Words of advice on love:
- Don't ever let someone tell you that you are not in love.
- If you say that you THINK you're in love, then you aren't. If you really feel it, then you are.
- Never let someone judge your relationship unless they know FACTS.
- To me, age is not an issue. If you are 13 and dating a 30 year old, then it's a big deal. If it's 5 or 6 years, not a big deal.
- If you are being abused mentally/physically GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP! Don't give the excuse that he apologized. If he loves you he wouldn't do that to you.

When you first get your period, the first 3-4 years of having it, it's not on an exact schedule so basically you can get it at any given moment. Yeah, it sucks. After the first 3-4 years of having it, then it will be normal. It varries for alot of girls, their period could become regular the first time the get it or it could be 3-4 years until it's on a regular schedule. It all depends on your body. Don't worry, it's normal. Hope this helped.

I'm a girl and I'm 14. I'm attracted to the female body, but in an artistic way. I want to tell my friends, and show them some of my artwork, but I'm afraid they'll think I'm a perverted homosexual or something like that. Anyone have any advice on what to do or say?

It would be pretty immature of them to think that you're a perverted homosexual or something of that sort just because you are attracted to a womans body in an artistic way. A womans body is something that many many artists like to paint because lets face it, women are beautiful! A woman's body has the kind of curves that artists like to depict. A friend of mine (female) is an artist and the majority of her paintings are of nude woman. She too is completely facinated with the female body. You don't have to tell them anything if you don't want. Put it to them plain and simple- A woman's body is beautiful and you would understand that easier if you were an artist. Honestly, they can ask any artist in their school if they like to paint a woman's body just because of it's beauty. It's nothing to be ashamed of!

If he's threatening to rape you and shit like that then you need to call the police. Keep a conversation going and call the police and wait until they show up and just keep the conversation going on until they can track down who he is. Don't block him just yet becuase you want to get this asshole arrested first and by blocking him, it won't help the police any! But that would be the very first thing you have to do. I don't understand why she'd do that to you. If you're having a personal conversation with her about something she shouldn't send it to another girl and print out the conversation. That's not right. Talk to her and just ask her why she did it. She should really apologize to you for what she did because that's really not something a friend should do. If she apologizes to you then you can forgive her, but she really should apologize to you first.

Hey, i have had this girl as my girlfriend for a month and 3 1/2 weeks. But, we have not kissed yet, the main reason is, because we both have braces, i am affraid of all the roumours of linked braces that are going around. I get my braces off in June or July, and i am having her over tonight with a few friends for a movie night, should i got ahead and kiss her, or should i wait til i get my braces off and play it safe?

Who the hell told you that when two people with braces make out they get stuck? That's not true at all! A past boyfriend had braces and I still do, we kissed a few times and we never got caught. Yeah he made my tongue bleed because he was a really bad kisser and tried to bite my tongue for God only knows what reason, but our braces didn't get linked. It's impossible for that to happen if you really think about it. I would say go for it and kiss her! But the only thing is, making out with your girlfriend infront of your friends is very rude. Friends have done that to me and I find it very rude, so try to kiss her when you're not with your friends. My boyfriend and I sometimes get in like Hickey fights. He always gives me them but whenever I try to give him one it never works...Ive tried on myself at home before too and I think im doing something wrong. My question is exactly how do u give a hickey and do you know of tips to help it work better besides like biting?

It probably doesn't work because you're not sucking for long enough. Basically suck on his neck (or wherever you plan on giving him the hickey) for about 45 seconds, don't do like woosey sucking, suck on him like you're a vacume cleaner! If he has darker skin that would be why too. My boyfriend tries it on me all the time and it harly ever works. I can do it for like 2 second on him and he has a hickey the size of a quarter!

Near my armpit, I have a bump. Its about 1/2in by 1/2in. It looks like a buise but it, i dont know how to put this, its like, elevated. i have know idea what it is or how i got it. I've had it for about 4 months. The first month, when i squeezed it, a puss like fluid came out. But not anymore. It juts hurts when i touch it. Does anyone have any idea's on what it is?

It sounds like it could be a cyst. A cyst is basically a sac like "membrane" that has gaseous liquid on the inside of it. You need to go see a doctor because those things can be cancerous, and you'd need to get it removed. Good luck.

I'm a 14 female. I use to cut myself badly but stopped in the beginning of Jan. I haven't cut since. Every day i think about sucide. the people i'd hurt. those i wouldnt. my moods always tend to be shitty. I'm not sure if thats cause im 14 and a brat or if im possible depressed. I'm usually okay in school, in front of my peers. once i get home i feel completely lost. I've attempted sucide once, failed, obiviously. but i've never had a docter examine me. my parents do not believe in giving teens depression medicine. my parents and i have talked about the possible depression. i asked to see a Shrink. My parents agreed. That was 2 months ago. it has not been brought up agian. my parents this my cutting was their fault, when in fact their the reason i hadnt pushed the razor harder. i constanly take 10-20 advil at a time. u cant OD on it. im not sure why. i've read the symptoms of depression and i match quiet a few. how can i figure out if i do have a mental problem or if im a typical teen?

It's not that you have a mental problem. And really, if you look at statistics, they'd show that you are a typical 14 year old female. Yes, I was in the same position, attempting suicide, cutting and all that junk but I couldn't take what I was doing to myself anymore. Not only was I hurting myself, but I was hurting others around me. Talk to your parents again to see if you could continue seeing a psycologist. Seeing one helped me so much and I'm happier than I've ever been in my entire life! Another thing you should try doing is to channel your energy onto something else. What do you enjoy doing? Try doing that more often. If there's a hobbie you'd be interested in try picking up that. I love to draw and play my guitar. That's like my own therapy for me, because it gets out all of my emotions by doing something you love. Talk to your parents, tell them that you don't like feeling this way and you don't understand why you do. They should understand.

ok i have this pimple that is like smaller than a pin head. the only problem is that it is so full of like puss and junk that it is white. i have tan skin so it REALLY shows up. the other thing is that it is like right where the outside curve of my nostril meets my face. so it is sort of hidden in a crease but still really noticable. my mom wont bring me anywhere to go get anykind of nutregina or anything so i need a home remedy on how to get rid of this bugger. like putting some kind of food on it or something. i need help and i need it fast.

Those are the worst! They do look really gross, I hate those. Honestly, since you're tan enough, wash your face with really hot water and whatever soap you have and take a pin and pop the pimple. Squeeze out as much of the puss and watery looking stuff as you can and keep a piece of ice on it. You'll have a very small scab, but hey, the pimple won't be there right? Try not to touch it too much because the oils from your hands will get into the scab causing it to get slightly infected and yet another pimple will show up. Good luck. Hope this helped.

do you use pads or tampons for your period?

I use both. In the day time I'll wear tampons because pad's just annoy the hell out of me. But at night, I'll wear the overnight pads because it's not 100% healthy to keep a tampon shoved up there for 24 hours. My mom was actually the one who taught me to do that, so I've been doing it ever since I started wearing tampons. The only time I'll ever wear a tampon to sleep is when I'm at a friends house because it's awkward to have a pad on when you're at a friend's house, for me at least. Hope this helped.

An ingrown hair is basically a hair that grows beneath your skin. When you shave your legs, bikini area, or anywhere else, you can get ingrown hairs. When you see like a red dot, it's kind of like a pimple looking thing and alot of the time they hurt, that would be an ingrown hair. Hope this helped.

Thanks! Yes, my boyfriend and I have had sex before. We both lost our virginity to eachother. We both thought it was a mistake because we weren't together for that long (6 months) and we felt we were too young. I'm not going to lecture you about how you're too young, but I want you to be safe if you and your boyfriend do decide to have sex. It's a big step in a relationship and it comes with alot of responsibilities. But, I feel if a couple truely loves eachother and they want to take their relationship to the next level, then let them. I need some suggestions for a good, reliable car that gets good gas milage and is safe. Don't give me answers with sports cars; insurance bites.

Toyota, Honda, Scion (really they're great cars) Pontiac, Chevy, some models of Mazda. I just went to a car show today so I have all this information still fresh in my mind. Fords are okay. BMW's are pretty good with gas milage, but they're expensive. So are Acuras. Hope this helped!

how can you find your bra size? like is there a way to measure yourself? maybe with a tape measurer or something?

Normally when you go to a Victoria's Secret type store, you can tell the ladies that work there that you don't know what size you are. They'll take out a tape measure and measure you and they'll tell you exactly what size you are and will bring you to a bunch of bras that would work for you. It might be a little uncomfortable having a woman take a tape measure around your chest, but trust me, it helps a hell of alot when you have no clue what size you are.

Well me and my boyfriend have exsperimented "below" the belt. He never said anything before, but now hes complaining about me not shaving. I shaved once before, now i usually just trim. When i shved i hated it i couldnt stand it, it itched and hurt and it was annoying. What should i do?

Oh hun, same thing happened to me. Same exact thing. My boyfriend had been begging me to shave down there and then when I did, he loved it. I sure as hell didn't. It itched like a mother fucker and there were so many damn ingrown hairs! It was gross. Tell your boyfriend that you're really not comfortable shaving there because when it starts to grow back, it makes you very uncomfortable and it bothers you alot. Apologize, but tell him that he has to understand and that you wouldn't ask him to shave himself down there for your liking. (By the way, when they shave there it makes it look bigger =x) ANYWAY! Tell him you're not comfortable doing it, you could keep it nice and short for him, but not completely bald. If he still complains about it, ask him to shave it himself and see how he likes it and how comfortable it is for him to be dealing with it. Trust me, it's not sexy at all having to scratch yourself there in public because it itches so damn much. Hope everything works out for you!

Emo is the shortened version of the word "emotional". I have no clue how the word "emo" came to be used describing a person's clothing style, but somehow, it did. Emo music is like the whiney music like my girlfriend left me, now I want to sit in a corner and slit my wrists blah blah blah. That kind of thing. It's a dumb trend in my opinion.

I know about cutting and what cutters do..but i watched tv the other day and it showed a girl who snapped a rubber band on her wrist and needed phyciatric help for it...what does a rubber band do and whats the purpos?

Have you ever had someone take a rubber band and pull it back really far and snap it on your arm/leg/hand/etc? It hurts doesn't it? Instead of having scars left behind from cutting, you'll still get that same feeling of pain from snapping a rubber band on your wrist. I've seen it done before, they do it for the same reason why cutters cut. They're addicted to the pain. Although you are not harming yourself as bad as a cutter would, you're still hurting yourself which is why she needed psyciatric help for it. Hope this helped.

well this kid ryan, in study hall today he walked by me and hit my pen and messed up my paper, so then after that he felt bad about it and sat next to me and asked me if he could re write it for me.. and then after he was done he wrote "i love ryan" all over my red binder in permanent marker, and hes like, "and it'll stay there forever because thats how long you'll love me okay?" and he walked me to my bus. but i dont know what this means.

That's kinda cute actually. I think he's just trying to flirt with you. He obviously likes you as more than a friend and wants to take your friendship to the next level eventually. I think that maybe he needed an excuse to talk to you so he purposely push your arm so he could feel bad about it and then rewrite your paper. Give the kid a chance, he seems like a nice guy! What are some good Tan Lotions to use? I don't want to get burnt or Skin Cancer, but I want to get tan!!

Estee Lauder Sunless is probably the best one to use. I don't like to use those because I like real tans, but my mom uses it and it looks very natural. It doesn't have that fake orange tint to it, it's more of a bronze color but its very pretty. Hope this helped.
