Words of advice on love:
- Don't ever let someone tell you that you are not in love.
- If you say that you THINK you're in love, then you aren't. If you really feel it, then you are.
- Never let someone judge your relationship unless they know FACTS.
- To me, age is not an issue. If you are 13 and dating a 30 year old, then it's a big deal. If it's 5 or 6 years, not a big deal.
- If you are being abused mentally/physically GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP! Don't give the excuse that he apologized. If he loves you he wouldn't do that to you.

I'm not a fan of answering questions that are listed in the FAQ. If it's a question you can look up on Google then please, look it up on google. Don't be lazy.

Under the Welcome, (Your screen name here) you will see where it says "Edit answers". Click on that, find the question you want to delete, highlight everything you typed and delete it and then press the button that says "Edit answer" And, vouala, you're answer is deleted.

I suggest you don't cut your wrists at all because, like many others it will lead to suicide which will either have you end up A) in the hospital for 8 months or B) six feet under. Get help.

Is there anyway to make your metabolism faster?
How about slower...like what makes it slower? I've heard eating too little actually does that? Some information here, please.

Well you can't do anything to make it faster or slower. It gets slower with age. The older you get and the more food you eat, the fatter you'll get. They have pills that supposidly "boost" your metabolism. If you exersize alot you'll burn more fat which is like your metabolism being faster.

Im going to get a get a haircut later tonight and i was thinking about getting my hair deep conditioned. Im not really sure how much it costs so does any body know like an estimate of how much it could cost me.

They aren't THAT expensive, but depending on the type of place you go to, it can get pricy. Mine was about 25 dollars but I have very thick, long, and dry hair. It will probably be cheaper for you. And there is always another way to find out, just call your salon and ask them. It never hurts to ask.

I'm pregnant but I don't know if the guy I'm with is the father. I cheated on him with my ex, along the sametime as I got pregnant. What do I do? Well, you have to tell your boyfriend that he may not be the father. You should apologize for cheating on him and you MUST keep saying that it was stupid, you were being stupid, it should have never happened, you were an idiot, etc. You can actually get early paternity tests while your still pregnant. I'm not 100% sure about how many months pregnant you have to be to tell, but you can always go to the doctor to find out. And telling your mother is going to be hard. It will be a let down for her and she will be disappointed, also, you're 18 years old which means that you are a legal for everything but drinking, so she really can't force you to do anything about it. You have to tell her oyu made a mistake, because it was. We all make mistakes but some are just bigger than others. A baby just happens to be the biggest mistake but for most people, the best mistake ever. You need to talk to your boyfriend and tell him what you did. And if you say "You know I love you right?" He'll automatically know you cheated on him, because that's what everyone says. Everyone. Sit him down and say I have to confess something, I made a mistake and I regret doing it and I wish I could take it back but I can't, but the baby may not be yours. It will hurt to say it. You have to keep apologizing over and over that you're sorry. But as for your mother, she will be disappointed in you but I'm sure at the same time, she should be happy because a baby is a blessing. There's this boy that I've known about 3 years. We used to not get along AT ALL but when I started taking the bus again, he started talking to me more and more and now whenever my friend gets off, he comes and sits across from me and talks to me. He also suggested we see a movie together but I don't know if he means JUST AS FRiENDS. People say he likes me but I'm not sure. I know I like him because my heart is always racing when I think of him and I dream about him and I know I have a crush but I'm unsure about the signals he's saying. Does the movies ALWAYS signal a date? Also, I can never really talk to him about "us" because there are all these other kids listening. =(

The movies doesn't ALWAYS mean it's a date date as in wanting to start a relationship kind of a date. One thing I'll tell you is to keep an eye on the way that he acts around you when you're at the movies with him. If he brushes his hand really close to yours, brush your hand back and eventually you'll hold hands, he might put his arm around you in the theatre. You don't want to assume anything because you'll make yourself look like a fool. But if at the end of the date, he leans in for a kiss, you'll know OBVIOUSLY that the date was meant to attempt at starting a relationship. Try calling him and talk to him about you guys, that way there aren't any people around you and you're in the privacy of your house. It sounds to me like he likes you. Until you go to the movies with him, take things slow and try to figure him out and talk to him more. I smell the start of a beautiful relationship! Take it slow though. Hope this helped. OK, I have been on Weight Watchers and I got down to 125 pounds. Well, on Sunday I splurged a bit because I went to the city and I had chinese food and today I went over my points a bit and had a grilled cheese sandwich..alright, well...now I'm 130 pounds. What's up with THIS?! how can i magically gain 5 pounds in 3 days. Is this just a trick of the scale?

It's possible. It all has to do with your metabolism. If you have a fast metabolism, you burn fat faster and it takes alot to gain weight. If you're metabolism is slower, you tend not to burn fat as easily and gain weight faster. Also, you may not have actually gained 5 pounds, your scale could be off balance. Check your scale to make sure it's on balance, if it is, then you most likely have a very slow metabolism, hence the reason why you gained 5 pounds in three days. Good luck to you.

Well, by her coming up to you and saying "I like another guy" is sort of a sign that she wants to break up with you. You shouldn't have to put yourself through that if she likes another guy. Dump her ass! It's okay to still like her, but you shouldn't be with a girl who likes someone else. My suggestion is to break up with her and try to move on. It's her loss.

well this might be kinda long cause it needs a lot of explaining so im sorry but here goes...
i met a guy a long time ago and he was like...head over heals for me...at the time i didnt like him so i brushed him off, telling him i was interested in another guy.
it was only a bit ago that i realised how much he really did like me - he remembered everything and was so nice and kind and always there for me - an ive realised how much i appreciate that. he has now moved on and likes other people and i think i have feelings for him. now were like best friends and i cant tell him coz i dont wanna ruin things.

I'm not going to say that you've missed your chance with him 100% because who knows, he could still have a thing for you but just won't say anything about it. You should tell him how you feel and tell him that you made a mistake and that you want to give him a chance at a relationship. I'm honestly a little confused with your question because maybe I'm reading it wrong but, I'm sorry if this is irrelevent to your question. But I don't really think that you LOVE the guy because, trust me, when you're in love you will know. (It said for the Subject "in love?") Believe me, you will hear for a while from people "When you're in love, you'll know" and you'll get frustrated with it as many girls have and will, but believe me you will know. Think of it this way, 50 dollars an hour, for what? 3-4 hours? That would be 150-200 bucks. Your friend can get a better gift from you. I'd baby sit if I were you, she said it was okay for you to babysit so, go for it! You can get her a nice present to apologize for not being able to make it to her party with the money you get from baby sitting. Hope this helped.

Wow, a 10 year old making out with someone in school? Yeah I'd have to say that is pretty wrong. All I can tell you is that you need to keep looking. And I know you don't want to hear "you're day will come" but honestly, it will. You're being impatient and trying to be like all of your friends and having a boyfriend just like all of them. You need to take your time and see what's out there; in other words, go "boy shopping". You know what window shopping is right? The same concept but with boys. You need to see what's out there and if you see something you like, flirt a little with him, and don't try to rush a relationship on him yet. You're still young and TRUST me. I've been there wanting a boyfriend when all my other friends did. And, to be honest being single is ALOT more fun than having a boyfriend. You're not waiting by the phone waiting for him to call, and you can just go out and flirt with whomever you want not having to worry about having a boyfriend getting pissed off at you for flirting with another guy. Just calm down and try not to rush things. Look around for a guy that YOU think you will be able to have a great relationship with. You can't rush things. Some girls that I know are 17 and still have not had a boyfriend nor have they had their first kiss. You want your first kiss to be special, with someone you really like and you want to savour the moment. Keep looking!! You will find someone! Honestly, just be patient.

To be honest, I've gotten that line once and I've said it once. Basically it means that they still love you as a person but just doesn't want to be commited. They want to go out and have fun without having, I guess you can say the "baggage" of having a girlfriend or a boyfriend. The just don't want to have the extra pressure of having to please someone else. They probably just want to focus on themself. That's when I used that line. I just wanted to have time to myself and I didn't want to have the pressure of having a boyfriend. The best I can tell you is to try to have fun, and move on. There are many gorgeous guys out there that are waiting for you. You just need to be patient! You'll find one. Hope this helped.

Less homework, less strict rules for dress code, allow the use of cell phones in lunch, begining of the day and the end of the day, more locker privalages (if you don't have enough already). Bring down the cost of lunch, more sports, better sports equipment, new school supplies. Allow students to wear hats, as long as they are not offensive in any way. That's all I can think of! It's your mom, she's not gonna care. That's what a mommy is for. No need to go to the doctor though, go to the drug store and in the antipersprant/deoderant section get this stuff called Certain Dri. It's about 7-10 dollars and it works GREAT. It's not embarassing, lots of people are the same way. Hope this helped.

Yes, all girls have it but with some girls you can't see it. Don't shave it though because it grows back really thick and coarse. If it's bothering you, tweeze it but whatever you do don't shave it off! Hope this helped.

i was just wonderin... well i just got my period for the first time yesterday and i wanted to know how many pads your supposed to go trough it one day?

It really all depends on how heavy you're getting your period and the thickness of a pad that you're using. But you should really change it every 2-4 hours. Some girls keep theirs on all day which I find completely disgusting, I change my tampons every 3 hours and you should do the same with pads. Kotex is the best to use just as a little tip (in my opinion anyway) If you decide to wear tampons eventually, you can wear them during the day but at night, take it out and wear a pad. Just a few little tips I learned in the 4 years I've had my period. Hope this helped!
