i am involved with a married man i dont love. i am with him because i have no other financial assistance. he is very controlling, obsessive and he threatens me , even locks me up in the house and demands to know my every move. i can live with my mother but i am scared through past experiences that they might disown me again and i have a 6yr old son. what should i do? i am 26yrs old, female. First off, if you truly dont love this man, get a divorce. Find a way to bring in a little extra money and either live with your mother or another relative or even get a small apartment untill you get back on your feet. If you go to school for a couple more years then maybe you can get a degree and a great job. For now take one step at a time as for your husband-look out for him and if he does anything to you, know that abuse and harassment is illegal and he can go to court. i hope i helped a little but take things slow and everything will get better in time good luck god bless

I've heard that when you're trying to lose weight that it's important to eat several small, healthy meals a day instead of only one or two large meals. What's a decent number of small meals a day to start with? Do you increase or decrease as time goes on? (link)

I think that if your trying to drop a few pounds, all you have to do w? eating healthy is have a HEALTHY 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and a few very small inbetween snacks (healthy again) and exercise daily and you should look and feel better good luck

ok im in a lot of trouble...here it goes, me, one of my best friends staci and her cousin nick got drunk at a party at her house(were all 13 and this is our first time getting drunk)...her aunt let us drink...so me and nick had like 5,6 straight shots and staci only had like 2. so me and nick were smashed and staci was a lil drunk...we went on stacis trampoline and we finally fell and were just laying there...i dont know i was being weird and was saying shit like"i love you guys, your the best, im glad we did this together." and i looked over at nick and we started hooking up he had his hand on my ass and i didnt mind, i had my hands all over him(not on his dick or anything) and we were making out for a while, my other best friend jessica likes him alot. but i was so drunk to even remeber that. staci finally relized what was going on and pull us off of each other and we were like what are you doing stop..and then she started freaking out and was like i need to call jessica i need to call jessica..and nick was trying to talk to her and i was like nick i love you and he was like yea i love you to..and he looked over and gave me a lil kiss. well jessica came over to stacis house and put me to bed and i fell alseep
this is wat nick said to staci about wat happened
-he said i was ontop of him and he would of stopped but he couldnt(while we were hooking up he kept saying i love u to me and he could of said stop, so that was a lie)
-staic said someone was holding her hands down he said he wasnt(like i said my hands were all over him so his one hand that wasnt on my ass must of been holding her hands down)
so now staci and jessica hate me and they believe what nick says and he was lying and they wont believe me..i cant even look at them any more and i tried to tell them when you get drunk you dont really relize whats going on..and jessica said she asked her sister and her sister said that u do relize whats going on when your drunk im soo mad and upset at the same time..i dont know wat i can say to jessica and staci so they know im sorry and that i was drunk and it wasnt really my fault (link)

OK missy, first, off dont ever get drunk again till your about 35! haha j/k but what you did was wrong and you know that your way to you to drink.i totally agree though, when you are drunk or high you have really little control over what your doing. Get them together for a final time and say ok listen, i no getting drunk was wrong and yes, taht WAS my decision. but i had little control over my actions and im sooo sorry for that. please forgive me nothing with nick meant anything and you know how much i love you so i would never do anything to hurt your feelings please accept my apology and can we go back to being good friends i miss you. give them time to think about it and if they go for it, great if they dont give them more time and its also their loss if you think of it that way. move on. Well, i dont think your parents really meant to kick you out but you should most definetly tell them straight out because what are you going to do 2 months after you have this baby and get into a bad situation? your going to need their support. take the good with the bad for now and take one baby step at a time keep me posted too lots of luck

I want to download limewire because I've heard you can get free downloadable music from it.. but I don't know if it's safe, and I don't know if I'll get in trouble with the law or anything for using it. Does anyone have any experience with it or any advice whether to download it or to not? (link)

Hey. Limewire is great for downloading w/e songs you can think of but it IS illegal!! It's not like the police are going to track you down and arrest you because lotsss of people use it. It also gives you popups and viruses but if you have a good virus blocker then you should be fine. Its up to you if you want to download it but make sure you get the basic version because that is the free one and for PRO you have to pay the descions up to you but good luck!! :)

I NEED A HORSE!!!! i love horses and i really want one.my friens tory got a horse last summer. my mom said its a posibility to get one.i was dreaming every night about having a horse after that.they havent said anything about it and win i bring horses up they allways change the subject.im sorry of making this so long but i am in need of your help.

i understand because i love horses too. Why dont you lease a horse first and then your mom will see how you handle the job? Leasing is almost like having your own w/o really having it LOL and yes, they are expenise but tell your parents that you will pick up on your chores and start helping out alot more and will even think of getting and extra job someplace to earn some extra money to put into your horse care. good luck & keep me posted

ok well about a month ago i found out that this guy likes me and that he'd been talking about me to his friends. then he started to hang around me a lot, walked with me to class and even referred to me as his gf to his friends. anywhoz as i got to know him, i began to get feelings for him too, but he didn't believe his friends when they said that i liked him back. well one day we were talking and i just flat out told him that i liked him, but he didn't really answer back..it was just awkward. i just blew it off and pretended that nothing happened. well that weekend we went out on a "date" and had an awesome time and we kept talking alot after that, but the last few days, it seems like he doesn't talk to me as much anymore and when we do he doesn't have much to say...has he totally lost all interest in me and is moving on or just being shy because he hasn't had a REAL gf in a while?? help me please! I think that since he hasn't had a gf in a while taht he is just acting shy and not wanting to make a wrong move ya know? take things slow and when he isnt interested in talking, let him relax for a while because im sure having someone like you as a gf is a real honor and he probably just doesnt want to lose you. if thats not the case, add to your question and ill see what i can do but for now, good luck and be patient :)

You sound just like me. Im 13 too and i ride horses too! thats cool so anyways, the first time i fell off, it was a shock to me but i went home and told my parents anyway. they were very scared for me but i told them taht it was all a part of riding. i told them that i will be very careful and about how much i love riding and to please not take that away from me! i think you should tell your parents. i really think they should understand because even though my parents didnt like it either, they came to except it as a fact of life. Now, ive been riding for 4 years and have fallen off all over the place and its no big deal so thats what i try to make my parents think too. But im ALWAYS careful good luck with that and keep me posted :)

I just wanted to get this off my chest and I wanted to know if it seems as though I'm going through alot for my age...I'm only 13. Here goes.
I did drugs (cocaine, and pills), I was constantly getting in fights, I've been to court 11 times, arrested 3 times, longest was for 7 months, I've been taken away from my family for a little while because I needed "help", I had a boyfriend for three years,then we got into a fight because he was moving, as soon as he left my house after the arguement he got into a fight with these people, got hit in the back of the head and died before I could say sorry about the fight, I never told my parents, they still don't know about it, after that I started to get into cutting, then I tried to kill myself by doing the following : drown myself, hang myself, stab myself in the stomach, from which I now have a scar on my stomach, had to stay in the hospital for that for a couple of months, then got taken away from the family again, then after I got out I tried to shoot myself but accidently left it on that safety thingy and couldn't get the nerve to do it again, I tried to get an ex whom was the boyfriend at rhe time to shoot me and he almost did 'til his mom walked in, I got taken away from the family again after that and was gone for about a year, he got arrested, and then I got heavier into cutting to the point where I would cut everyday even without a reason. That's when I got into the drugs then I got expelled, got sent to rader, my family now does not mention me to friend's, they tell me to my face that I'm an embarrassment, they all tell eachother they love eachother in front of me but have not once said it to me. Then I became bulimic, then anorexic, then after I stopped I found out my mom was over dosing and was bulimic and still is to this day. My brother might die at any moment because he now has heart problems and he's supposed to take medicine to help him but he doesn't take it, my parents are trying to get me sent away to korea or tennessee so I'll be out of their lives but none of my relatives in either places want me with them, I have no clue what's going on in my life anymore, my family insult me constantly, my dad and brother both hit me and I have serious health problems ( I get headaches at a minimum of 4 times a day, I pass out at least once every other week, and i throw up at least twice a week and I have no idea why) and my parents won't take me to the doctor to find out why, they've told me they hate me, and I do not understand myself whatsoever, and my parents told me pretty soon they plan on kicing me out with out a place to go and I'll just have to find out how to take care of myslef, and are trying to get me sent to a "institute" for help. And I was forced into sex because the person threathened me and I don't know if that is considered rape. Am I going through too much for my age?

I have never in my life heard a story such as yours and my heart goes out to you. I thought that my life was a total drag. YES! you are going through much to much for only 13! I don't know how it feels to get hit, or get forced into sex, or have my parents say they hate me. Please, i can think of times myself when i say to myself ' i feel like dying' or 'i wish my life ended here' but you have like....what...80 years ahead of you? Don't waste your life.. please you will at least get the chance to make things better for yourself if you go see the police or something. parents arent allowed to abuse kids and you have the rite to stand up for yourself. adn you can most definetly sue the person who forced sex on you. thats illegal and they could go to jail. i promise that if you make a great effort, things WILL get better i PROMISE just don't give up don't give up don't give up. if you try your hardest to make things better and make a true effort, everything will be behind you sooner or later. the real age to get into an R movie is 17. if you look about 17, its not like the movie theatre ppl are going to look at your birth certificate ya no? im sure u could get into one if you look around 17, but ask your parents/gaurdians first! you can also go to an R rated movie w/ someone 17 or older w/ you. tahts a definite in.

Okay. I'm a junior in high school and I'm graduating at the end of this year. I want to enter college in the Fall of 2006 and major in math and physics, those have always been areas that interest me. I have already applied to four different colleges, I'm working on scholarships as hard as I can, and I have two part-time jobs in addition to keeping up extracurriculars and 4 AP classes. I'm working as hard as I can this year because I really want to set myself up for college and living on my own.
Here's the problem: My mom has forbidden me to apply to any colleges, she wants me to go in the Fall of 2007 so that I can get in a full year of work, because she says I'm not mature enough. I have worked really, really hard at everything: I've kept up my chores, my job teaching piano, my job at the library, my schoolwork, and being in a musical, and she still won't let me. Now, normally I would think that working for a year to save up money for college is a great idea. But my majors are in math and physics, and a year is a long time to be away from calculus and quantum mechanics. I'm really afraid of losing the momentum, and of missing my chance to go for my goals.
My guidance counselor at school tells me to apply to every college I want to and not worry about my mom just yet...along with a score of other people, like my dad, my grandma, my boyfriend, and various other family friends. It's just, I'm really worried about this...like the fight that will ensue once I start hearing back from the colleges I applied to. I'm completely dedicated to going in the Fall of 2006...with or without my mom's consent, but I would really like it to be with.
Is there anything I can do to convince her I can handle it?

it sounds like you have worked realllly hard! dont give up on all that hard work just because your mom wants you too. apply to whatever colleges you would like to. after all, its your decision, not hers. try to sit her down and talk it out with her, but tell her that no matter waht, you are going to do whatever you feel is right for you. someday she will understand i promise but for now, if she REALLY wont budge on the idea, i say do w/e it takes to go for what you want. if it means only getting one parents sigiture, go for it good luck with everything i hope i helped

Ok, well here is my story. Me and this guy I have known since 8th grade (10th grade now) went out for about a year. We have been "semi-dating" I guess you could say ever since we broke up, but the thing is that after we broke up we still had a relationship and I got pregnant. After he found out that I was pregnant we started to get really close again and it made me want to be with him. Both him and I know that the baby is his, there's no doubt about that. Well, today we were talking and he knows that I still would really like it if we made our dating official, like boyfriend girlfriend again. He knows that I want to be with him, and he said that we would be together. Well here is where the problem comes in, he doesn't want to make it official. To me if it isn't official then does that mean I can be with someone else? I am the type to get jealous and I think that unless we make it official I will continue to feel the way I do and its making me very depressed, what should I do? Would it be right if I just took charge and asked him out or should I just keep giving him hints that I want him to do it? HELP PLEASE

I was wondering if anyone can help me make a plan of when to change "supplies" during my school schedule. I'm only in middle school, so no one uses purses yet. There's also this one girl who ALWAYS searches my pencil case to find gum and whatnot so I can't use my pencil case! I go to my locker before lunch time, and in past situations I have picked up a purse in which I put a pad in. But, I hate using purses because its SO obvious that when you carry a purse to the bathroom, you have your period!! I don't know any other ways! I don't want to buy anything at school because the dispncers have the worst brands. My tampon can not last ALL day and I'm a little scared to use jumbo because im sure they're hard to insert and other stuff. If anyone wants to contradict this idea please do so! I need some ideas! i say you bring a purse with you. it doesnt have to be huge and noticeable, you can even keep extra pencils and pens in it. soon, every1 will be in the same situation as you so go for w/e feels right. (if you really dont feel its necessary then i say u buy every sweatshirt with a zipper pocket so it wont fall out :) good luck
