Question Posted Thursday June 29 2006, 10:18 pm

Does anyone know how to get rid of highlights? Mine have kind of faded but I want them to be gone quicker. Any suggestions besides going to the hair dresser?

you can dye your hair one color if you want but be careful that your hair isnt damaged from highlights and if so then wait to dye your hair because it might start to fall out but if it does just use the shampoo nioxin it really works

Brunette: Rinse hair with a strong black tea, or black coffee.

Blonde: Mix 1 tablespoon lemon juice in 1 gallon warm water.

Red: Make a strong tea of rosehips or cloves, or use strong black coffee.

You should just dye your hair the color that you are now.You can do it bye your self at home it`s pretty easy. I heard of this one product ( I think it`s Loreal)it`s kinda like a brush & the hair color is in the brush. Just comb it throught yor head slowly are the highlights would be gone(If your a blonde with brown highlights you would get the blonde highlight color). You can just use it on your highlights so you don`t have to dye your whole head.

Here`s a site & I hope I helped! ♥

I looked it up and tried to find something that says what you can do but there isn't anything expect dying your hair. You don't have to go to the salon for that and you can do it yourself. It won't damage your hair that much but use color treated shampoo after.
