This is more of an opinion question than an advice thing, but I figured I'd ask anyway...never hurts, right?
If a guy asks you to marry him in the future, but doesn't give you a ring, does it count?

i think it counts...the ring isnt the actual thing that declares ur married. its just like a symbol of ur love and stuff....it isnt required, so yea it does count if u get engaged with out a ring...

Uhm, well I don't think so. I suppose I view it like this... if he doesn't have a Ring... how seRious could he be? On the otheR hand... he may not have the money at the moment, which is completely undeRstandable... but if that WERE the case... I'd RatheR have him wait until he HAS the Ring to make the peRfect pRoposal... even IF it's 6 months fRom now!! yeah obviously it counts....having a ring isn't the most sweet thing it's how he proposes to you and guess what with or without a ring you'll get one l8r and it's better cuz you'll actually have a perfect fit for your finger

If he's planning on getting a ring, yes. If he said it in a nonserious manner, it means no but he's thinking about it. If it's a total stranger, then no.

yup! atleast in my opinon, because a ring doesn't matter, atleast an engagement ring doesn't. Whats most important is the fact he loves you and wants to marry you!! And he did ask you so the ring doesn't really matter. As long as you have a ring when married, because without a ring when married, some people might hit on you, or ask you out or something lol jp!

of course it counts. Some guys might just not have enough money at the time. Even a small ring would be nice. But not matter what it still counts!

Of course it counts...A ring is just a ring it doesnt say how much you love someone and how much you want to be with them. Its just something for other ppl to know that you are in love with this man and that you do want to be with him for the rest of your life.
