I have 2 kids no husband. I have made alot of mistakes in the past escpecially being premiscuous. I have compltly turned my life around now. Is it too late for or will God forgive me and except me into Heaven. Please someone who belives in God or is a Pastor or something help me. (link)

Edit after comments: Well, sister, let me encourage you in this. Remember King David? He lusted after another man's wife, then had the husband murdered so he could cover up his sin and have her. So David commited adultry, he coveted, murdered, lied and yet God forgave him. Why? Because he prayed this with all his heart:
Psa 51:10-12 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
And here is what God said about David:
Act 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king, of whom he testified and said, 'I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.'
God is interested in where your heart is. Judging from the concern in your question, I would say your heart is tender and open. Give it to Him to mold and shape you. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

You say you pray every night for a better life. From what you described, it sounds like God is answering your prayer. A better life in God's eyes means drawing you closer to Himself. It means bringing you to a place where you are ready to turn from the things that keep you separated from Him. He desires for you to know Him and you can if you will turn to His son Jesus. Only through Jesus can any person not be separated from God anymore. You say "I have run out of options". Jesus is what will make your life purposeful. He is an "option" that will never let you down. Jesus died on the cross to free you from your sins. You may feel alone, but you're not. Jesus is "a friend that sticks closer than a brother", the bible says. Tonight as you pray, ask Jesus to take hold of your life completely and give you peace.
I will be in prayer for you.

My mom and I started going to church recently. I totally believe in God and I am 100% Christian. However, my dad was baptised (sp?) as a Morman, and neither of my brothers go to church. My brother A, isnt in to the whole believin in stuff type, hes more i'll believe it wen i see it. And Brother B just doesnt go to church. So my question is will my family all go to Heaven, or will my brothers go to Hell? I'd love answers asap please. (link)
|
Whether your dad was baptized morman or not, he can still turn from that (if he hasn't already) and accept Jesus as Savior. There is hope for your brothers too. Outward acts reflect the inward man.
You may already have an understanding of this, but Christianity is all about having a relationship with Jesus so the Christian can be made right with God the Father. The Holy Spirit lives inside the Christian to guide, council and various other things in that relationship. Going to church, praying, reading ones Bible are things Christians do to keep the flame of the relationship going.
It sounds like your concern for your dad and brothers is the Lord Jesus stirring your heart. This is what is called spiritual laboring. I advise you to labor in prayer for your family and don't quit. You need to trust God to move in them. I'll warn you though, as the Holy Spirit convicts their hearts, they will feel it inside. And this may cause more rebellion against the truth because they are fighting it. But don't get discouraged. This is all part of the laboring process. Bless you for loving your family so much.

Hi,
You seem like a really cool person. I checked out your website, and I can tell that God has worked in your life. You also have my dream job. Though I'm not old enough to be looking for a job, I know that I will probably want to write for a Christian magazine or maybe a web-zine. I'm quite impressed with your advice. To make this an actual question; do you know of any schools in the state of Alabama that might offer a good writing course? (colleges) I have to go to a state college because my family can't afford a non-state or independant college; and my PACK doesn't cover non-state colleges.
Perhaps you have some writing tips? I am an avid horse fan and lover, and have considered writing for horse magazines when I'm older; but I'm also very interested in political matters - from a strictly Christian point of view.
Thank you so much!
God bless and keep you.
II Timothy 4:22 (link)

You are so sweet, FunnyCide! Thank you for your kind words. I don't know of any colleges in the state of Alabama that might offer a good writing course, but I can direct you to a friend of mine who is the publisher of Teen Light Magazine. The magazine is Christian, written by teens and for teen readers. They even have a free course on journalism (I think it's on journalism). The publishers name is Annette Dammer (AKA: Mrs. :D). You can tell her I gave you the information.

If you want to learn how to write short fiction stories, email me directly mylordwon@yahoo.com and I'll tell you about a course I am in the process of putting together for teens.
God bless you too!

i am the same person that wrote witch/devil with the thoughts in my head. well kately i have thought about it a lot and all that, well in class i kind of fell asleep and i was aware that i had my eyes closed and all that, anyway i had a weirdish dream and it was a dream that the devil was dragging this guy i have never seen before in my life under the bed and killed him. this woke me right up but i hnever had a dream like that and now all i can think about is that dream and that guy i didn't even know and the fact that i might be a satanist what should i think about instead of this? (link)
|
FunnyCide is absolutely right. God has given Satan permission to torment you with these dreams because a choice needs to be made. God wants you to turn to Him by accepting His Son Jesus to be your Savior. Satan wants you to give in to the lie and worship him (satan). I told you in the answer to your last question that there will be a battle. From what you've described, the battle is heating up.
To give you a word picture on what's happening, picture this: You are standing at the edge of a dark forest. You are coureous about what's beyond the first line of trees. One voice warns you that stepping into the dark forest would be bad and another voice encourages you to try it - what would it hurt. You chose to step into that darkness when you started playing around with witchcraft and other things related to the evil of satan. You stepped in further and further until you noticed that the darkness turned so thick you you don't know how you even got there. You're scared and try to run out of it - to find that first line of trees again, but you're lost. You don't know which direction to run. You will be in that darkness with all the scary stuff, until you stop running and cry out to Jesus. He will show up with enough light to lead you out of that dark forest. He knows the way because He IS the way.
The Bible says those who have Jesus will live with Him forever in a place like FunnyCide described known as heaven. Those who have reject Jesus, will spend eternity in torment. You think what you're experiencing now is scary. Picture it trillions upon trillions times worse with no hope of ever escaping it. Today you still have a choice. Seriously consider it because you don't know if you will have a tomorrow.
|
this may sound scary but lately i have these thoughts like a voice in my head saying im a satanist. i don't want to be and i try to force the thought out and think that god is my only one though it always comes back. i got this book and it had a list of all the warning signs of a satanist and i had all of them except for one. i think i am becoming a satanist. i also do witchcraft but i never did anything involving the devil. now all i can think about is becoming a satnist i need serious help. i am originally catholic. and i am a girl. (link)
|
First I will address the fact that witchcraft DOES involve the devil. The devil convinces you that it's no big deal and that it's even fun. The power you use when you play around with it, is the forces of evil. It's not just innocent stuff that has no consquences. You have been messing around with serious SERIOUS sin. You have open a spiritual door for the devil to convince that you're a satanist. You have a choice to walk through that open door and believe satan or the door can be slammed shut! Continue to say NO to these thoughts and DO NOT give into them. You are now aware of what is happening and where it can lead. The devil wants you and he will fight to keep that door open - to get you to say yes, but it's not to late to cry out to Jesus to save you from this. Jesus is the only one strong enough to help you slam it shut. I do want to warn you though, there will be an inner battle. You are already experiencing part of the battle, but grab ahold of Jesus and don't let go, He will lead through. You will only get the serious help you need from Jesus. Read the bible out loud. The devil can't stand hearing God's Word. Pray and pray some more. Surround yourself with bible believing Christians. And put away whitchcraft and other things that have to do with spiritual darkness.

Since you sent this directly to me and not the list, I am going to assume that you are looking for biblical guidance; which is what I am going to give. I am also going to assume you are a Christian. However, whether you are a Christian or not, God has standards to live by and premarital sex is something God is completely against. Maybe you have no intentions of being with this boy in a sexual way, but it will lead there. You may ask, "how do you know that?" I'll tell ya.
You are putting yourself in a place of temptation that if you don't get out of now, it will sweep you under. You are in high school and I know it's tough, but I urge you to avoid relationships that will lead to sexual sin. Society these days says it's okay to have premarital sex as long as you have safe sex. Well, THEY ARE WRONG! It's NOT okay. It's a lie. There is no such thing as safe sex. The only safe premarital sex is abstinence (which means not having sex at all before marriage).
This boy is willing to look beyond his girlfriend to you. Think about it; if he does this to her, what makes you think he won't do it to you? He was willing to go back with her after knowing she was with another. He must think sex is okay. Perhaps he and this girlfriend have a sexual relationship. Do you really want someone like that?
I will tell you this, boys use love to get sex and girls use sex to get love. The girl always loses.
Save yourself for your husband. Love can wait. As hard as it is, it is possible and worth it. YOU are worth waiting for. If you have already given yourself to someone, repent to the Lord. He will give you strength. If you are falling for him, your heart will lead to a dangerous place. So to answer your question, forget about this boy and even avoid a friendship with him. Stand strong in what's right and look to the future.

I am 23 years old From california
How can I be friends with this guy in my life. What kind of questions should I ask to get to know him better? I dont want to ruin the friendship in any way. But I also dont want to feel uncomfortable. Its there any verses for friendship with guys.
Love Amie (link)
|
Amie,
This is a tough question because there are no verses that directly talk about girls having a friendship with guys, but there are biblical principles about relationships.
It sounds like you are a bit nervous about being his friend and I get the feeling from your question that you might see (or even want) the friendship to head deeper in the future. I suggest praying for the Lord to show you if there is a future with this guy.
Being friends with a guy has the danger of turning into fornication. So it's wise not to find yourself alone together - always be around other people. Anything you say or how you act can lead him to believe there may be more than a friendship, so be straight forward and honest. Talk to him like you would any other friend. Males are many times consumed by their job. Show interest in that. Talk about the things of God. I'm assuming he's a Christian. If he's not, you are in more spiritual danger than you realize. Carefully think about if it's worth it.
You will not ruin the friendship if you are honest and hold to your convictions. If anything, it will increase the friendship bond. Some of the best marriages started out with a friendship. My husband and I were friends for 8 years before we got married. Since then we have gone through a lot that could have destroyed us if it weren't for that friendship foundation with each other and of course the Lord.
Really seek the Lord and don't walk the line of sin just to save a friendship. If you become uncomfortable, WALK AWAY. It's better to walk away than to sin against God. Because in the end, you will be the one who loses.

I need some advice. I am 18 and going to move out in the summer with some friends. If you are saying i am too young you dont understand the situation i am in. I dont want to go to college, i will later in life i just cant now. I cannot live in my house any longer and must leave. I just need to know if you have any idea on the costs. I know rent already i just need utility prices. If you have any idea on the prices of utilities for a 2 bedroom trailer please let me know, or any other expenses for the matter. Thank You. (link)
|
I understand the reason of moving out because you just can't be at home anymore. I did the same thing. Let me tell ya, it's hard, but I wouldn't trade those years for anything. I learned how to live on nothing. Utilities depend on where you are located, so I'm not going to even give an estimate. Calling the utility companies and asking what the past bills have been for the previous renters/owners is the best advice I can give you on that. However.....
Not telling you what to do, but here is something to consider. You won't get too far in life without a college education. You will find that out fairly quickly. So before you just write off college until later, I encourage you to look into grants and loans. Now may be a good time to go when you have nothing because government grants and loans are more available to people in a lower income level. I went to a technical school for marketing and received enough grants to cover my bills that I only had to work a few hours a week to make ends meet.
Again, this was a few years ago for me and times have changed, but I wanted to encourage you to at least check it out.
I hope you are okay and everything works out.

This is wonderful, little sister! There is nothing better than turning to the Word of God for guidence.
I have a collection of scripture set to music and I love it! It's much easier to remember. Here is the link if you want to check it out.

There is also a site that let's you download the bible for free. http://www.e-sword.net Once it's downloaded on your computer, you can type in any word and it will bring up all the bible passages that contain that word. Very Cool!
Meanwhile, this is an excellent passage. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.

You had left me a message on my site (Little_Miss_Cant_Be_Wrong), and I just wanted to thank you for your compliment. That really means alot to me, and I just wanted to comment back with a sincere thank you. I was reading through your site, and was really impressed with how you answered all of your questions. I have been going through a private religious school all my life, and I have some questions that I could use your insight on. I will drop you a line with those in the next day or so. Right now we are reading a book called 'The Case for Christ,' by Lee Strobel. I was wondering if you have ever read that, and if you have, what you thought of it. Alright, thank you again! Bye! Thank you for the kind words. I will look forward to your questions and hope I can help.
No, I haven't read that book. But you have struck my curiousity. I may have to check it out.
Blessings!

i feel like im not a sensitive person. for example, if someone got hurt, it kinda doesnt make me feel sorry for them. i really want to be nicer, i just dont know how=) (link)
|
Since you put this under the spirituality heading, I am going to give you a spiritual answer.
It can be frustrating when you see someone hurting and you know there is really nothing you can do about it. So people have a tendency to brush it off, which over time causes the sensitivity toward people to be lost. Your desire to be sensitive toward others is commendable, but just being nicer can come across fake if you don't really care in your heart. The answer is love them, pray for them and ask God to show you what they need. They may need nothing more than to be put in God's hands. The bible says love conquers all. However, the only way to sincerely love them, is to see them through God's eyes. The only way to see them through God's eyes is to know God. To know God, one needs to read His Word. Get yourself a Bible and read about how God loves. Then you will be able to love too.
|
here is something i dont understand and i sont know if anyone here understands it. Why are we here just why i dont understand it we were put here by god but why it makes no sense. i mean think we live just so we can die it makes no sense so i dont understan why we would be put here by god it makes no sense because one day we could be alive and the next we could be dead just why. (link)

God made people so they could be His friends. Adam and Eve were the first people on earth. The Bible says He walked with them and talked with them in the Garden of Eden. They were perfect and holy. God didn't want robots for friends, so He gave Adam and Eve a free will. They had the ability to make their own choices. God told them they could eat from any of the trees in the garden except one. Because when they did, they would surely die. Sly satan (a fallen angel) convinces Eve that they would not die. Satan may have prompted the desire, but it was Eve's choice. So she took the fruit and gave some to Adam and they both ate it. Did they both fall over dead? No, but their spirits died and the physical process to death began. From then on, all generations have inherited this sin nature and are separated from Holy Almighty God. But God so loved the world that He sent His only Son Jesus that whoever believes in Him will not parish but will have everlasting life. Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice for people to be redeemed. We all still have a free will and need to make a choice. We need to either accept Jesus and have life put back in us or we choose a dead spirit. I chose Jesus and although I still live in a fallen, sin-filled world, my spirit is alive and I am reconciled to my Maker.
The ultimate purpose for every person is to be God's friend. Then we each have individual purposes that serve Him. If my only purpose in life was to introduce you to Jesus Christ, then my life has been fulfilled. The fact that you asked shows me you're seeking Him whether you realize it or not. Choose Jesus.

Does anyone know any spells for friendship? Simple ones..PLEASE. I'm on a budget AND hwere I live it's hhard to get hold of stuff. Please help me. I need to do it while the moon is Waxing.only 3 more days. THANKS: (link)
|
What in the world do you need a friendship spell for? You are playing around with and worshiping pure evil. It will completely entangle you, if it hasn't already, and drag you to the depths of hell. Is that what you want? Do you want to be a prisoner of the doomed and suffer torment for all eternity?
Jesus died for your sins to free you from such bondage. He died on the cross and rose from the dead 3 days later. Jesus defeated satan and satan is now doomed for all eternity. You will be too if you don't turn from this. Ask Jesus to be your friend before it's to late. He will be your friend without any cost at all.

I am jewish, people tell me all the time that in their religion there is a trinity of some sort. My question is how can Jesus, The Holy Ghost, and _________ make up G-d? I dont know the third one either.
I'm just a little confused.
~Nokomis~ (link)
|
God is a triune God,the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Humans are made in God's image and also a triune being, made up of soul, body and spirit.

I am 19 years old(female) I have been dating a 26 year old and has a child. I am in love with him and his son who is 17 months old. My problem is, his sons mother. I have been with my boyfriend since his son was 6 motnhs old(I am not the reason he and his sons mother are not together). My boyfriends exgirlfriend is so mean and rude to me, she tries to make me look like a bad person and I am not.My boyfriend and I have a wonderful relationship. My question is..What am I supposed to do when she calls and is very rude to me and tries to argue with me? I usually don't do anything because she is my boyfriends son's mother, but it is getting hard to just let it go because it is getting worse. What should I do? (link)
|
hmm...I am going to make some assumptions here and please write back if I'm wrong, okay? I'm guessing that the exgirlfriend calls you because she needs to communicate with your boyfriend regarding the child and you two are living together. If that is the case, I want to ask you, Are there marriage plans in the future? If not, really how commited is he to the relationship? You say you and he have a wonderful relationship, but has he stepped up and interviened on your behalf? I understand there's a child involved which always complicates things, but not knowing the whole situation, I will say this: It will continue to get worse until something is done about it and I believe if your boyfriend truly cares about you and loves you like you say you love him, he needs to defend you. He needs to protect your emotional well-being.
|
First, let me preface this by saying that this is going to a bit long and that I'm not highly religious. I always believed that if you lived your life morally and right, God or the cosmos or what have you, would reward you in a way. You would be able to affect people's lives by the way that you live.
So I've lived my life well- I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, engage in pre-marital sex, am always kind, and work hard helping others, however, I'm losing my faith that its all meaningful. It seems to me that people in general are becoming too superficial. There is no more great search for knowledge and truth and TRUE beuty. People don't trust people anymore- always thinking the worst ulterior motive, even when there is none. I feel like I'm fighting a dying battle to keep a little bit of innocence and purity. Am I just being naive thinking that if I keep living my life the way I am, will "reward" me in the end? Am I the only one who feels like this? Am I the only one who thinks that we're not progressing but rather giving in to our most carnal urges? I'm losing faith and I know eventually all the people I help will feel it by the way I treat them. Your input would be appreciated. (link)
|
You are coming to a realization, if you haven't already, that people can not save themselves. I'm glad to hear that you have steered clear of vises that trap people and that you're kind and help others, but it's only meaningful if you have Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Otherwise good deeds are like filthy rags according to the bible. Jesus will reward you in the end, but you need to turn your life over to Him and serve Him only. There is no other god or cosmos or whatever that will. The world is dying because of sin. The bible says that people will become lovers of themselves. Sounds like you're discoverying that, but God made a way for people (for YOU) to be free - have real peace in the midst of chaos. That freedom is found in Jesus.
You want Truth? Get yourself a Bible if you don't already have one and read for yourself. Start in the book of John which is third book in the New Testament. Take it to heart and I promise you will find the answers you seek.
|
I guess the subject line says it all. I constantly flip-flop between Christianity, Atheism and Buddhism. I like a little of all, and I can't seem to choose one faith. I always change my mind. Is there something wrong with me? Am I flaky? It's just that a faith is an important choice, and I'm afraid to make the wrong one.
I like all three, but I know I have to pick one.
What should I do? (link)
|
No, you're not flaky. Searching and realizing the importance of a faith decision is a good start. The fact that you are always changing your mind tells me there is internal battling going on. I suggest you pick up the Holy Bible (the Word of God that Christianity is based on) and seek the truth. Pray to the God of the Bible to meet you where you are and show you truth. If you are seeking truth, desiring to be free and want real answers; real peace, the Bible is where you will find it. The process may not necessarily feel good, but you will find it. Jesus Christ is the answer. He's alive, He's real, and He's waiting for you to say yes to Him.
