So after I left she got my AIM screen name from one of my friends and went home and asked me to the prom and and asked if I would go over to her house Friday to have dinner and a movie and all that stuff. Can you tell me this? Why is it when you roll a ball down a...half pipe shaped thing, the ball slowly is stopped by certain forces right. Well, why is that when theres an equal ammount of gravity helping the ball down, as there is preventing it from going up. Why doesn't the ball continue to roll back and forth forever untill stopped?
There are some other factors such as wind resistance and friction. Mass and volume of the ball play a role also.

Ok, I have an 85 Daihatsu Charade.. It has done 180k kms. Recently (during night only) it's been shutting itself down, the mechanic says its because the oil fumes are going through the engine and it doesn't like breathing it. So I was wondering what are some easy, fast ways to reduce or eliminate these fumes?(FYI It's only during the night that I have this problem)
Also, My alternator is only putting 13ish Volts to the battery (No where near enough). How can I get it pumping out more voltage? thanks.
You might just have to get a new alternator. I had to put one in my truck just recently. It could be you need new filters; oil, air, ect.

My dad can be kinda strict about things like paintball.i really want an aerosal gun(like a bb gun,but shoots plastic pellet),but they are more dangerous than paintball guns.but lately my dad has been letting me do that stuff, but he was kinda angry about me watching a movie with nudity.how should i ask him for an aerosal gun?should i even ask?
Do you mean Air-Soft? They can be just as dangerous as a paintball gun if used incorrectly. They can put an eye out. I used to have a fully-automatic bullpup...Asking him is your choice.

So, here's the story:
I am currently a freshman attending a private high school in Greenville, North Carolina. Since I'm in high school, I've started to search for different colleges that I would be interested in attending. I'm considering UNC-CH and I've viewed the application forms and application requirements. While I was looking through them, I noticed that a few of the required courses are not offered at my school as of now. My English literature teacher informed me that some colleges in the area offer extra courses during the summer, so I'm going to begin the required courses later this semester. But, I'm wondering whether taking the extra courses at a college during the summer or switching from my current school to a public school that offers these courses would be better for applying. I know that AP and IB programs are offered at J.H. Rose and South Central in Greenville, but I can't bear to leave my friends and my boyfriend behind. I know that my education should come first, but really, it is hard for me. What do YOU think would be the best thing for me in the long run?

15/f I get really chapped lips, but they don't crack or anything, they just get sore and red and sometimes itchy. They flake too. So anyway, I've tried loads of different chapsticks and stuff, even blisteze which is a really good medical thing to use. It's really annoying me cuz I can't wear lip gloss or anything, plus they itch and I get red bits around my lips too. Does anybody know what's up with them?

I have music playing out of my PC and I have NO IDEA where it's coming from!! I'm not sure when it started because I left the PC while it was starting up. There's nothing on the toolbar, desktop or when I press ctrl alt + delete that suggests music - there's nothing that isn't normally there. It's almost like a radio station. I've checked my CD drive, media player and there are no pop ups or anything this music could be coming from. Does anyone have any idea what it is or how I could stop it?

I got this as a Christmas present last year, and just today tried to instal it. However, my dad unfortanetly got the Special DVD Edition! I don't have a DVD-ROM drive in any of the 5 computers in my house, not including my dad's totally off-limits work-only PC. The normal CD-ROM drive I have doesn't even recognize the disc Sims 2 came with as a disc at all! :/ Is there any way I can get around this and install it? Or do we have to drop another $40 on the normal version? -sigh-
No, there isn't a way around this. But if you really want to play this game then you could get a cheap DVD-Rom for about 40 bucks and install it yourself instead of having to buy another copy. And you will have the DVD-Rom if you ever need it again.

On the floor, lay on your back and then lift your legs about 3-5 inches off the floor and hold it, but don't lift your head.
You should feel that in the upper abs. Do this along with situps or crunches.
