Hey Everyone :) I'm Kate and a level 2 mod on here. I've had this account since July 2004, so I've been on here since I was 13! Wow ... crazy for me to think how long ago that was. I will admit I don't check in as often as I once did, but being away at college, being in a sorority, and having a job when I'm not at school is very time consuming. I still try to help out as much as possible, and if you send me a question I WILL answer it. This site helped me a LOT when I was in high school and had a lot of questions, and I'm here to help anyone who needs it :) Feel free to write in my forum or send me a question any time!

does anyone have any ideas for a halloween costume for a 13 year old (me)? stuff that is original and an outfit that i can put together myself. (example:last year i was a football player)

and i dont want to get it from party city or stores that have the costume already made up, because everyone gets it from there and i want to be original.

EDIT: I'm a girl, too. Halloween is all about dressing up as something crazy & something you're not. Dressing up in a "girls only" costume is no fun. I guess it's because I'm older than you and in college, but most of the girls in my dorm are dressing as a guy character and most of the guys are dressing as girl characters. We want to have fun this year.

All you need: Long sleeve red shirt, blue suspenders, mustache, red hat w/M on it, and I'm wearing white sneakers.

Honestly, I picked up the shirt & suspenders and a local Goodwill. Under $10!
I'm getting the hat and mustache at wal-mart this weekend, and I already have the shoes.

Simple, cheap, funny, people WILL recognize you.

If you want to match with a friend, Luigi has green wherever Mario would have red :)
