mom have to be in the room with me??
And since she wants me to go does this mean she thinks I'm sexually active?(even though I am)
I'm scared...HELP!! thanks. (link)
This is a toughie. By law, it's up to you whether or not you want your mom in the room while you're examined. Also by law, even as a minor, your health is confidential. Anything non life-threatening that you ask to be kept between you and your doctor will be.

Chances are, you've changed since you've become sexually active. Your behavior and mood are most likely different, and your mom may have picked up on it. The only way she'll find out is if you tell her. She's going to know eventually, so pick a time when you're having a good time together, and bring it up carefully.

Good luck, and if you need any other help, you can email me at madalyn987@yahoo.com.

I was wondering, if you use lube the first time you have sex, and when your hymen breaks, will lube get into your bloodstream and if it does, what happens? And also, does it hurt much less with lube, like, you don't really feel it? I heard that it hurts really really bad, so I was wondering if there is any way to avoid it. Thanks! (link)
Hi there,

Your question is very common. First of all, no, when your hymen breaks, lube does not enter your bloodstream. You don't have to worry about that.

Second, it's not that the hymen breaking will be less painful, it's that the experience itself will be more comfortable. "First timers" sometimes have a problem with natural lubrication of the vagina, and a lube just helps that. It's made to help the penis slide in better, I don't know how better to explain that. You can also purchase pre-lubricated condoms.

The breaking of the hymen differs for every girl. It's not always that painful. Some girls don't even feel it.

Be careful and use a condom, okay?

I have the Camera Nikon 780 and i develop my own pictures, but whenever i develop my pictuers they come out in circles (there is like the picture in a circle and the rest is black) can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Thanks sooo much! (link)
Make sure your negative carrier is properly inserted.

i have a lot of discharge. its almost everyday and even when i wear a panty liner it'll go through so it looks like i peed my pants. i can't wear a pad everyday because, you just cant. so i was wondering if there was anything causing an excessive amount of discharge. im a virgin but i do masturbate. so could this be a factor? (link)
Masturbation cannot cause discharge to thicken or increase in amount. It's simply a way to pleasure yourself. There's nothing you can really do about the discharge but wear a pantiliner, unless you go to the doctor and get examined. You could have an infection.

Most likely though, it's just natural to your body. The masturbation can cause a change in the amount of lubrication WHILE your masturbating, but it won't do anything otherwise.

I'm not very familiar with sex or anything to do with it, and i just had sex for the first time. I was just wondering..is it normal if ur nipples dont get hard? because i heard that they r supposed to..and that they even turn brownish. but that didnt happen with me. so now im all nervous that i might be abnormal. thanx! (link)
It's normal. All women are different, and differences in sexual pleasure and arousment can occur.

what's roleplay? (link)
Do you mean sexual roleplay?

I figure there's two different types of roleplay: sexual and nonsexual, in my mind.

I am 25 years old, i am currently on birth control (iud) is it possible that i can be pregnant, my last menstrual was 11/03/2006 (link)
It is, if you've had unprotected sex and are late on your period. Birth control, whether they advertise it to be fool proof, is not. There's always still a chance for and egg to become fertilized. My advice to you is to see a doctor for a pregnancy test instead of a home test.

Since your last period was over a month ago, I'm assuming you ARE late. Get tested, and find out for sure. My daughter was concieved while I was on birth control, so I know for a fact, beyond medically, it IS possible.

19 year old male

alright, ive been dating my girlfriend for about almost a year now. I am a virgin and she has been honest with me and told me she had sex once a while ago (she is 18). Well we are somewhat orally and hand-ally active. One day a few months ago i actually ripped her hymen fingering her and it happened again once a few weeks later, not since though. I used to be good friends with her ex boyfriend who walks around telling people how they used to have sex all the time and whatnot (hence the "used to be friends"). But she told me she had never had sex with him. I was just wondering if it was even possible that they did considering i broke the hymen. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch! (link)
It actually is. A girl's hymen doesn't always break during sex, just like it CAN break during other activities. I wouldn't worry about it. If the two of you have been honest with each other, and you can trust her, don't let it come between you. Also, I noticed you said that it happened twice. Once the hymen is gone, it's gone. Are you sure you broke her hymen? What did it feel like? A girl can bleed no matter what, it may just have been sore. Get back to me on that. If you'd like, you can email me at madalyn987@yahoo.com.

me and my boyfriend are both virgins. we tried having sex the other day but it hurt way too much so i stopped him. i know its supposed to hurt ur first time but is there any way to decrease the pain.. or should i just stick it out? (link)
Well, the pain that comes with losing your virginity is mostly the tearing of the hymen. You have to stick it out. The hymen almost always has to tear for a penis to be inserted comfortably into the vagina, and as with any ripping of skin, it'll hurt a little.

Have your boyfriend slow down. The pain can be eased slightly if you're on top, lowering yourself onto him. That way, you have control over how fast or slow you go. Once the pain subsides, you can flip over so you're on your back, or just stay how you are.

If you have any other questions, you can e-mail be at madalyn987@yahoo.com.

Well me and my girlfriend have been together a pretty long time now and we both care for each other more than anything. Well we are BOTH virgins but we are sexualy active with one another like not oral but with hands and stuff lol. Well the only thing we are worried about is when we do actually "do it" that i will hurt her and i want to know how i may NOT hurt her or just ease the pain of hurting her. Please help me. Thanx (link)
It's probably going to hurt her a little, there's nothing you can do about that. To try to ease the pain, use a lubricant. It'll be smoother with less friction, but it'll help keep her comfortable.
