Alright, so I really like this girl at my school. She will be a junior and I a sophmore. When I talk to her, I feel all nervous, but we still talk a lot and stuff. We aren't really good friends or anything, but we have a lot of the same friends. Although I haven't gotten a definate answer, some people have told me they don't think she likes me. I still really like her though, and I don't know what to do? I can't just stop liking her, but at the same time I know I probably shouldn't ask her out or anything. I think that she is so beautiful, although that is not the reason that I like her, and I feel this connection with her, as if we were going out or something. idk how to explain it, I've never felt it around a girl who "doesn't like me" before. Please tell me, what should I do??

Tell her you think she's beautiful and feel a connection you've never felt before. Some girls don't even notice a guy until they realize they like them. Then, their like wow, I could date this guy, it like triggers something in their mind I guess.lol Before you tell her this I think you need to talk to her more, hang out together, become better friends. She might think yur a little weird if u just come out and say it. If she doesn't like you I'm very sorry, but it's better to know now than to wait and make it hurt more. Good Luck!!!!

ok my best friend likes this guy who likes her too but there not going out becuase shes going away for a month during the summer. well im friends with the guy that she might go out with and i dont know why but i like him and of course i like her theyre my good friends but i dont like them together. its like a guy feeling that its not right and that its uncomfortable. plus if they break up what the hell am i going to do? im friends with both of them and the guy is friends with all of our friends, itll ruin our group! and make things awkward! what should i do, is this normal, and any advice you can give! thanks!!!!! You can't do anything, it's up to them, not you. If they break up, don't choose sides. Be there for both of them. Try to stay out of it as much as possible. Good Luck!

I have my drivers liscens already and have been driving my parents car for a while now. i asked them for a car of my own but they won't give me one because they think that i dont REALLY need one yet. they say if i want my own car that badley then i should buy one with my own money--but i can't cause i dont have enough money to purchase my own car. how can i make them see that i REALLY want my OWN car??

Try making a deal with them, do chores to earn your car. Maybe work your butt off all summer helping them and they'll get one for you. It'll show them you really want a car and are responisble enough for one. Then, if that doesn't work there's always jobs you could do, mow lawns, babysit, get a regular paying job. i am very fair skinned and so i do not tan naturally- i burn. well i've tried lots of different sunless tanning products in sprays, lotions, and foams in all the brands pretty much and i can't ever seem to accomplish an even tan. are there any tricks? thanks!

I am exactly the same way. No offence, but all the fake tans look gross. Just lay out every day for about an hour or two. You'll gradually get color, but you'll never be very tan naturally. Sorry, trust me I know it sucks!

Well there's also pro active like the person said below me, but if you don't want to spend that much there is clearasil. You can buy the cream that gets rid of pimples in three days. I wouldn't put the cream on all the time, it dries out your skin quick. Make sure you moisturize your skin! It costs about 10 bucks. Good Luck!

ok, I've been goin out with this guy for a little over 3 months, he's 16 and he can drive and I'm 15. It's summer so he's always tellin me how he's really buisy, I never see him anymore b/c he says he's always gone... in someways he sounds a little "overly" buisy. He lives like 8 minutes away from me, and he's only come to see me one time ALL summer. When we first started goin out I liked him sooo much that I made the mistake of telling him i would never break up with him... I would talk to him. Tell him you want to hang out more, and when you do see if you still really do like him. I'd also tell him if he can't find time for you, you won't wait. Yes, I thought it was very good, some of the kids my age didn't care for it, I guess it depends your maturity and age. I read it this year when I was 13. Its about a trial between Tom Robinson and the Ewells. The Ewells claim Tom raped Mayella, but Tom did not. It's about racial differences. The book is in the perspective of Tom Robinson's lawyer's daughter Scout and how she and her brother react to the trial and deal with everything that is happening around them. I hope you enjoy it!

My friends always tell me im pretty and that im the skinniest out of all of us whenever i say im fat or that im ugly or hate my hair and things like that and i dont know if they are doing this to make me feel better or not? what do you think?

I have the same problem, and I'm NOT trying to annoying my friends either about how ugly or fat I think I am. It's because sometimes your confidence gets so low you need some reassurance. I would look them in the eyes and ask them if they meant it. I doubt your friends are lying to you. I'm still working on the same problem you have, I face it daily so I know what your going through. I smoke but I want to stop. I dont want to buy the gum or patch I just want to do it naturly. I didnt need anything to help me start so I dont need anything to help me stop. The other day i went with out a cig for a day but then the next day I wanted one. If I am not around them I can deal with it better and dont think about them. The problem is my family and friends smoke so I am mostly around it how can I stop smoking

You need to clean your house out and car out so you don't smell the smoke anymore. It's going to be very very hard to quit naturally. If by chance you decide you can't do it naturally, I would go get your ear zapped. It's where they zap you in the ear, it's worked great for a lot of people for smoking and dieting. It sends messages to the brain to make you not want to smoke. You can get it zapped as many times as you want as long as you don't start to smoke again. Just keep trying. Good Luck!!!

ok so here is the deal. there is this guy me and him are close friends and what you would call "friends with benefits", but i want more than that we have talked about having a realtionship and i know that he likes me and i like him. but it is the same old same old, he says i am not ready for that, you need to be with someone who deserves you. i told him i thought he meant i did not deserve him and he said that i had it all wrong. that all it was, was that he did not have the time and energy into making a relationship work. what the hell does that mean. he said darlin if it meant to be it will happen. can someone please help.

I'd stop being "friends with benefits" with him!! If he has the time and energy to kiss you and do other stuff then he should have the same energy for a relationship! I'd tell him if you want me you've got to respect me, not just use me to make out or w/e. If he truly likes you he'll repsect you and go out with you, but it sounds like he's using you. I'm sorry!! 16/f I think that I have a crush on my best friend. I've been really good friends with him for about 5 years now, but a couple of weeks ago we went to prom together and a little lightbulb went off in my head. Now I can't stop thinking about him, dreaming about him, wishing that he were more than just my best friend. He's going off to college soon, but I really really want something to happen before he leaves. Any ideas on how to get my best friend to like me back? I don't think that he has any idea that my feelings for him have changed, and I'm afraid that I'd freak him out if I just told him the strait truth.

I would flirt with him and be extra nice to him to try and hint it. If he doesn't get the hint just talk to him. Maybe start off by saying yeah I like this guy, but I'm afraid he'll freak out if I tell him, what should I do? Do something like that to get his opinion on it. Then say, I'm talking about you. If he's your best friend he probably won't freak out or make you feel crazy. I'm sure of it. Good Luck!!

I have been with my girlfriend for 8 months, I honestly do love her. Whenever I tell her I love you she says I know like it's not a big deal or something, now whenver I tell her I love you she says I think you love me for the wrong reason, it hurts me when she says things like that, not once has she told me she loves me back. I think she's afraid your going to hurt her, this is from my own experience. She might have had previous relationships where she got hurt and used. If not, talk to her and tell her how you feel. She may not realize she is hurting you or coming accross like it doesn't mean anything to her. Good Luck!

Just tell him you feel self-concious and that your afraid he'll be embarassed of you. I've done that w/ some of my boyfriends when I felt self-concious and they really reasure you that they love you the way you are and that you may think your stomach is big but they don't! Or, I'd consider talking to someone, a guy friend, or just a friend about it. It'll make you feel better! Also, your boyfriend I'm sure isn't going out with you for your looks and if he is DUMP HIM!! Hey. I need some advice. really. I honestly dont know what to do. Here is my story of A friendship mysteriously gone with the wind.

I am bestfriends with a girl named sam and amanda. Alecia is also my friend.

One morning while i was getting ready for school sam had come over and said "Annie we need to talk somthing happened between me and amanda"
I said Okay. Sam usually goes to amandas class room before school because her mom is a teacher. Amanda had told sam that she felt "there friendship was slipping away and that sam shouldnt come early in the morning to her classroom anymore." I was a little confused but i blew it off. I figured i'd talk to amanda. So the next day Me and Sam sat down at our regular table with Alecia, Amanda, Ellen, Kayla, and Falicia. When we were done eating we walked out (just me and Sam). We walked by a corner and Alecia and "the gang" (amanda ellen kayla kandace and falicia). The gang walked off and alecia talked to me and sam. she said "Hi um we were all wondering why you guys were sitting at the table." i said "What?" alecia said "didnt sam tell you?" (i played dumb and said,) "no what did sam need to tell me" and alecia told me about the whole amanda situation and that "She did not want to be friends" I said "well if thats what amanda wants then i think i should talk to her, it doesnt seem like her to do that" and alecia says "Well amanda isnt rude like that so she told me to tell you" then everyone walks over and i say "Amanda whats going on?" Amanda says, "I just dont like the way you guys act around eachother [me and sam]" alecia says "Yeah sam i dont want to be friends with someone who always acts stupid and you guys talk about sick things" amanda says, "Yea sam you never used to act this way and neither did you annie" and the convo goes on and on. Well anyways. Ever since Sam and I have become really good bestfriends amanda has gotten really jelous. I honestly dont give a rats tail about alecia because shes really cold hearted and im not sure i liked her in the first place. But what do you think? I might call her but i dont know. HELP please!

Just keep doing what your doing, hanging out with Sam. It'll piss Amanda off. She's just trying to make excuses to make herself feel good by putting you guys down because she's jelous! Forget them, branch out and make newer better friends. She sounds like a bad friend. Forget her. I wouldn't talk to any of them, cept for Sam because Amanda should be calling you up apologizing to you! You deffinately didn't do anything wrong and their not worth your time.
