Losing weight is not about eating no sugars, it is about not eating the wrong kids of sugars like candy or icecream. Even foods like apples or grapes have their own natural sugars which actually help your body. [ little_ms_perfect's advice column | Ask little_ms_perfect A Question ]

Karen answered Sunday February 20 2005, 9:46 am: There are basically no foods that have no carbs and/or sugar. Vegetables are the only types of foods that have a low amount of carbs and sugar. Carrots, celery, cucumbers, etc. are good to eat. The only thing you can do is to look for foods that are low on sugar and/or carbs. It should say it on a label at the grocery store. Hope I helped :)

BeautifulMadness answered Sunday February 20 2005, 9:33 am: Hiya,
It's pretty impossible to find a food with NO carbs or sugar!! Things like Rice Cakes are LOW in sugar, but pretty HIGH in carbs...
Maybe you could try sugar free yoghurt, or certain vegetables like cabbage, carrots, etc...?
Sorry, those are the only actual suggestions I have...
But you could always look in your supermarkets 'healthy-eating' aisle. There's a new food range out called 'Carb Options', which has loads of normal foods with the carbohydrates taken out. You can also buy diabetic chocolates, if you have a sweet tooth but don't want to risk the sugar :) They're available in any good chocolate shop, including Thortons.
Blessed Be,
