My name is Teza.. short for Tereza. I was born in Croatia and I speak more than one language. I'm 22 years old & I completed 2 college degrees in 3 years. My a bachelors is in Business Administration concentration in Human Resources and my Masters degree is also in HR.



I started this advice column about 9years ago and I was so young but it was something that I always loved to do. I am trying to get back to answering questions, at least a few per day. With that said, if you have questions about school, friends, make up, etc., feel free to ask.

Hey, Im a 16/f and recently i stayed over and one of my guy friends house, and we were fooling around and ended up having sex, and he told me he wanted our relationship to stay as friends but still be able to do things like that. Do you think thats wrong?

I wouldn't say it's "wrong" but it's pathetic. I know you guys are friends with benifits and all, but he doesn't really respect you. He wants to have sex but not a relationship. If you're willing to put up with it and do that, then it's not wrong or anything. It's really up to you.. no one else.

Hey guys. Right now, I'm a bit sad. For as long as I can remember, my number one priority in life has been softball. It's all I ever wanted to do. When, I lived with my mom, it was all I ever DID. I moved in with my dad when I was about 9, going on 10. I still played softball, and I still loved the game with all my heart. I made all-stars every year I played. Then, one year after we lost a game, my all-star coach made us practice right afterwards. We were all too hot and worn out, and my dad was furious with this, and told my coach I quit. This happened when I was about 12. Ever since then, I haven't made the all-stars team, and I see myself becoming worse and worse. I would do anything to play softball in college, but I don't think I'm going to make it. I'm now going to be a sophomore in high school, and I'm on the high school team. I want to get better, and help myself. But I don't know how. I also need confidence, something I lack tremendously. I'm going to the World Cup of Softball in July, and I just want to be able know that there's a chance I could be there one day. Maybe not on the Olympic team, but a college team, one that is highly respected, like the Texas Longhorns. It is my dream to play for them. I guess I'm sad because I know I'm not going to make it to where I want to be with softball. I don't really know what my question is, but could someone just help me?

You need to stop saying that you're not good enough and that you will never make that team. You don't know that. If you think that you're not as good as you used to, practice twice as hard. Practice makes perfect and since you love softball so much, I think that you will play in collage. You need to be confident in yourself and that you can do it. Yeah you might be behind a little, but that doesn't mean that you won't ever be as good as you used to. So, like I said. Just practice. You already love the game, so instead of worrying about missing one or two things, think of it as an oppritunity for yourself to get better. Does that make sence? You're really good at softball and you know you are but you just need to be confident that you can and will be better. Don't be so hard on yourself. Have fun and relax when you're playing. You'll end up fine and have a good attitude about it. I guess you know how much confidence is important so someday, you will play in collage.

I have horrible cramps. They are so bad I can't stand up straight and I'm almost in tears. How can I lessen the pain? I tried ibuprofen but it's not helping and a heating pad doesn't work either.

I usually always get bad cramps so all you have to do is move around. Walk around, take a hot bath. You can also just lay down and put a heated patch on your stomach. It usually helps. Eat something and then take Advil and take a nap. Just relax and they should go away. Feel better. =]

hey, firstoff i just wanted to let you know that i think its so fucking awsome that you dont care what people think. and i think you earn yourself respect just by living with that attitude.

anyhow, my little dilema is with my boyfriend. i see him like once a week because he lives a half an hour away. his parents are divorced, so he goes to his dads house lets say every other weekend. but the problem is that i think his dad dislikes me immensly. because he sometimes says stuff to my guy, and he like dosent like to come and pick me up for simple things such as the movies. he just annoys the hell out of me. i get annyoed to easily. i would really just like to let him know whta i think, but i cant because hes an adult and i have to respect that ..what can i do ?

First off, thank you for saying that. =) So, even though your boy friends dad annoys you and such, you shouldn't just come off and tell him that. You should respect him as an adult but also your boy friend. Is there a reason that he might not like you? Instead of not liking him, try to fix things up with his dad. It might be weird and all, but when you do see him say hi and just be nice and respectful. If it still continues to bother you, eather talk to your boy friend or his dad and let him know how you feel. Be nice about it. There is no reason that you shouldn't tell them how you feel so don't be scared about that. So, just try to fix things with his dad and maybe he'll see you in a different way.

Last night when i was at my boyfriends house and he asked me if i was bored with making out and i said a little, he agreed with me and im willing to do other things but im not ready for anything involving the 'areas' so i have no idea what we can do. do you have any ideas? oh yea and we have been dating for 4 months if that helps.

There's nothing else to do if you aren't going to use the "private" but if you're getting bored of making out there's oral but just take things slow. Don't do anything you'll regret.

I don't even know what my style is because I wear anything and everything so you should of told me what you liked. Anyways, you should wear jean capris with a cute top. Maybe a cami? & then wear flip flops or flats and then just do your hair & make up cute and you'll look great!

i bought 4 halter tops and i need to wear a bra but i dont know what kind to wear because i dont want it to show in the back.. help?! thanks

Sometimes people don't even wear bras with halter tops but that depends on how it is. You can wear a strapless bra and they have ones that are low cut .. I don't know how to explain but it's low in the back so you can wear it with dresses and shirts like that. If you don't have that you can also try those cup bras. I'm not sure what they're called though. Sorry if this wasn't much help.

what are some other exercises that i could do besides running to lose some weight??

Swimming is really good. Walking also. Other exercises like the balance ball, pilates and anything that keeps you moving.

My best friend ever is always ditching me for guys. Everytime Im on the phone with her, if she gets a call from a guy or even her ex-boyfriend who treated her really bad when they were going out. What do i do?

The best thing to do is just talk to her about it. She might not even realize that she does that. If you don't talk to her and tell her she's going to keep doing it and it's going to bother you more. She's your best friend and she will respect that you told her how you felt about it.

Does anyone know how to get rid of highlights? Mine have kind of faded but I want them to be gone quicker. Any suggestions besides going to the hair dresser?

I looked it up and tried to find something that says what you can do but there isn't anything expect dying your hair. You don't have to go to the salon for that and you can do it yourself. It won't damage your hair that much but use color treated shampoo after.

Okay, does anyone know if they still sell Mini Ipods? & if so, for how much? Or atleast if they do.. & if nanos are better.. i hear they break easily. I'm getting one for my birthday. & I'd like to know which ones better. Thanks!

When I went to buy an iPod I wanted a mini and they told me they didn't make or sell anymore. Nano iPods are better but they're tiny. I have a video iPod and even though it's bigger I think it's better. Mine was 320 but since they've been out for a while they're less money.
