First off I'm 14 8th grade same with the guy im tlking about)Anyway here is the story: I met this amazing guy in october at a football game and have not spoken to him sence.(he goes to a different school)Yesterday during my class trip to hershey park I saw him and we hung out together the entire time. He diched all his firends and just hung out with me and my firends the entire time. I really like him but its really werid. He basicaly does all the talking, I can't ever think of anything to say, we go to different schools and that blocks some points of convesation. He is also extremly popular in his school and well in mine, im not. He wants me to go to the movies with him tomarrow but i think im gonna say no and go next weekend. I'm just really nervous, he might expect to make-out with me, I never even had my first kiss. I really don't want to make out with him...at least not yet. Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong category, but I wasn't sure what to put it in.
Well, to start things off, I'm very self conscious. I think I am fat & ugly & just not a cool person.
Last night, I was at the pool & I was wearing a bikini. There were two of my guy friends there & one of my girl friends. I started feeling really self-conscious & I sat on the step of the pool [still in the water] hugging my knees. My two guy friends asked my friend what was wrong with me, so she came over & talked to me. They found out that I thought that I was fat & started rambling on about how I wasn't fat & how if I was any skinnier that I'd be anorexic...etc. It helped a bit but I still feel so self-conscious.
Now, for the guys on this site, do ya'll think really confident girls are attractive? or the more humble quiet ones?
& How do i get to feeling better about myself? I hate being the party pooper when it comes to swimming & such. Anyone got any good advice?

I cheated on my boyfriend, Trey about a week ago. I am absolutley in love with him but we got into a huge argument and he said some really mean things so I went off and hooked up with this one kid that he totally HATES just to make him mad. Well, he didn't end up finding out and the night before last he called me and apologized and sent me a totally sweet email, and so I felt like I had to tell him the truth so I did and he started crying and then I started crying and I felt soooo bad.

i am very fair skinned and so i do not tan naturally- i burn. well i've tried lots of different sunless tanning products in sprays, lotions, and foams in all the brands pretty much and i can't ever seem to accomplish an even tan. are there any tricks? thanks! (link)

My cat has been gaging like he's going to puke but then he dosn't and he does it especialy when you pick him up. Also he's breathing out of his mouth. I know for sure that theres nothing stuck in his throat... and the weirdest part is that my other cat is starting to do it now too. Does anyone know what might be causing it. Hey. My mom won't let me buy tanning oil because I'm fair, but my arms have a little tan. She says I will burn wayyy easy. I saw one with spf 15, but she still wouldn't let me get it. I don't want this to be long or panic-y, but I need some advice. My friend and I are 13. There is a 17-year old across the street who is 17 and a juvi. My parents think he is 18, but really isn't. We played basketball with let's call him C, and we got his number. We hung out with him and we lied about out ages and we said we were 15 and 16. We lied about where we go to school and everything, and now we're hanging out with him. I've been lying to my parents about where we going and everything, but here is the main problem. I'm going into 8th grade this fall, and getting on the bus (right in front of my house!) in the morning is no big, but when the bus drops us off, it's 3:50pm. Big problem, because C smokes, and has to go outside and smokes. What if he sees us? I really hate to lie to everyone around me, and the lies keep getting bigger. Should I be honest with C? My friend and I have been flirting big time with him, and that will ruin out friendship. And, the other problem, even though C is moving is September, I'll have started school, and his brothers go to my new school! What should I do as an overall result? Thanks so much! (link)

Okay I went out with this boy a grade ahead of me thinking i liked him (Let's call him George). It turned out i didn't really know George so I dumped him three days later.
