I'm a little unexperienced in the dating world. Entering highschool and having only dated one person is nothing to boast about. My husband and I are adopting a cat today from the Humane Society. The cat is 4 years old, and has not been declawed. I feel it would be inhumane to do declaw her, but I am worried about her scratching my furniture, and me as well. Does anyone have any alternitives to declawing, or how to prevent her from scratching the furniture.
And any other tips for a new cat owner would be appriciated.

My girlfriend is moving three states over for 6 months because of family problems but will for sure be back by then. She says she wants to continue dating while shes gone but i dont know if i can do that. We would only beable to talk on the phone and maybe i could drive over a few times. Well if you really love her hun i think it can work. It is 6 months and thats better than a year. But if you really like her, you can make it work. Also i've had a relationship with a guy that lived out of the U.S. now thats a tough one!!! Best wishes.

i was dating this guy for about 3 months and things got pretty serious. we spent every day together and he would stay and my house and vice versa. his ex girlfriend called one night and he broke up with me to see if things would work with her and they didnt. he called about a month after we broke up and said that he made a huge mistake for breaking up with me cause i was the best thing that had ever happened to him. we got back together and things were great, actually better than ever or so i thought. one day when she called again he started getting weird again and told me that he once again needed time. i took all of my stuff from his house and said that i wasnt playing second best anymore. i gave him all i had and thought that this was it. that he was the one. and unfortunately im a mess over him. i know he treats me horrible in this situation but ive never been so inlove with someone before. and i dont know what to do. someone just help. please.
Ok this guy isnt worth it. If every time his ex calls hes going to drop you and think he can pick you back up... well he cant. Once is enough... Seriously if you go back a second time he might once again think its alright and that you will always be there. I mean he might like you back and everything but maybe you should give it some time and let him actually realize what he is missing, instead of going back so easy (kind of like hard to get :)) If he comes back I guess you can go back one more time at your own risk. But hun dont go back a 3rd time. Maybe you two should talk about things. Or maybe hes just not the right guy. Best wishes

You can always control yourself. People that are depressed dont always go around killing themselves. I was depressed just last year... and I'm still around. Almost ever teen that i have talked to has thought about suicide atleast like 4 times in their teen years. Suicide is a common thing to think about. But depressed people are always the ones that do decide that suicide is their way out. Not every person commits suicide when they are depressed. Just some.

Ok, I'm 13 and I get really bad depression. I've had it for like over a year now. I forgot what its like to actually have true happiness. And I know most teens go throug this, but mines pretty severe. Like I never want to do anything anymore, I just dont care, I hate life, And most of the time I just feel like dieing. And like ver since I got it, its screwed up my life. I lost all my friends and havent really had any in like a year. It seems easy when people just say "start making new friends" or "find an activity you like doing" or try to be happy or whatever, but its so hard. I don't know what to do about my depression. Please help?
Go to a doctor and get tested so he can get you on some meds. Because a lot of people go threw depression and a lot of people get on meds. Go to a counsler (sp i think?! whatever) to talk to and tell them and they can help you. Try and tell your friends (or ex friends whatever) what has been going on and explain to them why you havnt felt the need to hang out. If they dont understand they arnt really friends! Over the summer I was a counselor at a camp with my friends. This other guy I know also was a counselor. He goes to my school and I started liking him. Turns out he likes me to (he told my friend). He says he doesn't want me to know (too late!) and he doesn't want to ask me out because asking people out is stupid to him. His last two girlfriends were both extremely popular and deemed the 'hotties'. I'm just worried he doesn't want to go out with me because I am not popular. Now I'm not a geek, I'm pretty high up there...but not as high as his ex-girlfriends. Any advice would help.
Any guy that wouldnt go out with a girl because shes not popular is pretty low and not worth going for. He might just think since his last two ex's were a waste of time then maybe he thinks that the next one will be too. Talk to him and just be like oh so who do you like dont let him know you know but give him signs that you like him or whatever. And hang out... maybe you will change his mind. Best wishes
