You should figure out what the file is. Hunt it down, and delete it BUT ONLY IF ITS NOT USEFUL TO YOU! If its in a system 32 folder or system folder, dont not remove it. If its a game or some other useless thing then remove it and it should be fine. ]
Then run chkdsk. Should be in the same place you run defrag from. You should always run chkdsk before you defrag, as it will find corrupted files first. ]
heyy .. you probably have a virus or something is wrong with your computer you should go to the place where you got oyur computer and ask them for help
hope i helped

Call the place your computer was manufactured.

Better yet, you could start a command prompt and enter 'chkdsk /f', then enter 'y' when it asks if you want to run it on next startup, then restart. Then, you should be able to defrag. ]
virus= very yes... just reformat unless you can find the corrupted file and manualy delete all of it... including hte hidden files...its prolly easier to jsut back up all your junk that you want and re format... ]
