My friend moved out to Colorado a year ago. I'm 15/f and he was my best friend. Yesterday he told me he had sex for the first time. Which is totally different from when he lived here. He never would have done it. I understand that he changed because of the different people. I get that. But, its just the fact that sometimes, when I talk to him online, he's drunk. And alone. When he's sad, he tells me he WANTS to be drunk. I'm afraid I'm going to lose my best friend.
What should I do? Just get over it?
If it's possible, you should meet him in person and talk to him face to face. It's always better, because you can't lose him. He can't run away when you're right there. Ask him what's wrong. Tell him you really care about him and you worry about him. If none of this works, please get him help and tell him to talk to someone. Maybe it's just his new neighborhood? Maybe he's just trying to fit in around there? Tell him that that's not important. You want his old-self back. He was so much better then. If he doesn't listen, again, get him help. when you're multiplying 2 numbers with a exponent do u multiply the 2 numbers and then square that or square only the number the exponent is over and then multiply by the other number. -2(-1) with a 2 over the -1

You only multiply the number that the exponent is over. Then when you get the answer, you multiply it by the other number (which in your case would be -2). If you need anything else, just ask me. I'm in Alg. 1 also. Good luck.

Okay well i was walken downtown with my 2 friends today and this druggie/badass was down there and he called over this geeky guy called Josh and all of a sudden he starts beating him up! i was so scared i didnt know what to do.. he almost started to cry and before he left he said im callen aaron (the cop in our town) and my friends r like dont tell him we were here. im afraid hes gunna tell the cop and he'll ask me and somehow it'll get back to the badass and he'll beat the shit outta me .. im a gurl btw and he hits girls and stuff and he like knows how to set up bombs n shit cuz he put a bomb in our school one year.. if the cop does ask me shoudl i say i witnessed it?

You probably just aren't comfortable with your dad talking to them all the time. Nobody wants their parents around all the time, you need some freedom. So just tell your dad that you like having him around sometimes, but not all the time. And don't worry too much, your friends obviously like him :)

Well, first figure out if you like him. If you don't, you have to tell him that. If you do, then decide which one is more important: a friendship that can last forever, or a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship that will most likely end later on? Because if you decide you want to go out with him, you're taking a risk of breaking up and losing your friendship. Again, if you don't like him..when you tell him you have to make sure he knows you still like him like a brother and you want to be good friends. If you are both mature enough, you could probably still be friends after you have broken up (if you go out). Don't hurt his feelings, he had the courage to ask his best friend out :)

My friend is going out w/ this boy. When he asked her out, he said that he didn't want to tell anyone. I'm the only one they told. His friends tease him because they hang out so much. Um...okay, I have to wear a helmet to ride on rollerblades, a skateboard, and a bicycle. It sucks. I was wondering if anybody knew of a way I could convince my mom to let me ride without a helmet, because mine is really big and it has this visor, and I don't really need one. Just get a plain helmet, without a visor or anything. They don't look THAT bad. Okay, I know, everyone hates wearing helmets. Just answer a lot of the public questions and maybe people who are getting your advice will realize that you are good and start asking you questions. Add a bunch of people to your favorite columnists so they can notice you and add you back! It takes awhile, so just be patient. Good luck!

If you're having trouble writing songs, just get out a piece of paper, and write down what you are thinking. Whether it is about relationships, friendships, family, school, problems, etc. Have your friend do it also. Then when you are done, try to come up some good lyrics with all your thoughts put together. Good luck writing + singing!

Hi, I'm 14 and a freshman in highschool. As you know I would have to start thinking about a future job and what I would like. I have 3 things chose. 1) A crime scene investigator 2) a teacher or 3) an interior designer ... now with # 1 I can't stand blood thats coming out of the body in large amounts, would I usually see this if i was a CSI??
Yes, I am pretty sure you would have to. When you are studying it, you will most likely have to see pictures of crime scenes also..which won't be too pretty. So if you don't think you can handle it, I would suggest not getting into it.

This might be confusing, but do you know how when you ask a question, and under my questions, you can now delete your question? Well I deleted one that I asked, and now I'd like to atleast look at it, because I want to figure out the date I asked it. I remember the title of it, but since I deleted it, does that mean it's gone forever, like, what about the people that answered it. Because there were like over 20 people who answered. okay i just started my period. I have a few questions.
a)if when you put a tampon in, and in 6 hours later when you take it out. and theres blood on it.but when you wear a pad and you take it off, and theres no blood. is this a period?
b) can you bathe with tampons in?

d)it acually hurts when i insert a tampon, could it be that i forgot to take a previous tampon out?

A. Confusing question, but when you wear a tampon/pad and theres blood on it later, thats your period. No blood = No period. B. Well you can swim while using tampons, so I guess you can bathe with them. But I would recommend taking them out while bathing. Swimming you should wear them though. C. Not sure about this one. D. If you forgot to take the tampon out, that is a very bad idea. You can get sick if you keep them in, so don't forget! You might also be putting it in wrong. ALSO, because the first few times you use it, it will hurt, so you'll eventually get used to it. E. Cramps are when you get like pains in your stomach or your side because you are on your period. You can also get them when you run a distance too. The exact definition for cramps (that fits with this) is: "Spasmodic contractions of the uterus, such as those occurring during menstruation or labor, usually causing pain in the abdomen that may radiate to the lower back and thighs." F. It is actually healthier to wear pads, but most people wear tampons. Most people don't like pads, they are not that comfortable. G. Yes, if you are having sex during your period, it is possible that you can get pregnant. H. Yes it is, because you can get pregnant, and other reasons...

Hi, I'm 13 and 4 months and I havent ever gotten my period... :(. Anyway the last week-ish i've been noticing stuff and I think it may be coming soon. I am eating A LOT, like the equivilant of about 5 full meals a day. My skin is going from oily to dry to oily to dry and back to oily again, and I have more pimples than I've ever had before. My boobs are extremely tender too. Discharge isnt an issue, I've been having that all the time for like a year and a half, and it's the same as always.... what do you think? Might it be my time??
Ps- today i'm also a lil sick, like congested, but I think thats an outside issue, i dunno if it matters, oh well.

No matter what you do, or how bad you act, your parents should never hit you. Go to another trustworthy adult, such as a teacher, school counselor, or a friend's parent. Tell them what's been happenning. Your parents need help, seriously. You dont sound like a bad person, so they should NOT treat you like that. If worse comes to worse, and nobody can help you, call the police. I wish you the best.

It's okay! I'm sure you'll meet new friends at your highschool. But you can ALWAYS keep in touch with your old friends! Get their screennames, phone numbers, addresses, emails, anything! Just tell him that you weren't sure what to say the other night, and you didn't want to make the wrong decision. But now you have really figured out that you do like him.
