15/f. Sophomore.

I took the PSAT about a week ago. There was only critical thinking/reading, math, and I'm not sure what the other section was called, but it was like grammer and choosing the right word. Are these the only subjects on the SAT? What about science? History?

On the math test, there was multiple choice, and then there was fill in. It was if you missed any math that wasn't multiple choice, it wouldn't count agaist you. How can it not count? What's the point of it?

One last question. What's a good score to get? A bad one? How many is it out of?

Any answers appreciated.

Science and History are covered on the ACT, but not the SAT.

The reason that they count things against you is to offset random guessing. If you guessed on them all, got 1/5 right, you would get a zero on the test proving that you know nothing. Since you can't just choose a letter, they don't penalize you for guessing.

Each section is out of 800; good scores are usually 650 or so and up. Bad is less than like 500.

I'm looking for information about the Roxy theatre on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA.

I've searched all over the internet, and these questions are probably only answerable by those who have been to the Roxy.

For concerts, is admission all ages?

Because of the bar upstairs, must you be 21 to get in?

Is there an interior lobby?

During concerts, do they sell refreshments? If so, where?

Any other information you can give me about the layout and such about the Roxy would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for this information, in particular, for research on the Jonas Brothers Concert there on July 31, 2007.

It depends on the show. A lot of bands make it 21 plus just so they don't have to deal with the whole alcohol thing.

People are always insulting me and my friends about watching Naruto, Bleach etc... They say its a baby show. First off, it is not. There's porn in it, for God's SAKE!!!!!!!!! What do I tell peopel who tease me and my friends? I tried to ignore it, but now it's just pissing me off. I'm obsessed with anime. So are my friends, we shouldn't be judged should we?!

I have A.P Euro, and for the first marking period, there's a large chance I will get a C on my report card for that class. Will it affect my GPA DRAMATICALLY? I have a 3.8999 etc.

i mean i know black girls are black,but asians/latins and whites are from brown to red to pink,why is that? or do the nipple colour gets darker as they grow older?

It does have to do with the same pigmentation as skin and hair. Melanin, I believe.

The color doesn't necessarily change as girls age, though it can.

I'm thinking about colleges and Im trying to narrow it down from like a million. Im a junior in highschool and I want a college that balances fun with studies and I want to become a doctor but i dont want to do pre-med, probably something with social sciences. I want a challenge but also good parties on the weekends and stuff. My current GPA (before entering junior year) is 3.9. hey i want to major in animal behavior, what are some good school that have that major, i know that its not all that common. The only college that i know of now that has it is Bucknell. I have a few math problems I forgot how to do. If you only know how to do one of them that's fine. Thanks in advance.

1. What does this mean? "What is the slope of the linear equation 5y-10x=-15" How do you figure it out?

2. If x = 2a - b2, how do you figure out what "a" equals?

3. How do you figure out what the slope of the linear equation 5y-10x=-15 is?

1. The slope of a line is the angle at which it "goes," for lack of a better term.

I will do a similar problem for you: 2y-4x=-6

First, you need to get it into slope-intercept form...y=mx + b.

Add 4x to both sides. 2y= 4x-6
Divide by 2. y= 2x-3

Now, you have the problem in slope-intercept form. Since your questions 1 and 3 are asking the same thing, this should satisfy them both. Here goes:

The "m" value (In the case of y= 2x-3, this is 2.) is the slope. The "b" value (In this case, the -3.) is where the graph crosses the vertical axis.




As for question number 2, you need to isolate a. I assume that by b2 you meant b squared. From now on, write b squared like this: b^2.

Yes, they were racist, but also anti-Semitic. They disliked Jews, but only just more than half of those persecuted were Jews.

You are right; Jewish is NOT a race. I am Jewish be faith, and by nothing else. My ancestry is Russian, Polish, and a liiiiiittle German, as is the same for most other Jews whose ancestors were Jewish. Israel is a country, and Israeli also is not a race. Middle Eastern best describes people of Israeli descent, many of whom are NOT Jewish.

There's not really ONE word for "religionist" it kinda just depends on which religion you're talking about.

I'm sorry if this is kinda long.
I've been going out with my bf for about 6/7 months now, and he was a virgin before and I wasn't. About two months into it we had sex, mainly initiated by me, and it's like he can't get enough of it! I just basically played up to it at first. About a month ago we had just had sex and I told him I loved him because I did. He went quiet for like a few minutes and then he said that he would wait until he truly meant it to say it to me, blah blah blah. This hurt me but as he was only being mature I just accepted it. Ever since then he never gives me any compliments that isn't to do with me being sexy or being good at something sexual etc, he although he does hang out with me if sex isn't involved I clearly get the vibe that he's not having much fun and if there is ever a possibility for something like that we WILL do it. I'm beginning to feel like I'm being used. He's also going to college soon and the idea befoer was that we'd keep it longdistance and now I'm not so sure. The thing is, I do genuinely love him, and I'm wondering if I'm just being oversensitive cos he didn't tell me he loved me - he's got a reputation as being this really nice and decent guy, and it's not like he pressured me into sex to start with! It would really upset me if I had to split up with him! There's this other guy I've been chatting to a lot recently who's really nice to me and I think he likes me for the right reasons as well - I would NEVER cheat on my bf but it's opening up my eyes to what's out there.
