advice

how do you use it and what's better a pencil or liquid...?

I have tried a pencil but the tip is rough and you have to push too hard for it to show up at all so I'm confued.

Liquid is a lot harder to use, in the sense that if you mess up, it's harder to take off and start over again. I prefer pencil because it's a lot neater. I really don't bother put eyeliner on the top because I end up screwing it up. I just put some on the bottom and try to get it as close to my lashes as I can. Keep experimenting with different types of eyeliner and you'll eventually find the kind you like. Personally, I like Mary Kate and Ashley eyeliner from Wal-Mart. I just works for me; it stays on all day and the tip is soft and glides right on.

I'm currently on a swim team and eatin much healthier, but today my friend and I went to the pool and she only brought sodas to drink it was very hot so I broke my 3 week chain of no sodas. I feel terrible, I also ate a few cookies, how can I keep from eating the bad stuff when the oppurtunities right in front of me? .. Ill rate :]

I can understand why you feel guilty, but I wouldn't really worry about it. It's OK to have sweets every once and a while. Besides, it's not like you're sitting around and doing nothing; you're on a swim team and you are working out. If your are presented with this opportunity again, it's OK to have a little something, just don't overdo it. Use self-control. Good luck.

I know I've made a facial before out of oatmeal and honey. You just mix the two together and apply to your face. But be careful; it's very messy.

Make sure you use a waterproof pencil eyeliner. Just experiment with different kinds to see what works for you. Personally, I like Mary Kate & Ashley eyeliner from Wal-Mart..haha. It just works for me.

ok i wanna temporarily dye my hair blonde for the summer just for fun *it's brunette now* is there anything i need to worry about so it doesn't become permanetly blonde? i don't wanna change my hair color for ever, i just wanna see waht it looks like...if u have any info plz lemme know!

You could try Loreal Color Pulse. I tried it once, but it didn't work very well for me. If your hair is highlighted, I wouldn't suggest doing it. I dyed mine a long time ago a more blonde color, and when I tried the Color Pulse to dye it light brown, only the blonde parts really got dyed, and they turned orange-y. Try it for the summer and see how it works out for you. It'll wash out in a week; it's worth a shot.

would it be better for a brunette to go to a red shade? most of my friends are saying red instead of blonde...what do yall think is better?

I would probably go with a dark red color, or possibly auburn, which is a red brown color.

You don't need to lose weight if you're comfortable with yourself. Your brother just wants to make himself look good in front of his friends; my brother is the same way. Just pretend he isn't even around. He wants the attention, and you're giving it to him. Pretend he isn't there, and he'll feel stupid.

My boyfriend and I had sex a few weeks ago and I was due to get my period today. I still haven't gotten it. We didn't use a condom, but we didn't finish either. He was only in me for a few seconds, not even a minute. Is there any chance that I could be pregnant? I'm showing all my regular signs of PMS, but still no period.

There is still a chance of being pregnant. Give your period some time because it may be delayed due to another factor such as stress. If you are having doubts, I would suggest taking a pregnancy test. Good luck!

well i play on a premier soccer team all year long. this is our 2nd season together and i am known to be the loud, crazy and just always vocal person. lately there have been alot of cliques starting because of all the girls that come from diffrent schools.. any advice on how i can try to make these cliques dissapear? or any activites that would bring the team together as one?

Try and hang out with everybody on the team. Don't just talk to one group; talk to everyone. You can have a sleepover or movie night for all of you in order just to get to know each other better. Maybe people will realize that they have things in common with each other, and start breaking through the cliques.

Charlotte Russe, definitely. The dresses there aren't too fancy, and they also tend to be cheaper than most stores. I got a nice dress there for about $25. You could also try DEB or JC Penneys.

I’m a high school senior, and I’m playing a principle character (but not a lead or supporting character) in this year’s school musical. For most of my scenes, I have a microphone. There are only a few microphones so the principles have to share. All through rehearsal, I had enough time to swap microphones with my designated partner. However, on opening night, I didn’t, and I couldn’t get my microphone on in time. It fell out of my dress while I was onstage. I pretended like it wasn’t even there, and this angered my director.

What should I have done? Is it better to break curtain, or to break character? And what should I do if it happens in subsequent performances?

I think you did the right thing. That's what we do in dance performances if a hat or other prop falls. See what your director would have preferred you to do, and get suggestions on what you could do better. Maybe you can find a way to secure so it probably won't fall, or have someone help you if you don't have very much time. Hope I helped.

I have to give a speech in fron of the whole class next week, and I'm absolutely terrified. I am really bad at speeches. I start shaking and I can't read my notcards. Does anyone have any suggestions to help me get over my fear?

I am the same way. I start to speak and my voice cracks, and it's just not good. What I do is just pretend I'm practicing at home in the mirror. If you can, try to have something to do with your hands to keep you "occupied", like making gestures or holding a pen. Practice a lot beforehand so you definitely know what you're reading. There basically is no way to win him over. If he's going out with your friend, then he likes her. Maybe it's time to move on and find someone new; you don't want to fight with your best friends over some guy. Guys just come and go. There are many more opportunities out there. I'd like to start a tradition with the theater that I'm in. Any good suggestions and ideas?

You can have a cast party after your shows, if you don't do that already. Have pizza and that sort of thing, and if your play is taped, you can watch it. Maybe, if you know when the theater was opened, you can have a "birthday party" for celebrating the many plays and such. Hope I helped. ♥ Kristen
