I've been getting my period for about four years now, but this year something weird has started happening. On the first day I get it, that night I always get really bad cramps and nothing helps, like taking tylenol or anything. Then I vomit and after that everything is fine and I don't have cramps again.(Before this, I never got cramps.) Is this normal, or should I get it checked out?

everyone's period is totally different. some have it bad & some don't. it depends on the person & your cycle & what not. that doesn't sound too abnormal though, but i think if you're worried about it you should get it checked out, because obviously 99.9% of people on advicenators aren't gyno. it doesn't sound really weird er anything. feeling bad on the first day is almost normal. a lot of people including myself get it bad on the first day of the 4-7 period days. since you do vomit, i would get it checked out juss incase & stuff.

okay, Im going to start from scratch. There is this guy, and he got pranked one day to tell me that he loved me, and I was stupid back then and believed it, until when my friends said he was joking. It was kind of weird... since I had some feelings for him before, but not really existing. Like, because he was cute. Okay, now months later, I have a crush on him, and he's in a couple of my classes in school, so... yeah. When I have a crush on someone, I get all shivery and stuff, and the same thing happens here. I dont know if he already has a girlfriend, or maybe he doesn't like me the way I like him, or anything. I just want to drop it and focus on my schoolwork, because I think Im too young for dating and that stuff... or even if I'm good at it. Also, we're different skin colors... so... yeah. (not being racist or anything though)I guess Im afraid of what other people may think or anything. I told some of my close friends, (which was good because if I didn't it would probably randomly explode out of me, which would be bad) and well... I dont really know what to say. If you can help me in anyway... then... as so, lol.

Also, Im in advanced math, which doesn't have a lot of girls in it. I'm kind of shy towards boys, so often I feel kind of uncomfortable. All except for 1 of the girls are my friends, and they seem to be okay with a lot of boys, even though having more girls in our class would be nicer. I try to take my mind off it, because then sometimes I become self-concious, because of the massive amounts of boys. Or it could be because my crush is in my class. Or it may be something else, I dont know, I'm not a psychologist or something.

okay first you said that he told you he loved you, but his FRIENDS said that he was joking. do you think they were juss saying that?? sometimes friends get in the way of things. you should've asked him about it & see what he said. if you TRULY like him then go for it. it doesn't matter what skin color you guys are er what other people think. its your life not theirs. school work is important though, so of course you wanna do good in it. a lot of people feel self concious around the opp. sex er even the same sex. i think girls are a lot meaner then guys sometimes soo idk. it's totally normal to feel that way though, so you shouldn't be worried too much about it. juss relax & be yourself.

so, my best friend is going out with this kid who i dont really like .. i never see her anymore and never talk to her, we were going to hang out last weekend and she told him she couldnt cuz she hadnt seen me then he left her a message saying oh cant wait till this weekend, oh wait u have asshole friends .. it bothers me because this was my best friend, someone i always relied on and now shes gone .. i have to face it but she picked him over me and ive tried talking to her, i want her to be happy which is why i havent said anything so far but its killing me inside, does she care about me? i dont know what to do please help!!!

you shouldn't worry about friends like that. if she's truly your friend she'll stay friends with you & care about your feelings. right now she doesn't seem to be doing that. if something goes wrong between them, she'll probably come back to you for help though. talk to her about it if you really wanna be her friend. i guess it's her decision, but if she's your true friend then things will work out.

pressed on powder doesn't cause freckles. it's actually juss substances mixed together & what not. it could cause breakouts depending on what kind you use.

Well I have an XP computer, and it's so you can have multiple log in names.

Well I recently deleted mine, and made a new one.

Problem, I can't put my Itunes back on there.

I have all the songs on my IPOD, but how can I put the songs back onto Itunes?

when you plug in your ipod, you should be able to dump all your songs onto itunes. try updating your ipod. it's under FILE near the bottom. also, next time you wanna do that, burn all your songs to a CD first so that they're all saved so you can empty that CD on your itunes & then juss use it for your ipod.

OK, I'm starting swimming lessons in about two or so months and well...I have a HUGE ass. I'm talking massive. I know there's not much I can really do about that because none of the rest of me is fat so I'm guessing it's just the way I am. But I'm really self-conscious about it as I have super skinny legs and then this huge ass!! Sso has anyone got any good excersizes or tips for toning it up and improving my self-confidence?

Everyone in my family has true blue eyes except me! My eyes ARE blue, but they just don't always look it. When I wear blue, they look blue. When I wear green, they look green. When I wear white and yellow they look grayish. How can I make my eyes look blue ALWAYS without wearing blue everyday? I don't wear contacts or glasses.

i think that's neat!! but if you really want to change em, you can get nonprescription contacts & juss get blue ones. try different eyeliners.

I'm curious about something. If a person has been a smoker since they've been 12 years old, what long term effects would it have on the person? I'm asking because my friends wife is 54 and has been smoking since she was 12. She smokes about 2 packs a day. I think he is worried about her health. I already know that it has prematurely aged her from the outside. She has a very wrinkled face and horrible black and yellow stained teeth. Also does anyone have any solutions as to how she could quit? I hear it's very hard but possible.

she's probably not healthy. i've seen this smoking commercial & they take someones aora, can't spell, & show whats in it after a smoker at age 32 & it was so gross. i think that alone will stop a smoker. it probably is hard to quit, but since it's been so long, it's not healthy. here's a website-

Well, I am about 4'10" and it is mostly legs. I have really long legs and I'm skinny, maybe about 83 or 84 pounds or so. I am under 14 yrs. old if that helps. Well it is really hard to find pants that fit right. I just want some pants that fit me in the thighs and butt and are long enough so I can atleast wash them and they will still fit really well. Because I used to wear 10 slim put they are way to short in the length. My thighs are pretty small and so is my butt. I am trying to gain weight but it isn't helping.
I just want some jeans that are long and fit nice. So if anyone can help me in anyway with that, or if you have tips that would be great!

yeah i'm like 5'9 & i need to get slim longs er w/e haha =) it also depends where you shop for jeans. you might wanna try places like american eagle, jc penny, macy's, ltd2 maybe?? places like that.

How come my picture for my column wont load all the way.the loading bar reaches the top then stops? Anyone know why?

the uploader doesn't work for some reason. idk it didn't work for me. what you should do is get an account at WWW.PHOTOBUCKET.COM it's totally free & you get an account, sign in your album & upload your picture there. then when it's loaded, there's 3 links under each picture you upload. copy & paste the 'URL' link & then on advicenators there's a space that says 'URL a pic of you' er whatever & you put it in there & submit it.

Ok, so I think I like this guy (we'll call him A)
A and I are sort of like friends with benefits but I think I am starting to like him! About a week ago he told me that he is confused weather he likes me or not. He says that he does not know if he wants to be my boyfriend. I told him I feel the exact same way. So now we both agree on that we are confused and do not know if we like like each other or not. We are AMAZING friends and love to hang out with each other. We are totally comfortable in front of each other and can talk about anything together. I feel like A sometimes leads me on, he always tells me I am beautiful and how much he loves my kisses and all that other stuff. I love when he says these things but I want him to really mean them! I cannot stop thinking about him. What do I do?

i have an idea but it's up to you if you wanna do it er not. i say take some time away from each other. that way you can sort out your feelings for each other by yourselves without any influences. juss a few days er something. nothing big. then you guys can start hanging out again & see how you feel.

Hey everyone... i'm a senior in high school, and i'm most likely going to go to San Francisco State University next year. Any advice for college? Anything at all would be great.. Dorm rooms, the people in general in college, academics, distractions.. anything!! My major is going to be Nutrition. Thanks in advance =]

i took a class called 'Career Explorations' & it taught a lot about college & careers after it. i'm only a sophmore in hs but the class is good. dorm rooms are expensive & could probably get pricey depending where they are, but if you have a good roommate things should be fine, plus you're way closer to the school. people in college are soo diverse. there's so much diversity & you'll meet a whole bunch of different cultured people which is really cool. idk about you, but i grew up in a small town & i'm in classes with kids i've been in classes with since kindergarten. basically the teacher told us sooooo many times that you have to stay focused. you don't wanna blow your money er your parents money on things like partying your college years & not becoming serious about school work. basically he said that yes parties once in awhile are fun, but always make sure your school work comes first because it'll probably be tempting. he told us college is a lot of fun though.

I just don't know if things will work cuz of the age difference, its only three years but still.... 3 years isnt a big age difference. when he's 83 you'll be 80, see what i mean?? try becoming friends & see where things will go from there. juss take into consideration that he'll probably be going to college soon & what not. juss stay friends & see where things go.

If a guy tells you to have children when you're young; and then winks at you, does that mean anything? This happened to me with a guy friend of mine. First he started asking me if I wanted children. I said that I was still young (I'm 24) and had lots of time for that. Then he said to have them when I'm still young because I wouldnt want to be 60 when their 18. He has never had children himself (he's 41). This is when he winked at me. Do you think (because this is my theory), that this was his way of hinting he wanted to have children with me? Because obviously he wants them, and was telling me to have them young because if I waited until I was 40 to have his kids he would be in his 70's by the time our kids were in their teens.

you can't really tell by that. he could've juss been kidding er flirting with you. it doesn't exactly mean he wants to have kids with you. you should ask him about it because he might like you but you won't know unless you ask.

I go to school with 2 girls that I don't really like. I got my users account at school removed because my principle found my website (& my two other friends) emailed to her and she must have thought that I did some of my weblog entrys at school, which isn't true. All my website had on it was cussing. NOTHING what so ever about school! So she took away my computer privleges and now I can't even type or anything! But the part that really pisses me off is the 2 girls I mentioned earlier, have been getting on porno sites when half of that stuff's blocked out. But yet she doesn't do anything to them, probably because no one has reported them. I have seen them get on it numerous times with my own eyes. But that really pissed me off because she called my mom after my 2 other friends got taken away by the cops and told my mom that my site was gothic!! Because it had a black background! How can I deal with this problem!?

shes an idiot haha =) its juss school like don't worry about it. can't you come home & do all your school work?? 'gothic' is not having a black background so she obviously is confused. have your mom write a note to her saying that you should be able to at least use the computers for school work & you can even have a teacher keep an eye on you. other than that you probably can't do anything. idk who would look at porno sites on a school computer but who knows i guess.

So when you buy songs from itunes you are supposed to be able to see the album cover on your iPod (i have and iPod nano), because it isnt showing? I have tried changeing my settings and the covers show in iTunes...So what is going wrong? can someone please tell me how to fix this...is my iPod broken?

it depends on the song. some songs don't have album covers & some do. you can't really do anything about it. your ipod isn't broken.
