I've tried church in the past and it didn't do anything for me. I was a Baptist/Methodist then became Mormon, then Catholic/Greek orthodox. I also tried Buddhism for a while, but it didn't help either...

you are SO right!! actually the only reason i asked that question is because i was reading what they support and was so disturbed by them supporting stem cell research and gar unions and abortion and various other things. it is just so unGodly that i had to make sure of their religion! i honestly cannot imagine being a true Christian and supporting those issues! it says right in the Bible those things are wrong and the Bible is God's Word!! how much more do they need? Him to come down from the sky and talk to them!! anyway thanks for answering my question-you are absolutely right!!

Thank you for answering so quickly and honestly, I know you're right - but it's almost like its easier being a good christian & obeying God's word when I don't believe in it. As soon as I went on this break saying no to sex, alcohol and similar things got so much easier cause I realized I didnt want to do it - I feel like a better person now. When I did believe it was so hard to obey his word and.. well, I don't know. I guess I'll pray and see what happens. Thank you for your prayers. <3

this was really good. infact the best advice ever. i really needed to hear it so i can set my heart on that and just live for him. other people are telling me im selfish and i can kind of see where they are coming from but i dont think they understand what im trying to ask. i just wanted to be more motavated and have SOME people their that believed the same thing. not shut others out.

wow. I dont care that youre christian or whatever, but you truly scare me. Your scared for my soul? haha. Im scared for you. Truly. leave one in my inbox, im acetrace92. Truth? i think not. No offense to your religion or anything, but I just don't believe in that stuff. Why would god send people to hell just because they don't say that they are "saved" by him? I thought you should love your neighbor as yourself... or is God just so special that he doesnt have to follow his own rules... ha.

I am going to send you a question in more detail than this, but I just thought I'd point out that no one in the scientific community takes Behe or Dembski seriously. Behe, in fact, has admitted that, even if certain organs were irreducibly complex, evolution could still have produced them. I will expand on this, though, in the question. Thanks for the thoughtful response, though! If you don't wish to discuss it, though, feel free to ignore my question.

please dont preach. i have decided that chritianity is not for me. i do not believe in "god" and i do not believe the jesus is the son of "god". i have thought about it for the past 14 years of my life, i have decided in that time christianty is not the way i want to go.

THat is why I am so worried is that I feel like I just screwed up my chances. I made so may promises to God but never kept them. But now I am. Do you get many chances??
