I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.I'm one of the very blessed.
I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.
Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.
Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.

i need some ideas for halloween. and im in 8th grade so nothin babyish, i really don't wanna go too "out there" this year since im gettin older.. so ya nothin too extreme. i love animals, music (fav bands are My chemcial romace, green day, and also linkin park, just mainly the first two tho)manily i love rock, metal, punk, etc. music is my life. so i kinda want to include that too. i was kinda thinking maybe a punk angel. like an angel with tons of black make-up, and like giant fake eyelashes, lots of eyeliner, etc. but idk i need some ideas! please help, sry this was kinda long, but im open for ANY ideas, Thanks!

my brother got mono about a month or 2 ago. recently my throat has been really hurting. i lose my voice off and on, and sometimes its really scratchy. it hurts to swallow and sometimes talk. also, i get bad headaches and dizzy, and sometime i get SUPER hot, and then the next minute FREEZING cold. my head is always hot and my face is always red, and my mom said i felt "clammy". i also have like no energy, the past 3 days when i get home i just lay down or sleep. there is a lot of viruses and colds going around at my school and neighborhood, and normally i would just think it was a bad cold, but the fact the my brother has mono makes me think i might. i dont want to waste my parents money or get my blood taken if i dont have it, so does that sound like the symptoms? when i ask my brother he says that kind of sounds like it, but everyone is different, and he cant exactly remember since its been awhile since he first got it. thanks :]
Well, considering you run the risk of having mononucleosis from your brother, then you should probably bite the bullet and have yourself tested.

Anyone know how to get rid of a task bar icon thingy from the right bottom corner of your screen? Like has it ever happened to you where this fake or unecesessary anti-virus program installs itself onto your computer and then you uninstall it but the task bar icon remains telling you with annoying pop ups that your computer is infected or has no protection? yeah I have that and I want to get rid of it.
The only thing I can think of is run your spyware program. Anything that just installs itself is something you need to remove.

Ok my school is having homecoming soon and I don't have a date. There is this one guy Jack but I don't think he has enough courage to ask me. But his older brother Mike and I are friends and he said he liked me but I don't really like him back like that. If I asked him to homecoming do you think he will get the wrong idea?But maybe I do like him a little. But I have heard that he lies but I am still good friends with him and I don't think he has ever lied to me. What sould I do if he asks me out? What if Jack is going to ask me? I would rather go with Jack. O please help!
Well, if he is known to lie, you don't want to get mixed up with him. He may not lie to you now, but that doesn't mean he won't be tempted to do so in the future.

There is something wrong with my dog. She gets into everthing and never listens. when I say NO she gets it and runs around the table I can't stand her. Does anyone have any ideas of how i could train and control this dog?
Well, consistency is the key. When you say "no" always add authority to your voice and be firm "NO!" Her problem is she likely doesn't see you as being the boss.
Point your finger at her when you say "NO!" This will teach her that she is doing wrong even if you are unable to be authoritative, such as during a big family dinner. You can just point as you do when being vocal.
You CAN teach a dog to listen to your hand gestures as well as your voice. I've done it myself. When she comes to jump up on you, hold out a flat hand and say "DOWN!" When you want her to come to you, point to the floor in front of your feet and say "COME!" Stuff like that. She will learn what your hands are saying.
When she is well behaved, pat her and tell her kindly "good girl" and give her a little treat. For instance when she sits patiently and doesn't run around the table. Or when you come home and she hasn't gotten into things. It takes a while, but she will learn that when she misbehaves, she gets no treats.
Now remember, this stuff doesn't work unless you are consistent with her. You can't do this stuff for a couple days, stop, and expect her to remember a week from now, and get angry with her because she hasn't learned anything. This is a constant, daily thing.
You'll know when she has learned, because she will respond as you want her to.
Also, you have to give her more positive attention than commands. "NO!" is a negative command, and she knows it. If you can't stand her, she won't want to listen to you. Why? Would you want to take instruction from someone who is negative towards you? Remember, just like dogs can sense fear, they can sense negativity.
If you love her and give her lots of attention and show affection, she will be more apt to see you as her friend and listen to you.
Not saying you don't love your dog or anything, but that is just a vibe I get from saying you can't stand her.
If all else fails, there are dog trainers.

ok im 13/m... im mediun popular in 8th grade. theres this girl i rly love since the 1st time i saw her (a year ago) and i got the chance to know her a bit better. Ask her for her phone number so you can call her. If she gives you her number, she is interested. If she doesn't, then she isn't.
Then if she tells the whole school that you asked for her number, it isn't the same as actually saying "Hey, wanna go out?" because you may just want her number so you can talk as a friend.

okay. this could get a little confusing. I liked this boy (were calling him L) well i liked L and he liked me back. WE liked eachother all over the summer but never hung out because something would always happen. THen at the beginning of the school year i saw him at the scrimage game and he seemed pretty excited to see me. Then we were supposed to hang out the next weekend and we never did. I have barely talked to him since then and we are in about our 3rd month of school. NOw their is this other boy (were calling me E) when i met him he was going out with best friend. BUt they broke up about a year ago and he cant stand her now but he likes me. and he likes me alot. he tells me all the time how he wished i would just give him a chance and i just dont know if i like him that way. and i'm scared of going out with him would make me loose L..even though i dont think i really have L anymore. I am just so confused on what to do.

Well, if you like them both, you go with who has the time to actually spend with you in order to make a relationship.
If you don't really like this one guy, then you need to try to be with the one you do like. You may have to actually pursue him. Go out of your way to talk to him. When you are supposed to hang out, try to see that it actually happens.
If these things are not possible now, they won't be possible to do if you are dating. If you can't hang out together and talk to one another, then there is no way for the relationship to have a chance to grow.

my hands are like always red..It's weird when people look at them because .. they're not normal colored! haha so does anyone know of any creams or lotion or something that doesn't make them red? this is a year-round thing. ):
That may be something you want to see a dermatologist about. Unless you have some sort of chronic dry hand thing going on, lotions will doubtfully work.
If it is dry skin, at Walgreen's they have this lotion called "Healing Hands." It is in a clear bottle, has the consistency of water, it's main ingredient is ammonia, so it has a really potent smell, but I'm telling you that stuff WORKS, now. It's healing abilities are as strong as it's smell.
My hands get so dry in the winter they crack and bleed, but that stuff heals them right up. If your hands get dry like that, it burns at first, but it isn't bad.

Considering it is a file sharing program, you are getting files from a stranger and downloading it to your own computer.
Any program like that has risks of downloading viruses.
How to avoid them? Have a good anti virus program and hope you don't download something it doesn't know to protect against.

what do you think of guys straightening their hair?
If he wants to straighten his hair then I don't see what is wrong with that at all.
I mean, come on. We live in a day and age where guys perm and dye their hair, go to beauty salons to have hair cuts. All those things used to be labeled as women things.
So what would be wrong with straightening their hair as well?

Okay, So I really like one of my friends. He use to like me then basically out of no where stopped liking me. I can't help but still like him even though he got my hopes up and then crushed them. Me and him are still friends and like I'm scared to go out with another guy because I would dump anyone for this kid. And a little part of me is wondering. Well, to be honest, if you are this overwhelmed, then you need to cut some of your extra curricular activities in order to get the important stuff, such as your homework and dropping grades, back in check.
You can always go out for the school play later on. You can always choose one band activity and add the other back to your schedule once you get yourself reorganized.
When you have a plate as full as yours obviously is, you can't procrastinate. There is no room for it.
You have to make things work to where you can get more sleep at night. If you had a better night's sleep, things wouldn't get so stressful and overwhelming. A tired brain is an overworked brain.

I have a lot of questions about getting a part-time job. I'm a 16 year old girl and no one in my family has ever had to "apply" for a [minimum wage] job in the US.

I picked up applications for Starbucks and a Starbucks in a grocery store.
I know I'm supposed to fill it out completely and honestly, but am I supposed to attach a resume to it? The one for the grocery store is online.
I've never had a real job before... and I'm new in town so who do I put down for former employers and references? I figured teachers were good but that's about it.
Should I put my GPA under education if it doesn't specifically ask for it? [I have a 3.5 or 3.6]
How do I tailor my interests/backround to make me able/good for working with coffee? I understand that being good with typing is good for a secretary but I don't know what to include.
How do I answer the "why do you want to work here" and "why should we hire you" questions?
How many hours should I say I can work a week? I don't know how often I'll be free alll time but I usually am.

If you are filling out a job application, then no resume. They ask all the information they need.
If you have no former employers, then you put nothing- it is your first job.
You do not put your GPA under education. They just want to know if you are a student, graduate, college graduate, etc. They don't honestly care what your grades are, because you don't have to be an honor roll student to work there.
As for your background for working with coffee, you have no experience. You add nothing. Yes, for secretary, typing and the like is good. But if you have no particular skill for the job, then you put nothing.
"Why do you want to work here?" Be honest. You want a steady job. If you are applying at Starbucks because you like the place, say so.
As for what you put for hours, you need to figure out what hours you can work before you apply. I know, you want to go out and such, but when you want to have a job, missing outings on Friday now and again, that is just a part of the responsibility. :(
You need to call and ask to speak to the manager, and ask them if they have had a chance to look at your application. Take the candy store, for example. They probably haven't looked at it because maybe another applicant called and bugged them daily and got the job. Calling them like that lets them know you are serious about working for them.

So theres this guyyy that I hook up with sometimes. Like once a month (this has been going on since the end of last year). I'm really good friends with him, but after every time we hook up, then it gets awkward and we totally ignore each other in class, like even more than usual. i go to a school where all of the guys are either gay, or straight+preppy+taken+committed to their partner.
This one guy from Germany (boarding school) is like really nice and he's a dork and he's not attractive so that means he's probably available. The problem is- i'm a freshman and he's a junior or senior (not sure which) and he seems like he's interested b/c he always says hi to me and stuff and he knows my name and one time he came and sat by me at lunch but then he moved away :(.
