what is an aviator? or the aviator? something of the sort... someone said it and i feel like an idiot

It's somebody that flys a plane. And there is a movie by Leonardo DiCaprio and it's called the Aviator. He flys a plane in the movie...so basically the pilot.

The "Aviator" is a movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio about an aviator who is rich and so on. An aviator is someone who operates a plane (a pilot). This someone was probably talking about the movie. Hope I helped :)
