I'm a freshman and I already had my first high school boy, "Tommy", he & I were perfect for each other, everyone thought we were gonna be high school sweethearts. We dated for almost 2 months, he had already told me he loved me and I truly loved him!
Later, he had heard some rumors about me that weren't true and he knew it, but instead, he listened to his friends. The next time we talked, he gave me a lame excuse and broke up with me. I was a mess, I cried myself to sleep for 2 weeks straight!
It's been about 2 months since we broke up, I felt like I was over him, but my close friend asked me if she could take "Tommy" to our winter formal. Now, I'm mad at myself for saying it was okay (she asked me if it was okay). Whenever I talk to her, I always get mad at myself for not saying no.
"Tommy" tries to make me jealous, but instead he makes me mad. He always asks me why I don't care about him anymore, he calls me and asks why I'm being so mean to him and stuff. I just don't care anymore!
How do I get over "Tommy"? I still love him, but I want to get over him so badly.

its not as easy to get over someone as you want it to be. i think that you still have feelings for him but you cant let that get in the way of his future. he chose to move on and you should too. the dance with your friend is just one dance; it doesnt mean that theyre gonna go off and get married. after the dance just let things mellow down.

16/f. Well my problem is with my boyfriend. He is 18 and I really do care about him. We have been going out for about 2 months and things are just not going so well. Like i said i really do care about him but it seems that our relationship is falling apart. The beginning of our relationship was what i thought was perfect. Well it's only been two months so i guess it is still the beginning, but still it seems like everything is starting to change, for the worse, and i can't stand it. I wanna be with him more than anything but its starting to seem like he doesn't wanna be with me. He barely answers my phone calls and never calls me, but when we do talk it seems like everything is fine until he starts acting like he doesn't wanna talk to me any more, which makes me feel kinda unwanted. We used to talk everyday and he would make me feel like i was the only girl in his life and nobody else matters, but recently its like im the only one who doesn't matter. I am just sooo sick of trying with him but i don't wanna loose him. It would break my heart if we didn't make it. Even when we were with each other in person he was so affectionate towards me and now it seems when ever i see him either he is too busy to notice me or he just doesn't want to talk to me. what should i do. i think you two being in 2 different grades is part of the problem. i really dont think that he knows that you care for him as much as you do. you need to find out if he cares for you too. i used to have that problem about 3 or 4 months into my relationship with my current boyfriend. but now things couldnt be better. you need to let him know that you care and that you are always there for him. make each other aware of your likes and dislikes. things do change and sometimes they arent always what you wish them to be. just tell him how you feel.
