this is more directed toward the guys...
i am in my highschools marching and concert band. is this a turnoff for most guys??

Well I'm in marching and concert band and play the flute, and all the guys I know don't think of it as a turn-off. My boyfriend even thinks it's cute, so I wouldn't worry about it. Hope I helped!

14/f__ i was just asked out last night by the guy i liked...who obviously likes me back. he asked me 'wanna go to the movies on sunday?' i said sure. and you kno how everyone puts like 'guys name 1/2' - something like that to signify that they're going out. well, my question is: what would i put in my profile? like do i put the day he asked me, the day of the actual date, or do i wait until more dates? like i dont kno since...well...its my first. yes u can laugh. hahahaha.....and also if we stay together for a few months or what ever...how do you kno what day the '# month anniversary' is? i would ask my friends..but i dont really want to. haha

Well, I'm not gonna lie, I'm single, but when I was goin out w/ my ex, I put the date that he asked me out in there, along with the "I luv u". I never put hearts in there, but that's a cute idea! And the 1-month and 2-month anniversary is exactly 1 month after he asks you out. So for you, the 1-month anniversary would be February 13th, then March 13th and so on.. hey ok well i am 15 and i am in love with ym best friends little sister. i have known her my entire life and i have never thought of her as more then just like a litte sister i guess but her bro is like rele protective of her how do i ask her out without making him pissed and risk hurting my relationship with either of them or theirs with eachother she has been acting wierd around us when i am over there adn she doesnt hang out with us as much and she has a bunch of guys that r just friends that r over there all teh time too adn i feel weird like i suddenly become all protective like her bro! please help

If he doesn't want you going out with his sister, then don't. Friends always come before relationships. It sounds like you really like her, so I hope things work out for you. my boyfriend abuses me. but its only because i killed his cats. yes i did, and ate them. and i am scared to dump him bcause he will kill my dogs and they are a big part of my voodoo ritual. i used the cats for sacrafices. what do i do? yes i am a little wierd i guess....but i need hlep.

Ok my girlfriend and i dated for 8 months. We brokeup about a month ago. Tonight i threw on my game face and "madeout" with a girl. I feel so guilty because im still in love with Kate. Any advice you could offer would help me out, i guess my quesiton is should i feel guilty?

Well, that kind of depends. If she broke up with you, then no, I would not feel guilty. If you broke up with her, then maybe. It's good that you're seeing other girls. That will help you get over her. If you do feel guilty about it, then that's ok. That feeling should go away over time. If you just can't seem to get over her though, then I think you should talk to her about it, and hopefully you'll have a second chance with her. Flirting is basically like trying to let a guy know you like him without actually telling him. Examples of flirting are looking at him in the eye, complimenting what he's wearing, hanging around with him as much as possible, and maybe even dressing to impress? Haha, you get the picture. i am with this guy and we have been seriously disucssing marriage. we both want to get married to each other and we want that badly. more than anything else. we are about to move in together shortly, but my question is, if we are planning it and things, but he hasnt actually ASKED me "Will you marry me" and all that shit. so are we considered engaged or what? i am a bit confused. he wants to wait to actually ask me until he can buy the perfect ring and all that cutesy stuff. but until then are we considered engaged or not...i know its stupid but i cant figure it out. i will rate all answers that i get, i promise! Hey hun. You know what? That just happened to me. And we broke up, because we never saw each other. But he really loved me (or so he said)and I didn't love him back, I just really liked him. But if you LOVE him, then you shouldn't break up with him, and you have to know if he loves you, too. Because if it's a long distance relationship (or if you just never see each other for some reason) and you love each other, then you can work it out. Do you call each other? If you don't, you should! And every day! Maybe talk to him about the problem try to come up with solutions. Try to see if your parents and his parents can talk to each other and decide on something and make plans, like a movie or something. I think it sounds like he likes you, but I'm not sure. Just try flirting with him, and see if he flirts back. If he does, he likes you. You could also ask one of your friends to ask one of his friends if he likes you. If a guy likes you, he'll try to be with you as much as possible, maybe directing his conversation to just you and not the rest of of the group, and some guys try to put their arm around your shoulder. I think you should invite him to go to the movies with you. Ask him to bring a friend, and bring one of your friends. And just flirt and see what happens! Good luck! ♥ Erin

I've been married for 20 years & never have, and never will cheat on my husband.
A single younger man where I work started flirting with me. He basically expressed his attraction towards me, which was extremely flattering. I let him know right away that I would never cheat on my husband. He seemed to accept this & we have continued to commincate throught our email at work & a couple of coffee breaks.
I have really enjoyed the flattery - I'm 48, he's 37. Once I realized that he really wasn't just trying to get me into bed & truly liked me as a person - I felt great.
He's extremely careered oriented & doesn't have time for a comitted relationship at this point.

I just don't understand why when I started flirting back with him, why he has backed off. I liked the flattery, and am hurt. He started all this.

I simply don't understand why he is reacting this way, I don't need a lecture on why this is unhealthy, I already know from the way I feel.

I think that when he 1st started to flirt with you, he didn't know you were married, but once he knew and saw that you were flirting with him, he might've been wondering why you were flirting with him, since you said you'd never cheat on your husband. When I was ill recently, I really relied on my partner, and he was wonderful at looking after me. I've told him how thankful I am and how much it meant to me, but I'd really like to show how grateful I am and am really stuck for what would be appropriate. Would a card or gift be tacky/inappropriate? I saw a book I know he'd enjoy, but it doesn't feel quite the right way to say 'thanks' for all that he's done.

Basically, I'm just looking for opinions - should I get him a small token like the book, or is it more appropriate to just talk to him about it as I have been doing?

I think that you should believe him. If he says he likes you, then he does. Remember that trust is really important in a relationship. And try hooking up Kalysta with one of his cute friends so you can double date. :)

Hey. Really, I don't think there's such thing as an easy break up. But the best thing to do is to be honest with him. And let him know that you still want to be good friends. He'll be hurt at first, anyone would, but he'll get over it. this is a stupid question but i'll ask it anyway. What should you tell a guy if he ask you if you're a virgin? Evereyone is telling me different. some of my male friends tell me that you should defenetly tell them that your a virgin because all guys like the girls to be like pure and clean and stuff (i dont know, thats what they tell me) and that if your a virgin they will like you more because it will be like a big deal for them..you know, to get a virgin to lose her virginity is big, it will make them proud of them selves or something. Well, I'm not a guy, so I'm not sure what they like. But my current boyfriend is thrilled that I'm a virgin. (not sure for what reason though). Really, I don't think it matters. Just tell him you're not a virgin. Every guy is different, and if he doesn't like you because you're not a virgin, then he's not worth your time. Sorry if I couldn't help much, but again, I'm not a guy, so I don't know what they like most. Just remember that they're all different. Seriously, just tell him you're not a virgin, and I bet it won't matter one bit. Good luck!
