Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. Ok I just got my braces off (Yay!) and my teeth are SO straight! It looks SO much better, but I'm kind of worried because there are a few places that are like SUPER white on the outer edges of a couple teeth. What is it? Is it normal? How can I get rid of it? Thanks!!!
It's spots where you may not have been able to brush well enough. It could be other reasons, but that's most likely it.
I definitely had some spots like that and my dentist is fixing them for me. Yours should be able to do the same.
Unfortunately on my part, I'm in college right now, so I can only go to the dentist when I'm home over long breaks.
Make an appointment with your dentist to see what he/she can do. If not much, you can probably go buy some whitening strips.
