I use both. pads for sleeping and tampons for the day when I'm going out. I don't let my period ruin my day!! lol

you can use both but i use tampons cuz when you wear a pad it feels like your wearing a diaper

I use both. In the day time I'll wear tampons because pad's just annoy the hell out of me. But at night, I'll wear the overnight pads because it's not 100% healthy to keep a tampon shoved up there for 24 hours. My mom was actually the one who taught me to do that, so I've been doing it ever since I started wearing tampons. The only time I'll ever wear a tampon to sleep is when I'm at a friends house because it's awkward to have a pad on when you're at a friend's house, for me at least. Hope this helped.
