Ok, you see I just hooked up with my ex-bf that I havent seen since I was 8. BUT, before we went out, this other guy asked me out at the pool, i said yes. But I know I'll probally never see him ever again. But I want to know if Im cheating because Ive never cheated in my life. If I am what should I do? SHould I break up with my bf I havent seen since I was 8, or forget about it because I know I'll never see the guy who asked me out ever again.

Hm. It wasn't exactly the BEST thing you could've done, but now that it's done and overwith, there's no point in bringing it up. If you'll never see the guy again, and don't plan on doing any more hooking up, I'd keep it to yourself. Good luck :)

i\'m 14f. and theres this guy whose moving state pretty soon, and we want to see each other before he goes. before school ended we almost went out, but then he backed down, then wanted me back. i made out with him a few times. hes almost 16. he said he wants to have sex and make some memories before he goes. he said hes having a leaving party, and there will be alcohol and his parents r gone. but i dont know if i\'m ready or whats gunna happen. i\'m just worried about the consequences and stuff. dont say \"just tell him your not ready\" cuz i would be except for what could happen. i just need to talk about this and need opinions.

Don't do it. It's a really big step, something that will carry with you for the rest of your life. If you're not positive that you're ready, don't do it. You'll regret it. Aside from emotional consequences, theres always the chance you'll get pregnant, however small that chance is. If you're not ready to deal with the potential consequences, don't do it.

I can't swallow pills and so i usually cut big ones in half or something, but these new ones i got taste AWFUL without the coating on it and because it's cut i can taste it. it's so bad i cant even take them, are there any ways that you can like mix them into something so you don't taste much of it? thank you so much

What I usually do is stick it in a brownie (you don't have to use a brownie specifically, obviously, but it works for me), have a glass of water ready, and take a HUGE bite of the brownie. Be ready with your other hand to take a HUGE gulp of water to wash it down. The taste really is overwhelming, so make sure that once you swallow it, you have a decent amount of food or water with you to guzzle down immediately after you swallow it, just to get a new taste in your mouth.

I need help. I cant make decisions on anything! i hav no favorite anything because i cant decide what my favorite thngs are. I can never decide if i should buy somehting or not. sometimes i will be in a store for an hour deciding whether i should get a shirt or soemthing. i also have no idea what i want to be when im older. i was wondering if it is like, a disease or soemthing. someone please help me! everyone else just decides on things, i feel stupid cuz i dont even know what my favorite song is. this is really becoming stupid. just help, please?!?!

Haha, don't worry, I'm exactaly the same way. I can spend half an hour viewing myself from different angles in a shirt, decide I dont want it, come rushing into the store 20 minutes later, dying to have it, and then return it later because I changed my mind. My career goal changes practically every month. And don't even get me started on those stupid myspace surveys. I can spend 10 minutes deciding on my favorite ice cream flavor.

Sorry, that whole paragraph was really boring. But the point is, it really doesn't matter. So you don't prefer one song over the other. So you like to save your money for something you really will like. There's nothing wrong with that, it just shows you're a careful thinker and don't like to rush into things. You're normal :)

I when over to my friends house, (A). She asked if it was ok if she smoked in front of me. I said no, it's ok, i guess. When she sis, i just stared. I've heard of smoking, duh, but never have I seen it two feet in front of me. So, stupidly I asked to try. (A) said no. I kept asking out of curiousity, knowing that it'll still hurt me. Finally, (A) said, ok. I tried it and it was terrible! I hated it. I started coughing and choking. Well, after a cuple mintues Me and (A) sat down and watched a movie with her soon to be step brother. He pulled out a cigarette after a while and smoked. He offered it to (A) and she took it willingly. Then he took it back and smoked again. (A) told him to let me try again. I said no. (A) said hey, you know you want to. I said no. (A) kept saying you know you want to, so I tried again, but i didn't inhale it. (A)'s brother caught me not inhaling and said, "Hey, you didn't inhale!" I felt emmbarressed, but gave it back to him. The next day when I woke up. (A)'s brother came back in the room smoking again. he offered, this time I said no and gave him a look that said no, and that's it. He never asked again. What should I do? My friends are acting funny around me now because I told them. PLEASE HELP!

(A) and her brother are being extremely insensitive and irresponsible by delibrately trying to get you to smoke. You tried it once-- okay, a lot of people do. But you're smart enough to realize that it's stupid and dangerous and gross. (A) should get the message and stop bothering you about it. Your friends might just be weirded out that (A) is an avid smoker, or maybe they're just slightly surprised that you tried it. Make it clear to them that you definitely wont do it again and they should be fine. As for (A), never let her manipulate you into doing something you don't want to do. There's nobody that you're trying to impress at her house. If it keeps happening, and you're uncomfortable with it, invite her over to YOUR house, and tell her there's no smoking allowed in your home. Hope it works out ;D

i don't know what to wear for my sister's graduation...
they said dress fancy but obviously not steal the grads' thunders by looking more fancier than grads
but i do have this nice black cocktail dress that i barely wear, but just have for occasions like this, should i wear the dress with heels or just go casual in jeans or shorts? help plz, thanks~

If it's a simple little black dress, it should be fine. If you want to dress it down a little bit, try pairing it with sandals or flats. And a not-too-fancy bag. Don't show up in sweatpants or anything; you'll want to look nice, but not like you're trying to hard to look fancy. Either way, there'll always be people more underdressed and more overdressed than you; you should be fine =]

My mom is kind of weird in my opinion. First of all she judges my friends a lot and I dont like it at all! Second she si always giving me advice on my period. Im 13 and I never had it. Shes always telling me "oh its going happen soon i can feel it!" and she asks "do your breasts get tender?" and stuff and I dont like it! If I tell her to stop, she will ground me and say that I was trying to boss her around. Can someone PLEASE help me?! Thank you so much!

My mom's the same way-- she's always judging my friends, and even though she's right sometimes, it gets extremely annoying; she doesn't have the right to do that. What you should do is, the next time she says something about "Jane" or whoever, casually say "Yknow, Jane's a really good friend of mine,". She should get the message that you don't like hearing stuff about Jane.

With the period advice, she's probably trying to connect with you more and make sure youre comfortable talking with her about it. I know it gets annoying though. Next time, try saying something like "Oh, well, I hope it's not coming soon... I don't think it will," and just change the subject. Good luck :)

my friends are yelling at me alot for saying i'm fat, but i really do think i am.

Is there any good book you recomened? I love sad books, and I'm 13, any ideas?

Someone under me recommended 'Go Ask Alice'-- it's very good, i'd definitely also recommend it. It's the supposed real life diary of a young girl who gets addicted to drugs and her sad story.

I just read "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold-- it's really good, it's about a 14 year old girl who was raped and murdered, and her view from heaven on everything happening back on earth surrounding her death. The reactions of her family and friends, the search to find her murderer, her sister trying to move on.. Very sad, made me cry at least =/

Well, I see alot of people win lotterys every day are so. I want to know if I was to play everyday is there a chance of winning like the megamillions those type of things.

What did everyone think of the ending of the Sopranos?

I didn't actually see it, but got the gist from others.

I think it was a good ending; it definitely keeps people in suspense and lets them decide how they think it will end.

Except if I was a Sopranos fan, which I'm not, I know I'd be pissed. I hate books that leave me at a cliffhanger, even if it really is a good literary technique =/

How bad is it to cheat? I mean we always hear about it being the lowest of low, but I have friends who've had sex with other people and their boyfriends forgave them. Is it really all that big of a deal? My boyfriend is in Europe with some attractive girls that are always crushing on him, I've pretty much accepted the fact that he might cheat because I know how flirty he can get without realizing it. How bad would it be if I cheated, just kissing or so? I would like to know, so I'll be prepared to react in the right manner if anything happens by either of us.

Personally, yknow, it's not as bad as murdering anyone or something, but it's probably the worst thing you could do in a relationship... When you cheat, it shows that you aren't really that serious about the person you're dating and don't really care what happens to the relationship. If you think your boyfriend might cheat, there's clearly a lack of trust between both of you and you should definitely work that out/talk about it. Hope it works out ;]

According to McDonald's website, a coffee has zero calories.

Ok so with summer starting and school approaching in August I want a new look. I don't want to be the image I am now. I want to have that hot & sexy look. I don't want to look trashy but I want to look sexy. What kind of clothes should i wear? I want short skirts, short shorts, cleavage you know. Have any ideas where i should shop? Okay, don't listen to talkalot, what she's describing is extremely trashy. Since you're going into summer, it's okay to wear short shorts and skirts, but don't overdo it. You don't want the reputation as the slut who can't keep her boobs inside her shirt. If you want to look cute and 'sexy', try Abercrombie. But honestly, purposely dressing sexy so the boys will notice you is pretty trashy. Good luck, I'm sure you'll find a good midway point =]

Is playing a video game for a few hours bad for your eyesight? Or watching television for a few hours or playing on the computer? I think it is but how much damage does it do to your eye?

If you're constantly on the computer, especially sitting really close to it, your eyesight will be affected. Same thing with the TV. It won't blind you or anything, it just causes mild shortsightedness.

Spending a few hours playing a video game won't have any long term effects. But if you spend hours playing video games every single day, then yeah, maybe.

My nose is kinda big, and it used to be normal, but it seems like it grew a lot. I'm 13 now, and my mom says this is an akward age, and I'll grow into it, is this true?

Yeah, you're 13. It's an awkward age, everything's changing. People make fun of my nose too, it's really weird and shapeless, but it won't be like that forever. As you get old your facial features will change along with your nose.

My hair sounds kind of like yours. I had my semi last week. The lady at the salon straightened my hair, and then put in really loose banana curls at the bottom. It looked really good; something like this:

If you want to be a little more formal, pull back a semi-thick strand of hair from each side and clip it with a fancy barrette in the back.
