A.P weight on GPA

Question Posted Thursday September 27 2007, 7:37 pm

I have A.P Euro, and for the first marking period, there's a large chance I will get a C on my report card for that class. Will it affect my GPA DRAMATICALLY? I have a 3.8999 etc.
I'm a sophomore and really worried. lol

It shouldn't. It should count as a B. As long as the rest of your grades are good, there's not much to worry about. Plus, colleges would rather see you getting B's in harder classes then A's in easier classes.

It will count like a B in any other class, so no, it shouldn't.

It will effect your GPA, but don't worry about it. You obviously work hard, and chances are you can raise your grade. Talk to your teacher and ask if there is anyone you can do to boost your mark, ie. extra credit assignments.
