Asc answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 12:48 am: Better yet, you could start a command prompt and enter 'chkdsk /f', then enter 'y' when it asks if you want to run it on next startup, then restart. Then, you should be able to defrag. [ Asc's advice column | Ask Asc A Question ]
hiddenmeaning answered Wednesday April 20 2005, 12:04 am: virus= very yes... just reformat unless you can find the corrupted file and manualy delete all of it... including hte hidden files...its prolly easier to jsut back up all your junk that you want and re format...
