hi, i am a sophomore boy and i have a crush on a freshman girl in my basketball class. i have had a lot of aim convos with her, many in person convos, and ive called her twice. i hear she has a bf and apparently, theyre in love. i dont want to be a third wheel or anything, and im sure shes not slutty or anything. what should i do? ive tried keeping low and playing hard to get, but it doesnt seem to have any positive effect, so im talking to her online and a little bit in person. should i ask her out (not ask her out to be my gf, but ask her to hang out) or what? Yeah I think you should wait until they are broken up. Maybe she likes you too and is just afraid to tell you or something? You never know. I think you should hang out with her. I think you should tell her you like her too (if you didn't already). Good luck!

I've been trying to be a good singer lately. I went for lessons but they did absolutely nothing. I've been singing everyday after school for the past 3-4 years. It's the only time I can because I get embarassed. We had a school musical and when I had to sing to tryout, I choked. But before that, I sang for this girl that wanted to hear me and we both agreed I did good. So bottom line: How can I become a better singer and get over being afraid. (link)

Hey, I heard you shouldn't eat any dairy products. I hear that milk makes like flem (sp?) in your throat, so that will like block the diaphragm and your voice won't sound as good. Some people are just naturally born with the unfortunate loss of being able to sing well. Drink alot of water and eat healthy. And when you are singing in front of people, pretend like they aren't even there! That should make you less nervous. Good luck.

My good friend is really mad at me I asked her what she thought of one of our guy friends and I thought she said she liked him. But we were in the hallway and I guess I didnt hear right. I told this guy friend because he likes her somewhat. well it turned out that i was wrong and he told her that i told him and she immed me and was cursing me out and stuff. I tired to explain to her that i missunderstood and that i was sorry. She then told me that even if she had i had no right to tell him and that she wont ever tell me anything again. She wont even talk to me. I feel really bad about the whole thing. What shud I do?

Aww, don't blame it on you. You misunderstood what she said! She shouldn't get mad at you over that. That is stupid stuff. There are better things in life to argue over. Just give her time to cool off, she needs it. Maybe she is doing it for attention, because she is being a little over dramatic about the whole thing. All you can do is apologize, which I don't think you should need to since you have already done so. I mean she will forgive you eventually, it was a dumb thing to even get mad at you over to begin with!

I have always had this crush on a boy named Riley and so has my friend Anna. But then I realized that Riley was to young, so Anna and I gave up on him. But now, I have a crush on a boy named Camden, and I didn't tell Anna because I didn't want her to "win" him. Hey it sounds like your friend is insecure. So insecure that she has to steal her friend's crushes all the time! Don't tell her that you like anyone. But, I would talk to her and tell her that you don't like how she is when you like someone. Good luck!

sometimes when i pop my pimples, they turn into dark spots. some of the dark spots last for like a couple of weeks, but others seem like they're permanent.
i'm currently using neutrogena vicibly even moisturize wit spf 15 and neutrogena acne mark peel, but they dont seem to be working well...
is there anything i can do or buy that will help me get rid of the dark spots faster?
oh and also, are they permanent???

Best thing to to stop popping them! That just makes them more noticable and can even cause more to pop up. Pro Activ works well. The spots can be permanent depending on how hard you squeeze so be careful!

I'm involoved with a married man and have been for two years now. We started out as just friends and the relatonship evolved.He's scared to leave his wife because they share two children together. I'm very much in love with him and want to be with him. Lately I've been feeling he's been wasting my time because he hasn't left her yet and I feel he never will. Homewrecker. If he is with his wife, why are you bothering? If he was in love with you, he deff. would of left his wife for you. They have two children together and obviously he cares about them. There is nothing really you can't do. I would suggest that you forget about him because it doesn't seem like he will leave his family.

That whole he is best friends with your brother part sucks. Tell your brother that you both like each other. Maybe he will be mad at first, but he will get over it. Then maybe the guy you like will go out with you, since your brother already knows!

Well, if it is your first time tanning, make sure you still have spf in it or else you will get burned! At the tanning salons or whatever you want to call them, they usually have tanning packets that you can buy. Australian Gold and California Tan are good.

Ok, listen up, as most of you know this school year is just about over right exactly so in the beggining my grades was all coo, but then third quarter was horrible check this I had five f's man. So My step-father told me that he was 1oo percent postive that I wasn't graducating I'm in eighth grade. so I was like i am graduacting watch you'lll see and he was all pissed and shit he's not even my real father, i thought he was was but then he got a Dna to see u know so now like a week ago I got my report card it was not great but I had 4c's 1 b and 3 d's the school year isn't even over I have time to bring them up and he told my teacher yesterday at conference April 18, 2005 that he;s gonna flunk me because i had all year to bring my grades up but ok I'm not veryy very smart plus I go to a private school and its way harder then public school which i used to go to and get straight A's plus I'm a black gurl and i think the teachers are raciest but still he;s not my bibiliogal father he can't flunk me what should i do only one month of school left i want to tell him also that i don't want him to think that I'm his daughter, and I'm fourteen so also do you think I'm old enough to decide? Well anyways also I have been workin so hard when I was in the hole with f's teachers and my parents said i need to work garder when i did and proved to them i'm capable he gon go say I think you should repeat eighth grade and my mom didn't say anything just left it up to him to decide who is he to tell me i don't even live with Harold he is my moms boyfriend for like 14 years and I called him daddy because I was used to sayin it since I was little but now no I don't want to what should i do? I'm also gonna tell him cause forgett what he say i'm going on that stage

Well, I think that the school should have the option for you to pass or not, not your stepfather. Talk to your mom and tell her that you don't like how she just lets your step dad choose if you get to fail or pass even though you were trying hard. Good luck.

Seems like he likes you if he flirts with you and can talk to you about personal stuff. I would tell him you like him and then he will probably say it back. That's the only advice I can give you. Or, you can ask him who he likes.
