is it normal to get your period once a month for only 3 days?

Yeah i get it to just like that, but if you keep geeting it at irregular times like you get a period every 4 weeks or every 9 weeks you should go to the docotor.

yep. Especially if youre just starting your period - they can be irregular. Periods vary. They can last 2 days or a week. It depends.

yes. usually when you start they're long and then sometimes they even out to only 3 days throughout the next year.

yes it can be normal. it just depends on how long you have had it, maybe your body is still adjusting. everyone is different. and also it depends on if you have had trauma to your stomache area like a carwreck, or fall or something like that. if this happens next month as well maybe you should just have a quick check up with your family doctor, or if you have a guy doctor and are not comfortable, then go see a girl doctor. but tell your mom first and just see what she thinks.
