Q: Whenever I'm alone, I keep thinking about how bad the world is and writing dark poems and stuff. Once I nearly cut my wrists with a sharp knife. Do you know any way to help me have a brighter outlook on the world? Thanks. -Elie
Okay, don't cut. It may seem like a good way to feel better, but it's not. Believe me been there done that. It's good to keep writing. It expresses your feelings in a non harmful way. I advise you to talk to a friend or a family member, whoever you feel comfortable around. Or you could talk to a professional who can help you have a brighter outlook on your life. You should really think about what gets you so upset though. Then you find the root of the problem. Well good luck with whatever you choose to do. Stay safe!
