Q: what are some zero calorie foods ?

all food has calories, but some burn more calories while consuming than they have in general.
they are, asparagus, beets, broccoli, carrots, green cabbages,cauliflower, celery, hot chilli peppers, cucumbers, garlic, green beans, zucchini, apples, cranberries, grapefruit, lemons, mangos, oranges, pinapples, rasberries, strawberries, tangerines, lambs lettuse, lettuse, onion, papaya, radishes, spinach, and turnips.

Q: FYI: I am a 20 year-old recent college grad. Both men I am referring to in this question are only slightly older than me and finishing their degrees.

"Joe" and I began dating 2 1/2 years ago. Our relationship was generally good when last summer (1 1/2 years in)he decided that he didn't want a serious girlfriend. Nothing mean or ugly, he was just being honest. I tried all summer to change his mind but finally gave. (We remained close friends.)

After dating around for a little while, I began seeing "Michael". Our relationship was somewhat rocky because we had both come out of relationships and he had been hurt many times before. During this time, Joe began to develop interest in having a relationship. I thought it over and eventually decided to try things again with Joe. (I stayed in close contact with Michael.)

Joe and I have a really easygoing relationship, but he refuses to discuss a more serious commitment. When we discuss it, he says he doesn't see us going in that direction at this point but is always careful to avoid losing me entirely. In the past few months, Michael has attempted to see other people to no avail. He is convinced that I am the only one for him. We have been getting along beatuifully, and Michael has done everything he to prove to me that we belong together. (Both are fully aware of each other and the current status.)

Michael wants me to leave Joe and become engaged to him. (He's even looking at rings.) I am seriously considering this. I love both men very much (in somewhat different ways) and could she myself happily married to either (in 2-5 years). The difference here is that Michael is willing to commit and Joe is not. Both have treated me very well; although Michael is romantic (flowers) while Joe is considerate (fixs my car). Is there any point in continuing to wait for Joe or should I leave him and accept the proposal from Micheal?

if your un sure about marrring micheal, you shouldnt do it.
marriage is a very important commitment, and it isnt something to toy around with. ALthough divorce is an option, marriage is suppose to be a sacred union, much unlike hollywood makes it seem.

unless you are 100% sure you love micheal with all your heart and ther is no one else youd rather see, you shouldnt marry him.

i think you should just remain close to both of them until you are sure of what you want to do.

Q: Okay. I kind of need a quick reply, please...

My best friend went out with a boy (we'll call him Shawn) for 7 months. She was head over heels for him. But then while she was on vacation he called and broke up with her through a VOICE MAIL.

Well, her best friend (we'll call him Mike) was there for her through it all. Now, being a bystander in this, I could tell mike had feelings for her. And recently he asked her out. Mike and Shawn were best friends...and as soon as shawn found out he began calling my friend wanting her back. It's been 4 months since they broke up, and I think he just doesnt want her with Mike...what should she do?

the fact that shawn broke up with her through voicemail, says alot about him. he seems like a coward, and doesnt care about her feelings. plus i also think he only wants her back because his best friend is dating her (im assuming he is, you didnt specify).
but this mike kid sounds like a keeper. he was there for her when she needed him, and seems to care about how she feels alot. and also, dating his bestfriends ex, is kind of against the guy code, so that means he'll bend the rules for her.

i think mike is definaly the better choice.
and she and mike should both talk to shawn and tell him that she doesnt like him.

Q: what was so bad about spiderman 3? i enjoyed it very much. what was crappy about the plot??

personally i think spiderman three was teh most amazing movie in the history of the universe.
me and my boyfriend saw it 3 times together. haha

some people didnt like it because they thought the acting was corny. but thats kindof what made it so great.. so idk.

Q: ohkay so my friend kelly just recently introduced me to one of her friends nick. The first time i talked to him i knew their was something about him. he made me smile all the time and we would spend hours on the phone every nite talked about stupid random stuff but i loved every minute of it. so the other nite i was talking to him and hes like hey hold on and he answered the phone and hes like hey ill call you backk. i asked who it was and he said kelly. i knew kelly liked nick so i was like ohh you should call her then ill go, but he was like noo i wanna talk to you. i knew kelly would really want to talk to him so i was like no its fine i have to go ne ways. so today i was online and kelly told me that nick asked her out and she said yes. shes my bestfriend and i really want to be happy for her. i have a boyfriend and i dont want to go out with this nick kid but i loved talking to him. i feel bad not being happy for my friend but i thought that now she was going out with nick i wouldnt be able to talk to him ne more...but i was wrong. he called me and i was really sad and he asked me what was wrong and i was like ohh nothing. but im really depressed because of this and i dont know why..i mean i have a boyfriend that i really like. sooo is it ohkay to talk to nick because he thinks its fine?? do u think it would hurt kelly if i talked to him??

if your friends with the nick kiddo, you can talk to him. your bestfriend shouldnt stop you from talking to her boyfriend. and your boyfriend shouldnt stop you from having other guy friends.

the way you write about nick, i think you do have feelings for him, but you wont admit it to yourself. sit down and write out what you like about him, and do the same for your boyfriend. you might end up liking him more than your bf.
if so, i think you should break up with your bf because its not fair to him if you like someone else, its kindof cheating emotionally. even if he is your bestfriends bf.

if youre going to listen to teh people down there with the situps, you have to do cardio first.
situps dont get rid of fat, they build muscle. and only doing situps would make your stomach look bigger.

so what you need to do:
-eat about 1000-1200 calories a day,
-do some form of cardio for 2-3 hours a day. (dance, swimming, running ect.)
-then AFTER you do the cardio, you can do situps like theyre suggesting.

dont cut junk food out of your diet, because then youll only crave it more. instead you can still eat it, just in moderation.

after you reach what you want to look like, stay on the same kind of diet, but eat 1800 calories a day OR do cardio 1-2 hours. that wasy you can keep the body you have w/out over doing it.

Q: If a pitcher makes his major league debut in the bottom of the ninth with the score tied, and his first and only pitch is a walk off solo shot, what's his ERA? Keep in mind he has one pitch, no outs, no innings, and has given up one.

to calculate the ERA the formula is:

earned runs/ each 9 innings piched

so since you can't divide anything into zero, he doesnt have a ERA yet, until he completes a full inning. but the one run should like carry over to the full inning.

Q: Ok so my boyfriend is in lots of sports and when ever the team wins his coaches take them out to Hooters. which i kinda have a problem with that cause i dont want my bf looking at other girls like that. and i no that its what guys do but it hurts me ive tried talking to him about it but he still keeps going anyways. you shouldnt have to worry about it, hes dating you, so he obviously likes you. not some girl at hooters. its just a resteraunt, not a strip bar, hes not watching girls dance on poles, hes watching them bring him food. and most guys will look at anything thats bringing them food. haha

and even if he does hit on a girl, you know its just for her looks, not who she is. he doesnt emotionally like her, like he does you. he just likes lookin at her.

no matter what, guys will look at girls, always. and putting him in hooters wont make him look at girls any more than he already does. im sure you and your girlfriends all look at guys at the beach and the mall, you should let him have the same liberty as you do.

hes not cheating on you, just lookin at come people that arent anything special to him anyways

Q: right now i have a 4.0 megapixel huge ugly digital camera with the smallest screen EVER. obviously, i really want a new one. i like taking pictures, and i'm looking for one with certain feautres like-
- 7.0 megapixels or up
- different modes such as outside,etc.
- video option with zoom (it's ok if there isn't zoom)
- my friend has a canon powershot, and it has a cool mode where you can swap colors, idk if canon's are the only ones that have that but i really like that feature.
- basically that's it, i mean i keep hearing all these things about how they find the face ya know like the one with your dad isnt a horses butt or something lol but yeah that would also be nice.

i'm really just looking for an upgrade to my old camera, i want a big screen with lots of features, that takes great pictures with different modes. i'm into photography but my current camera sort of prevents me from taking good pictures. also, i don't want a big bulky one. i want a nice shiny small one haha. and under like $300 if that's possible. so if anyone has any ideas, or has a camera that has all or almost all of these features just tell me because i'm getting so sick of my camera!! thank youu

Sometimes I narrate what I'm doing in my head. For example, when I got an instant message the other night, while trying to sleep, in my head I was saying "All of the sudden she hears an IM pulling her from her distant slumber and curiously gets out of bed to walk over to her computer to find out who that mysterious being is and why they beckon her at such an odd hour. As she is sluggishly making her way to the blinking box, she is almost tripped by a cold, black rod and thinks to herself 'Strange, I don't remember putting that there.' and continues on her journey...etc."

I do it ALL the time, not just at night. Is this normal, do I have an over-active imagination, or should I seek medical attention?

i dont think alot of people do that, but its defaintly not a big deal or anything. just a little something that you do.
you sound like youd be an excellant writter, to put your narrations to good use and write them down sometimes, you could probably make a great book.

sorry to say, but there is no way of doing this nicely.
you should probably tell him how you feel, you dont feel for him the same way and you really love him as a person, but not a signifigant other.

if he understands, youll be able to still be friends.

however, if he still has strong feelings for you he may not be able to be friends anymore. or at least until hes over you. because everytime he seees you all hell think about is how much he likes you and how he doesnt have a chance. so he might get depressed, depending if hes sensitive.

so the best way is to just explain to him how you feel, and dont end it in an argument.

Q: im 14 and ok im kind of a prude and believe no sex before marriage and you should wait for someone special before going out with them... especially when you're young... and my best friend is turning into a hoe. she got her first boyfriend, and i was reaally happy for her, but then on their first date they made out, and other people were around. they werent even going out for a week, and they didnt even kiss normally before that. then she wanted me to grind with her at the last dance, and i was like NOOO. i would only grind with a guyyy and if i had been going out with him for a while.

i know this is how like old people think, but i want a guy who cares about me, not just a guy that wants to do stuff with my body. and i dont care if i wait for that. but my friend is alwayss bringing up her bf and its soo annoying. she hasnt been a good friend for the past year either, although she says im her bff... shes been ditching me for her other group of friends a lot, but hangs out with me mostly in schol.

i am really sick of her and im afraid shes going to do something that she regrets... should i keep being friends with her, try to help her, or ignore those problems?

i think, that the best way to learn is from expirience. im pretty sure, if you tell your friend to do something she doesnt want to do, itll only push her away, even if you ARE trying to help. i doubt shell realize what your intentions are. shell want to find out for herself
and continue to act the way she does until something bad does happen. and once something bad does happen, shell react to it more because its not a scenerio, its for real. and shell know what to do if it ever happens again.
there are also alot of different types of people, some people make out with there bf/gf's on the first date, and others dont. you dont have to worry about it, at least shes not hooking up with people she barely knows.
you know that when i had my first bf, we didnt kiss normally until about a month of dating, but we made out alot before that. so its definatly normal.
i think maybe this new group of friends might be her influence for acting the way she does. and if your worried about her, you should stay friends with her. because im sure the way your thinking, believe it or not, is also influencing her to not be such a slut.(she really isnt) so if you stopped being friends with her she would probably turn more to the other group, and she could get worse.
the reason she hasnt totally turned into a slut is because she wants to be accepted b both sets of friends, everyone just wwants to fit in, and her changing more twords the slutty side than she was beofre is her way of conforming to them. but not going totally is her way of staying by you.
so your definatly a good influence on her.

so in short, she needs you as a friend, to keep her not totally slutty, and you should let her do her own thing. because you always will influence her whether you realize it or not.

yes that would work fine. my boyfriend is turning 17 mid june and im only 14. and we've been together for 2 months and we're vey much in love. as long as hes a good guy, it should work out great.

TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS.

sit down with them, face to face, and write down your issues with eachother. go around in a circle and figure out whats wrong and how you can fix it.

thats all you need to do.

Q: So I really love reading. :). My favorite books are New Moon and Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, and I was wondering if there were any other books like that that I'd be able to read.
I'd preffer the books to be about vampires, but I also love love stories, lol. Actually, I'll read anything if there's a love story part of it; I thnk that's what I like so much about Twilight and New Moon.

I've already read Kissing Coffins, Vampire Kisses, and Vampirates, lol.

I'll read in any age group, as long as it's not like, really girly girl young adult kinda stuff.

a totally amazing book, its called "looking for alaska" by john greene (i think thats the right first name, im not sure)
i just totally fell in love with it. its really contraversial, if you read the back it sounds really gay. but its great, its about suicide and drugs and stuff. it really makes you think.

ska : reel big fish, the aquabats, the flaming tsunamis, the specials, the skatalites, mad cadies, beat soup, sublime and the toasters are all good.

punk: blink 182, goo goo dolls, guttermouth, smashmouth, nirvana, pixies, relient k, simple plan, marron 5, sum 41, taking back sundays, buck cherry, 3 days grace, the cure, and the flaming lips.

Q: why has the australian flag have the british union jack on it? :S

because austrailia used to be a penal colony for britain. meaning it used to be a colony that they put fugitives and criminals on. therefore, when austrailia got its freedom from britain, the majority of its citizens were british, and wanting to stay somewhat faithful to their origins, kept the british union jack on the flag.

thats also why the accents of britain and australia are so similar
