Hi, im wondering how to get pictures on my i pod nano. Do i need a special program or something?

no it's actually really easy & you need to use itunes. plug in your ipod & update it like you would update songs. where the playlists are listed on itunes, it should have an ipod with the name of it. you right click that & click options. there's a thing that says 'pictures' & you either make a folder for it er there's already one. usually they made one for you already. you see where its located, go to there, probably using my documents & put all your pictures in there. update your ipod like normal then you're set. if you don't use itunes (which you almost have to to use music anyway) then i don't think there's a way you can add pictures.

I took a picture on my cell phone. I want it on my computer. How can I transport the picture from my phone onto my computer??

there's a few things you can do-

1.if you have text messaging, open up the picture on your phone in your gallery. go to options & go to 'send photo'. after that it'll probably either show you the picture er something in that. mine has an edit button & a menu button. i click all the way down (it might scroll) & go to send. after that an area should appear that you can type in. put your email in there & send it.
2. if you don't have text messaging, you can't get the picture on your computer.

16.male I shaved yesterday for the 1st time with my dad's dry electric shaver. Before that I used those disposable gilette (sp?) razors, which meant using it wet and a bit of shaving cream. Well while I wasn't sure how to use it exactly, I ended up cutting the bottom of my chin and under my lower lip. Any tips for next time, to prevent this from happening? I'm not shaving that much off, so should I avoid using an electric one for the time being since I'm not doing my entire face? Thanks a lot, and will rate.

i'd say use an electric one when you're doing your whole face. it's probablyy a lot safer & then you won't have to worry about cutting yourself.

When I turned ON my ipod mini, i didn't even need to hold the button down, i just pressed the button and words came on the screen. does that mean i didn't turn it off good enough?

yeah either that er it froze while it was off. do you turn it off using the buttons on the ipod?? if you do, you should be going to the main menu, & then turning it off by pressing sleep. it saves battery & stuff.

How long does it usually take to tan? I`m have fairly pale skin and I do burn, but I tan also. If I stay out for about an hour, nothing happens, but if I stay out for much longer I get burned!?

depending where you live, it can take a few periods of tanning. like tan for an hour er two a day (safely), a few times a week. it definately doesn't take once er twice. you shouldn't go to tanning beds. they're really bad for you. also, you get a much faster tan if you swim first & then get out & tan. my bf told me that you should be wet when you tan & eat carrots before, because it makes your skin color darker. to prevent yourself from burning, you might want to use a light suntan lotion. also, you can do it in rounds sort've. don't stay in one spot for too long & don't lay straight out for a long time. try switching back & forth.

ok well i have a band myspace and im not a band or singer i accidentaly turned it into a band myspace but i dont like it i would really like to have a regular myspace again is that possible?

you can do a few things-

1. take out your band info
2. divide your myspace into sections. examples- you can have text boxes (www.htmlgoodies.com) i think this would be a good idea, because then you can have sections. one for music, one for pictures, maybe a survey, & then your comments & friends. it's actually really easy to do.

your myspace should be setup how you want it. if you want to start over you can, but that would have a lot of extra work. i think the text boxes are good & are very organized. you can also google other myspace codes.

ok so i like this guy and he lives like 4 towns away. which is like a 45 min drive. well my parents are letting me go because they are trying to trust me.

but heres the problem the guy i like that likes me to and we both know it. but the thing is sicnce my parents are trying to trust me my other friend is going to drive me there and i thought she'd be able to stay because they didnt want me there alone and be the only girl with his friend (and honestly neither do i). but then when i told him that my friend was taking me he said well i dont really want to see lauren on my birthday. when he doesnt even know her. i know he didnt mean it mean. but i cant lie to my parent because they always find out and if i lied and they found out it would be a reason not to trust me.

so baiscally my question is that how do i ask him if my friend can just stay so that he would understand.

explain it to him. you definately have to obey your parents & he should understand that. tell him that if he wants you to go, she has to come too. it's not like you have to bring her every time, but juss until there's a stronger trust. he should understand that. plus, if he really wants to be with you on his bday, it shouldn't matter who else is around you guys.

Hi, I really like this guy I used to work with. I've liked him for 3 years now. We used to have a little thing where we looked like we were going out but we weren't. Well he came over the past few nights and it seemed like he really liked me but since those few nights he hasn't called or talked to me. Can anyone tell me what they think about this and whether or not I'm just wasting my time on someone who is using me. What should I do?

no one can really say if he likes you er not, but by what he said it seems like he's interested in you, but juss shy. try getting to know him more. if you build a stronger friendship, sort out your feelings, & then tell each other, maybe you guys can become bf/gf. i don't think it'd be wasting your time. juss spend some more time together & see how you guys feel.

Okay, so on like MTV they have the commericals of "brand spankin new videos". Right before the videos they play a clip, and it used to be a guy running around dancing on a track wearing short shorts and a sweater. Does anyone know the name of the song he was dancing to?

i'm pretty sure the song was juss made for that commercial. since they aren't on anymore, i doubt there's a way you can figure it out. you could send an email to www.mtv.com & ask them yourself. i guess it's worth a try. i'm pretty sure that it was one of those short songs, not a full version, juss for 'brand spankin new' videos.

i know this is a stupid question but where do they sell the white pearl necklaces? everyone has them and they look sooo cute but i can't find them anywhere! i don't need expensive ones but just cute ones. if you could send me the website of the store that would be nice!

i bought mine at icing. it's a store off of claires, but you can get them there too. you can also go to macy's, jc pennys, american eagle, etc. i think they might be at target & walmart too. they're at a lot of stores in my area. the best place to look would be icing. you also might want to try random stores in the mall.

OKay im 14/f and my parents think im a 'good' girl and ive nevr done anything wrong and like im a good student and everythign but like i dont have a boyfrinds but me and this guy are getting pretty close and i want to get on birth control just in case anything happens(which i think it will) and my mom doenst know this guy and me and him havent gone base oral but i dont know what to do ??? how do i talk to her about getting on birth cantrol?

be open & honest. my friend has birth control juss incase. she went & told her mom about it. honestly, your mom will probably be happy you're getting birth control. i think that's responsible. it's not like you're going out, having sex with random people, & not using protection. juss tell your mom the situation & you rather be careful & safe, than not. plus, if you don't tell her & get it yourself, (which you can at planned parenthood), if she finds it in your room she might jump to conclusions. she might even want to talk to the guy. that wouldn't be a bad thing. she might be more comfortable doing that. also, she could see that you're responsible enough to be open with her & tell her so that you aren't hiding things.

okay, my boyfriend tried dip and says he's not going to do it again because it gives him a headache. he also talked about getting a buzz from it. can someone explain to me what exactly it does besides give you something gross to chew on?

i never had it, but we learned about it in health class haha =) everyone says it's not the taste er anything. well i guess you could get flavored but still, it's gross even looking at it. its the nico. in the chew. kind've like ciggarettes. people are addicted to cig because of the stuff in them, like people addicted to chew. it's basically the same situation. since i had neither, i can't tell you if it tastes good er anything, but im doubting it doesn't. you should ask your boyfriend about it. maybe he can explain it more.

on instant messaging, i want one of my pictures as my icon. usually this works okay, but not for some of the pictures, it says 'the image you have selected is too big. the maximum size allowed is 7168' .. even when i change the size of the picture to 50 x 50, it still says this. anyone know how to fix it!?

idk why it does that. it's annoying. if you load your picture on paint, tinypic, er photobucket, you can change the pic so its the exact size.

i downloaded limewire for my ipod and guess what... like a week later i got a virus. i did a virus scan and everything and it took it off.. but this is kind of weird because everyone is saying that it doesnt give out viruses. is something wrong with my computer since i got a virus?

limewire does give viruses. my friend got them & she had a really good virus scanner. it's not actually limewire itself, but you get your music from other people & places, so that's where the virus comes in. people who didn't get one probably got their music from a good source on limewire. it's probably not your computer at all. you might want to find a different program other than limewire.

im 12 and i dont shave my legs yet and its soo embarassing !! im just too scared and embarassed to ask my mom about it .. over here its been like 90 degrees and i`ve been wearing jeans! i can`t wear capris or shorts or anything because of my legs. and i just can`t talk to her it`s too embarassing. she doesn`t talk to me about this stuff so i don`t think that she`ll be bringing up the subject all of a sudden. helpp?!

definately ask her. she's a girl, she understands. you should definately talk to her about it & start shaving soon. i shave every day. you shouldn't be embarrased. she went through the same thing. juss tell her that your legs are getting really bad & it's too hot to wear jeans.

13/f, my grandmother used to be okay, never used to get into my way, always feeding us, and helping us. I went to this award banquet, and she didn't like what I was wearing. When she described what I should wear, it was a wedding dress. I explained that for this occasion, you just wear simple things, but she didn't listen. I went the way I looked anyhow. Everyone who passed us, she would say, you see how that person has that... and other what nonsense. She said how my breasts were sticking out. Bra or no bra, of course it would show, I have breasts, wouldn't the shape and size of it show? Now for graduation, she's forcing to dress up in some wedding gown thing. My mom had to tell her no. My grandmother thinks that I'm dressing the wrong way. What's her problem?

i definately would say it's the time period. you should wear what you want to & juss respect her as much as you can. i mean yeah, you're a girl, you have boobs, obviously you're going to have a shape. maybe you can find clothes that you like & she will like at the same time?? she's probably juss not used to the clothes today. really though, not a lot of places have conservative dresses er anything so it's kind've difficult to shop for stuff like that. don't worry about it too much. maybe you can find something that's inbetween.

Okay so I am really athletic and I play soccer on a higher type of team and I always have practice and we have to do things like run 5 laps, and sprints.. things like that. So anyways, my hips are so large! my hipbones like stick out so much. I would think that exercise like that would make them thinner but no they are just the same. Please help on how to make them smaller, I RATE 5'S TO ALL!!

blahh my hips are like that too!! mine is all basically bone though, so i can't really do anything. if you have extra skin there er some fat, try doing sit up twists, which is like a regular sit up but instead of going straight up, take your left/right elbow and touch the opposite knee. i heard that works. you could also keep runnning. if it's bone like i have, obviously you can't do anything about it.
