Hey guys,
My older sister wanted to know if a snake can grow it's head back if it gets cut off. She thinks that she heard that somewhere, but she's not sure. It seems to me like she's thinking of a worm or something lol. Her boyfriend was telling her that snakes can't grow their head back, but she was saying that they can. I wanted to find out for her. Someone answer please!!!! Don't make fun of the question either, because I'm not even sure if it's true. I sort of think it's true, yet I don't think it's true. If your nice, and you give a good answer I'll rate you!!!! Thank you so much! :-)

Snakes have spines and brains. If they're brain was disconnected from their spine, then they would die.

Worms do not have spines. They are completely different species even though they still have the long wiggly aspect of them.

So, no, a snake cannot grow it's head back when if it gets cut of. It can only succeed in dying.
