i am the same...i hardly ever tan...all i do is put an even amount of sun screen on then also put tanning oil on, then just stay out it the sun for a while. I really dont think the fake tans look good so i would just spend a lot of time outside with sun screen on so u wont burn but also tanning oil on over it, it worked for me and i hope it will work for you !
sincerly,
Katie

heya.

I recommend you use a spf15 at least!, also the best product is Piz Buin, it comes in a brown bottle, its slightly more expensive than other sun tan oils but its the best, doesn't even let pale english skin burn! i definatley recomend it

i'm very fair too, and those lotions just turn me orange. i tan in a tanning bed. i start in march then i stop when summer comes. but summer i am tan'ish and i'll tan in the sun. you might want to think about that for next summer.

but for now i would just use a high spf oil. and just reapply it a lot of your outside a lot and if you burn a little either put on a higher one or go inside for a while.

best of luck ♥

Hey! You might want to try going to a tanning bed. I personally don't do it because it highers the risk of getting skin cancer. ( but so does laying out in the sun anyways.)I just hear tanning beds are worse for you. But anyways, do you ever watch The Real World? They run Mystic Tan or something and their was an episode where they all went in and got a spray on and came out to show everyone. It looked really good on them, so maybe that would help. If you don't wanna spend the money then lay out for an hour a 2 a day with a mp3 player or something to keep you busy.

I am exactly the same way. No offence, but all the fake tans look gross. Just lay out every day for about an hour or two. You'll gradually get color, but you'll never be very tan naturally. Sorry, trust me I know it sucks!

either go to a tanning booth or when you lay out use vegetable oil instead of tanning oil or sunscreen.

Don't bother trying to get a tan if you have fair skin. a lot of people would kill to have fair skin, i would. i used to live up in the mountains and my skin was pale but when i moved to the coast my lower arms and legs got darker than the rest of me EEEEK!

Get a Mystic Tan, but make sure you rub it in good.

Hope I helped you a lot!
